Within 10 minutes from the train station if you walk or you can simply take a tram and it stops right in front of the hotel. We stayed at one of the rooms in the basement. There's a gallery and it's cute. Room is sufficient for the two of us.

Staff is friendly. Room facility is good. Bed is big enough and bath room is also good. And we love the variety of breakfast menu and dining area. Very close to all the locations to visit.

Floor of shower area was a bit dirty. it was overflowed until we cleaned hairs. But everything was fine except that.

Ümbruskonnas palju söögikohti ja ostukeskuseid. Teenindajad väga viisakad ja abivalmid. Saime nii minnes kui tulles väga muretult ja mugavalt oma kohvreid hoiustada.

The street outside of the hotel was busy and congested. We couldn’t park our taxi and take our bags out in front, so we had to lug them for blocks from a parking spot. The hotel attendants didn’t help us take bags to our rooms even though we had two babies in tow. And the room was completely dark at all times of the day and awkwardly arranged such that we had no space for our bags. Overall, it was a poor experience, and one we would not recommend anyone else pursue. It’s bewildering why the hotel maintains a five-star rating, because it shouldn’t.

Fab hotel and staff - always on hand to support and offer advice. Location is perfect and so central. Lots of places to eat and everything within walking distance. Would highly recommend!

I came here with my husband and we booked a room for one night. Initially, when I was browsing through the hotels in Helsinki, Marski stood out to me as it looked incredibly modern and has a luxurious sort of feel to it. Hence, I was incredibly excited to get a room here. I really love the location of this hotel, as it was right in the middle of the city and it was really easy for us to walk around and shop! I also really love the customer service by the staff, and they were really nice and polite.

Once we got our room cards, we soon realised that the location of the room was not to our expectations. They put us in a room in another wing, and although the hotel looks modern and luxurious, the room and the location it was in was the exact opposite... The wing we were in was extremely old, and the elevator was similar to the elevator I saw in the movie titanic :( Our room was also right beside the emergency exit door, and we had an “ice maker” right beside us that was old and yellow and not in use. The staff did let us know after our trip that this is stated when you book the room in booking.com, and it was, so I do apologize about that. The staff also stated that the elevator is kept to keep the heritage! The rooms in the other wing are stated under "The rooms are located in our Yrjönkatu building." I do wish this was more clearly stated, and the amenities outside the room should clearly be shown in the pictures too. The room was decent, but I did realise that there were no bathroom amenities given, other than 2 glass cups. The water pressure in the sink was also extremely high everytime.

Localização excelente. Fizemos tudo a pé. Quarto para Avenida, gostamos da vista e era silencioso. Hotel moderno. Tinha academia e sauna separada masc e fem. Não optamos pelo café da manhã.

Really well positioned in terms of arriving by train from the airport and a good base to explore Helsinki. The breakfast was amazing, huge choice of good quality products something for everyone.

We arrived quite late after a long day travelling, the bar was open as we checked in but then after checking in we were told they were closed . We just wanted a nightcap thought for guests that was a shame. It was £250 for one room (2 adults & 2 children) b&b which I thought was a little expensive.

Hotel is in a fantastic location, a 5 minute walk from the train station, and near the main shopping and restaurant area. Room was very comfortable and more importantly warm as it was -10 outside during our stay. Breakfast was excellent with a huge choice of hot and cold food. Staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Perfekte Lage sehr zentral gelegen und das Frühstück war hervorragend.

In der Sauna haben Männer und Frauen einen eigenen Bereich. Das war für mich nicht gut da ich aufgrund einer Taubblindheit mit persönlicher weiblicher Assistenz gereist bin.

Room was a good size, nice and modern with a sauna in the bathroom which was a fab touch!

Staff could have been a bit more friendly and knowledgable on reception. When arrived we asked for recommendations for traditional local food and were recommended pasta/burgers/Tex mex and a chain restaurant that we have in the UK. We also asked for our linen to be changed at 9am on the Saturday morning, by 6pm it hadn’t been changed and the person who came to do it said he hadn’t been told. He then had to do it whilst we were getting ready to go out for dinner which was not the ideal situation.

We loved the location and room! Bed and pillows super comfortable. Room view the best! Breakfast very delicious, kids loved making waffles and fresh juices- delicious!!

Bad coffee was negative surprise. Normally in Finland coffee is always good. Very tight garage. Sofa where our child slept made loud creaking noise.

Everything was perfect. Location, staff, the room…would recommend it!

This hotel was located near the sights we wanted to see. Easy access to the hotel from the airport. Plenty of nearby restaurants, shopping, and strolling. The breakfast buffet was outstanding! Lots of choices, quality, freshness, and variety. My only warning has to do with nothing related to the hotel, and that is that the taxi system seems to be a bit of a wild west sh!t show in Helsinki, so be careful and take Uber or one of the official taxi companies. (Ask for recos from your hotel or folks who've been.)

Outstanding stay in Helsinki, very centrally located and of easy access by car or public transportation. Great staff, with excellent decoration and commodities. The breakfast was superb, having a lot of traditions finnish options. A stay to repeat.

Private parking could be included in the fare.

Bathroom was dark and tub/shower was hard to get in and out.

The hotel is at the heart of the city center. The transport link is very well connected and one can easily move to any tourist attraction they want.

Nothing is the property I can say I didn't like. It was just a one-night stay but it was amazing. The room, bathroom and the food (breakfast) are all in proper line.

Good location.

The interior was nice. Breakfast was good. It was really silent although the hotel was along the main street.
