This was a beautiful property. My husband and our grown kids planned this getaway for my 50th birthday. It was everything I was looking for. It’s your own quiet sanctuary. I wanted to spend quality time together as a family and that’s just what we did. We made memories to last a lifetime. Thank you to Rick and your family for sharing your beautiful home with my family. Spent 3 nights with my husband, kids and friends during thanksgiving. House was fully equipped with all that you need. Game room in the basement was such a bonus. Beds were comfortable and cozy. Rick was very responsive to my questions. Would love to visit again during the spring.

This is the second time in three years that we stay at this property and we could not be happier: great location, great entertainment for children and adults, wonderful amenities, and gorgeous weather in the 80s. This house has everything for our group of friends and was in a very cute and quiet area!

The weather went from the teens to 60s depending on the day and some rain but the property had everything you needed. Game room for the rainy days and hot tub and walking around the woods with your dogs when it was nice out.. How can you go wrong. Really nice place to stay.

We really enjoyed the property. The property is big with 2 streams running through it. The game room was a huge hit with the kids. We love the hot tube. The location is ideal since it is close to several ski slopes. The owner is easily reachable. Highly recommend.

A few of us friends just wanted a quick getaway to recharge and we found it. The house was perfect for chilling and playing games. Our pups LOVED it as well... It was not far from Hunter so we went tubing and had dinner there one night... the rest of the time we played games, relaxed, went hiking (saw bear tracks) - jus thad the greatest time. Thanks so much to Rick! We'll be back!

Lovely little holiday getaway to celebrate the new year. The spacious house and beautiful property provided the perfect opportunity for four bookworms who just wanted to get away, read by the fire, and enjoy nature for a few days

Our group of 6 adults and one dog absolutely loved staying at this house. The location was exactly what we were looking for; a secluded getaway to relax with friends. The woods surrounded the home are beautiful and allowed us to have some fun in the snow and let our dog play. The house was very clean with all the amenities we’d need. We cooked in the kitchen, played in the game room, relaxed in the living room and spent some time in the hot tub. The owner, Rick, was very helpful and set us up for a smooth check in and stay processes. He was also incredibly accommodating with requests we had. I absolutely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a beautiful location in the Catskills. There are lots of hikes nearby.

This place had large windows that allowed you to take in the beautiful sceneries. The relaxing sound of the stream that flowed down the back of the property was such a nice change from the annoying sound of city traffic

We stayed in Ricks rental in November 2022, we were celebrating a birthday there and wanted a nice getaway with some friends. This house was beautiful! More than we could’ve ever imagined. Very peaceful, clean, quiet and everything we could’ve asked for! We discovered a brewery only 7 minutes down the road, WestKill Brewing. The hot tub and game room was our favorite part of the house all weekend! The backyard was a nice spot to just relax in the morning with a cup of coffee or at night for a nice bonfire. Rick was very responsive to any questions we had reached out to him about. The house is very spacious and was able to comfortably accommodate all 9 of us.

Very happy with our experience. We had a group of 8 adults. The guys loved the couch, so comfy. We enjoyed our stay, and had everything we needed as listed. The game room downstairs, hot tub, and fire pit were highlights. Good communication with Rick, would come back here and definitely recommend. Thank you!

It was heavenly.

Rick was a communicative and gracious host. There were 4 of us up there for a guys weekend of hiking, brewery hopping, and relaxing and you can do it all at this place. There’s a great game room in the basement, plenty of space to relax and unwind inside and a huge back yard for sitting by the fire, playing corn hole, etc. West Kill brewery is a hidden gem and only 10 minutes away. Devils Path Trail was a beautiful hike (steep for beginners) and is basically right around the corner. A lot more activities are within a 20-30 minute drive. You won’t regret booking here. 4 discerning dudes in their 40s had an amazing time.

This home was absolutely beautiful. We especially loved the deck and all the outside amenities. The description of the home was very accurate and everything is well maintained. We would definitely return for a stay in the fall. The drive in was beautiful and the air was so fresh. The rivers and creek surrounding the area makes for great photo op. Bring everything you need because the drive into town is about 30 minutes out and although fun could be time consuming. Thank you Rick.

