Das Schlafzimmer verfügt über sunrise Blick auf Mt Eisen im Osten ein Panorama des Mt Gold, um die Nord- und mehr Blick auf den See im Westen.
Sehr warm im Winter, mit zwei Wärmepumpen - eine oben und eine unten, einem Holzofen und Heizdecken auf allen Betten.
Das Hotel liegt an der beliebten Anderson Road, nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von der schönen Bremner Bucht, den Sportplätzen, der Gemeinde Wanaka, Cafés und dem Gemeinschaftspool entfernt. Ausgezeichnete Mountainbike-Strecken, einschließlich Sticky Forest, sind alle bequem zu erreichen.

The property has amazing views across Wanaka and the lake. It's a bit further from the centre of town so probably easier for staying in if you have a car and/or are eating in some nights, as we were. It was very clean and tidy and well-appointed, though the many kitchen drawers and cupboards made it a bit of a challenge to find the right things sometimes! It took us ages to find the tea towels (tucked in by the u-bend under the sink) and it would have been good to have a separate hand towel in the kitchen to avoid having to dry hands on the tea towels, but that's the only (very very minor) gripe. The rooms got very warm in the hot summer days but we dealt with that by closing the blinds/curtains before going out in the morning to keep the sun out and opening lots of windows when we returned at the end of the day. It was brilliant that detergent/soap/shower gel/shampoo/conditioner were provided and that they're refillable ones. It was easy to get access to the property and the recycling and rubbish system was clearly explained. Would highly recommend and would love to stay here again!

Brilliant location, lovely and warm with heaps of firewood and the heatpump/heaters in the rooms made everything so cosy.. Plenty of crockery and glassware. Stunning views over Wanaka. Downsides (and this is why the rating of 3) were the water pressure was terrible especially when other water sources were being used and the toilet in particular downstairs was very, very hard to flush - we used a bucket in the end to flush. Thebaby gate lock was also broken and the lower dish drawer didn't work.

Fantastic house for two families
Fantastic house for two families. Beds very comfy. And lovely and warm. Great views. We had a great stay. Only issue was our children weren’t able to flush the toilets themselves (the flush mechanisms are very stiff).

The house is a passive solar design so was very warm and comfortable. The kitchen was one of the best designed I have seen. Had a couple of minor maintenance issues and Heather was very responsive to our requests. Thoroughly recommend. Will return!

The walk to town is a bit further than I thought, but was good exercise. I would highly recommend it for a family.

The views are magnificent. If you don't mind a hill or two you can walk to town. The only thing lacking was some board games and books when bad weather set in. Also the water pressure could be improved. Internet is available at a cost.

The views are truly spectacular.
The views are truly spectacular. Even better than the photos. We loved being able to look down the lake to TC, checking for clouds in the morning and watching groomers at night. Bedding was good, kitchen well-equipped, and the house was warm and sunny. Only negative was the heat pump is downstairs so kitchen/living cold in morning unless you want to fire up the wood burner. The property manager kindly lent us a heater which was perfect for taking the chill off before we headed out for the day.

The property was beautiful, with STUNNING views (literally) in every direction!
The property was beautiful, with STUNNING views (literally) in every direction! Kitchen/cooking supplies were well-stocked, and there was room for my family to spread out. The house did get cold at night, so we used the heater downstairs, and wish we had a portable heater for the cold master. In mornings we used wood stove, which worked great. The steep driveway was a bit tricky to turn around in (in our very large van), but it was worth the extra effort for those views!
