Im Herzen des Amish Country im historischen Lancaster County gelegen, wurde das Herrenhaus um 1845 von Captain William Fassitt als Ort für prächtige Feste und Gästeunterhaltung erbaut.
Heute kommen Gäste immer noch, um die Ruhe des hügeligen Farmlands zu genießen, oder die kurze Fahrt zum Outlet-Shopping, Longwood Gardens und den vielen Amish-Attraktionen der Region zu unternehmen.

We cannot say enough amazing things about our stay. What a stunning property. We had a very large group of kids, adults, and seniors and it was absolutely perfect. So spacious, stunning views, and stocked with absolutely everything we needed. The yard, the animals, the beautiful scenery were just perfect. And so close to all the things we wanted to do. We will be back!

This is a very special house! The history of this house makes it feel almost holy and for that reason i would have been glad to stay even if it wasn't amazing in other ways. But I'm happy to say it was perfectly well suited for our group of 11. We loved the big dinning room table for games, puzzles and just hanging out with each other. Sitting on the front porch just enjoying the animals and watching the buggies go by was so relaxing. Best of all the host was amazing, quick to respond and so helpful in everyway.

The home is lovely and very spacious! There were 13 of us visiting together for Thanksgiving weekend. We had plenty of room, and the house is extremely clean. All of the amenities were great, especially the gigantic refrigerator in the kitchen, which held our entire Thanksgiving, dinner and food for several days for that many people. The property itself is beautiful! the owner was friendly and kind. There was plenty to do in the surrounding area as well. We booked and enjoyed hatchet, throwing an escape room, as well as a giant farmers market and some shopping. We would definitely return! This place was well worth it.

Our team loved staying here! It's rustic with a lot of history, and the owners are super nice to work with. A+
A few negatives as far as using this for a meeting: the kitchen, while well stocked is not that large, parking was a little difficult, along with lacking electrical outlets. We make it work!
I think it would be great for a family get-together!

We loved everything! Great location! Great communication with owner! The kids loved the goats and chickens! Perfect yard for family time! Lots of space for all of us young and old! Amazing kitchen! Would definitely recommend and come again if we are in the area!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Fassit Mansion! It had so many rooms for families to use and lots of space indoors and out (and, of course, almost enough bathrooms for teen girls). There were playthings and spacious play areas for the young ones, too. And the farm animals were a big hit with our younger crowd.
We would recommend it to anyone trying to have a family vacation that includes 3 or 4 families together.

We had a sibling reunion and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect place! The house had 7 bedrooms and bathrooms for each of them. A huge kitchen equipped with absolutely everything you would need and a large living room to gather and dining room that sat all 14 of us! But our favorite place to gather was the big front porch with the rockers overlooking the stunning yard. The hosts were so wonderful and did everything to make our stay perfect. We opted in for their dinner option the night we arrived and we all have not stopped talking about how good the food was. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful, historical home. Juana and her family made our stay delightful. Everyone enjoyed their baby goats and the chickens. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay with our group of 16. We enjoyed all the sights of the Lancaster area and had wonderful family time together. Thank you Juana for a perfect vacation experience!!

We hosted a small, intimate wedding at Fassitt Mansion and it was absolutely perfect. The property and house are gorgeous, the owners had everything we needed and the food was over the top. I am so grateful to have found this gem. Thank you for making our wedding a dream come true.

Our group of 12 friends enjoyed our stay in this historic and spacious home set in the picturesque rural countryside of Pennsylvania. It was easy access to many interesting day trips to gardens, museums, and restaurants in the area. The owners who were very responsive to our needs prepared and served a delicious dinner our first night there. We had a great time!

We used the house for a multi-generational family reunion and had a great time. The location was great and Juana was a helpful and gracious host. The house was large, clean, and well-maintained. It easily fit our family of 8 adults and 6 kids.