We are a family of two adults and two boys 12 and 15 who desperately needed to get away from hustle and bustle of everyday life. We had a great time relaxing at this comfy and cozy property. The house was perfect for us. The kitchen was well equipped with everything one needs to make and serve meals. The bedrooms were comfortable and the boys loved having one room to play games in and one for sleeping. The living room had plenty of seating and we adored the media/entertainment nook. We had a super time in the game room, the jacuzzi, and wandering the property. We took in some incredible hikes at Kaaterskill Falls, Diamond Notch Falls, and the Fire Tower hike. The West Kill Brewery was a true gem of a find very close to the house. Rick, the owner was fantastic and so responsive to any questions or concerns. We had a problem with the upstairs shower and the heat in the game room and he was on top of getting both fixed! He walked me through resetting the heat in the game room while he was on vacation himself! I cannot tell you how much I appreciated his accessibility to his guests. He is truly a great host. He had all sorts of tips for navigating the area and for places to explore. One word of warning, West Kill is a small town and it is about 30 minutes drive from most places, which was not an issue for us as we just wanted to hang out at the house and explore what was close by. However, if you are looking to go out to restaurants, bars, or shopping, you will want to stay somewhere closer to the major sights and attractions. But, I hope that you choose to stay here, it is truly a great getaway spot with an incredible host.

It was just what we needed for our girls weekend away. Although it would be accommodating for families with kids as well. There are games, movies, and other little useful amenities for the visit.

Stayed here for a relaxing and low key weekend to celebrate a bride-to-be in the catskills. Maybe 20-25 min from Windham mountain, this was a very quaint and homey catskill property. We really liked the cozy cabin decor. Plenty of amenities. Game room, fire place, smart tv, dvd's, board games, etc. We loved the "off the beaten path" location of this rental. The owner was very kind and accommodating. Very responsive. We unfortunately had to leave a night early due to an incoming Nor'easter, but enjoyed our stay for a little over 24 hours. My only note is that I wish the twin beds in the 2 upstairs bedrooms were stated that they were loft-style high up on a ladder. We were a small group of girls in our 30's, but all of us were very nervous climbing up and down those ladders. Would be a good option for kids, but not so much an older group. Also, please note that while the wi-fi was working just fine, there is zero cell service in this area. Owner provides a landline in case of emergency. Check in was a breeze and rental was spacious and clean. I wish we had more time to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and hot tub on the property (which looked clean and a great hangout spot for a small group). Overall a wonderful rental and worth the trip up north. Highly recommend.

House and property description are accurate. My family of five and our dog had a great time. We enjoyed skiing (mountains are about 25 minute drive ) and other outdoor mountain adventures during the day. We cooked dinners at the house, and enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, air hockey, foosball, and movies in front of the fireplace.

Although we only stayed there for a weekend,we had a great time! Rick was quick and kind with his responses. The house is pretty homie, and comfortable. The kids loved playing in the snow on the deck ,which was super easy to supervise them. I loved that the house was fully stocked with all the necessities. The living area is a great place for a dance party with the kids. I will definitely go there again.Even though we did not have the time to use the hot tub, we enjoyed the option. Rick was an amazing host!!!

Despite the rainy weather we all had a great time. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Hot tub, rec room with great activities and a nice cozy fireplace. Rick was a great host. Would love to do it again!

I was very impressed with this property and it was a beautiful house and location! Very secluded and the whole property was very clean. Rick was not responding to messages on the VRBO app, but we were able to contact him easily via the phone number he provided. Would highly recommend and happily stay here again!

This was the PERFECT getaway to celebrate my husbands birthday with our family (18,20,22 y/o kids). The house had so much to do and we loved that we could all do different things or hang out together! My son liked hiking through the woods, my daughter & fiancé enjoyed the hot tub and hanging out with us by the fire pit and playing pool in the game room. We also had both our dogs there and they were in Heaven & loved sleeping in front of the fireplace! Rick was so easy to deal with and fast to respond with any questions we had. It mostly rained/snowed and we still had so many options of how to enjoy our time. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave today - it was a very much needed, relaxing and fun getaway! We can’t wait to go back!! Thank you Rick!!

Great weekend getaway. Our trip consisted of 4 adults, 4 kids (3 and under) and a dog and we had a great time. We loved the updated hot tub for the adults at night! Had everything we needed and the owner Rick with very communicative. You are pretty secluded but with a 20/30 mins drive you can find some restaurants. Would stay again.

I have stayed at about 8 houses in the Catskills in the last few years and this is my favorite. Quiet, private, extremely clean and well taken care of house and property. Beautiful garden, koi pond, gazebo, and creek on the property. House had all the amenities, including a new hot tub. I hope to be back soon!