This is a great vacation rental for families.
We had plenty of room for all of us.
There was one bedroom on the ground floor that we used for the grandparents, so they didn't need to climb stairs.
We had the children on the top floor in bedroom 8, in which the owners were able to add an additional 3 single beds for us.
Additionally, the house and grounds were large enough to keep kids entertained for hours.
The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to make large family meals. The dining room table was large enough for us to have a nice sit down dinner with the family every night.
We choose this stay for its size and proximity to "Longwood Gardens" ~40min away. There are many other great sights and activities for families in the area as well.
We had a wonderful time with our stay and would definitely recommend it.

We absolutely loved this property! The house has so much history and while the decor preserves the historic feeling, it has all the modern conveniences/updates necessary for a comfortable stay. This house had plenty of room for our 3 families that were meeting to celebrate my in-laws 50th anniversary. We all enough of our own space, yet wonderful gathering places to be together. Would definitely stay again if ever back in the area. Highly recommend!

This was our second stay at the Fassitt Mansion. We absolutely love this place and the owners' hospitality. The location is both beautiful and bucolic, and convenient to so many lovely sights and locales, including smorgasbords, shops with hand crafted Amish and Mennonite goods, Sight and Sound Theater, and so much more. The historic home is beautiful and spacious, almost museum-like in its role in the Underground Railroad. Our hosts prepared an *amazing* breakfast one morning, another highlight of our stay. It may sound trivial, but the fresh-grind coffee machine is out of this world and something everyone keeps talking about. We can't thank our hosts enough for allowing us to enjoy this wonderful experience once again.

This property was everything we expected, it was clean, homey, warm, instructions easily accessible, very comfortable and on and on. The host's were amazing; they responded to my emails within minutes, they were kind and flexible. We had them cater breakfasts and one dinner and they were incredibly accommodating to our dietary needs and the food, made by the husband, was FANTASTIC!!!! The wife was the liaison and so kind and friendly. I loved the house and them and will be back!

We had an awesome winter weekend at this amazing jewel of a property situated about a half hour or less from any possible Lancaster attraction you could want to go to. Our friend group enjoyed beautiful rooms with their own bathrooms, a well-appointed kitchen, and the largest dining room table we’ve ever seen for our group meals and game nights. The house is right next to a working farm, and we got fresh eggs from our hostess, who was a dream to work with - very responsive with any questions. Would totally recommend to anyone with a group.

It was such a pleasure to stay at this 200+ year old farmhouse with a special place in history. We were celebrating a family wedding and hosting the pre-wedding welcome and rehearsal dinner at the farmhouse. The proprietors, Juana and John are all about hospitality and offer special amenities for events. Fabulous cuisine from their own garden and local merchants, quaint décor, even flowers from a neighbor, all in a beautiful farmland setting. Juana even provided additional assistants for our gatherings who were kind and courteous making our guests feel so welcome. If you are ever in the Gap area of PA, don't miss an opportunity to treat yourself to a brush with history and experience the hospitality of this dynamic, energetic, talented, skilled and hard-working couple who's care keep this Old Farmhouse full of life!

We were in the area for our daughters wedding and wish we had more time to enjoy the home and the property. I have never stayed at a property that was better stocked in the kitchen than this home. It is truly a home for entertaining. We had breakfast catered which was so amazing. Would highly recommend both the property and the catering. The area is Lancaster is so beautiful and peaceful as well

This home was the perfect setting for our Lancaster County family reunion. It comfortably housed four families; with each of the couples getting a lovely room with a private bath. The kids/teens took the remaining rooms and spent all of their free time hanging out on the third floor. They loved having their own space (with mini fridge & microwave) away from the grown-ups. This historical home is a short drive to multiple local attractions and is actually next door to an Amish farm with very large mules. Juana is super helpful and provided us with delicious farm fresh eggs. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Our family had a very enjoyable week at this property. It was very accommodating, and it is located in a wonderful area with much to offer. The property afforded us adequate dining area for a large group, adequate sleeping quarters and bathrooms, a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of toys and books for the children, and plenty of seating and areas for relaxation between activities. We recommend this property to others who need the room for large groups. We found it very adequate in a great environment.
