The hotel is clean.

Unfortunately my experience in this hotel was very disappointing. First of all no one explained me how the elevators work so I was stuck in the wrong floor for 20 minutes , I had a panic attack as I could not leave the floor and there was no communication with the reception whatsoever. Also , when I went to the rooftop to eat, I felt offended by a member of the rooftop bar who commented on my dress and suggested that I should change clothes if I want to eat at the restaurant, even though my outfit was pretty decent and they made me feel absolutely terrible. I would never go back to the hotel .

The hotel is grand and smells fabulous--definitely a 5 star property. They have 3 pools, one traditional inside the courtyard and a spectacular roof top pools -adult and family with top notch service. The restaurant offered far better than average hotel food. The roof top pool has panoramic views of the city and historic landmarks

The view was very nice and the breakfast was great. Staff member by the name of Evi was excellent.

We arrived 1 hour after check in time and the room was not ready. We only stayed for 1 night and booked the hotel for the purpose of the rooftop pool - to only be told that the pool was unavailable from 6:30pm. We were at the pool for 40 minutes and then had to leave. The drinks at the bar took forever, no sense of urgency. The hotel is only 7 levels - however each level has over 90 rooms. There are only 4 lifts and each time you need to take the lift it is a 10-15 minute wait at a minimum, which minimized the time we could spend in the pool. There was a lack of communication across the entire hotel. Some staff knew that the pool was closed, then others had no idea.

1. It is very crowded for check-in and check-out that we almost missed our next flight because the receptionists were very slow with guests. 2. It took us 20 minutes to check-in which was far too long. 3. The Elevators!!! These are a nightmare. They have a ‘smart’ elevator system that tells you which elevator number you will get; but it is not smart. Waiting 15-30 minutes for an elevator is outrageous. 4. The first room we got had a drainage problem and the room and bathroom smelled very bad.

Modern and spotlessly clean. Excellent club lounge with good variety of food and beverages. Fantastic spa with swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Amazing views of the Acropolis from the roof top pool/bar.

Location, opposite sex / strip clubs. Very busy / noisy main road.

Little outdated and very hectic. They need at least the double amount of lifts.

The roof top pool with spectacular views and bar tender on the 8th floor were the highlights.

The elevators are very confusing and extremely busy. The Grand by Interni restaurant on the 9th floor is designed beautifully and has lovely food however the wait time to be served menus and drinks was unusually slow even at quieter times. We requested bread for the table and instead of receiving the usual bread and olive oil we were provided with bread and fish roe which unfortunately resulted in a vegetarian consuming the fish roe. The total dining time at the table was 2 and half hours for one drink and one main course each which was a little extreme we felt.

Nothing to really like, reception very nice.

Unser Zimmer hatte einen kleinen Pool auf dem Balkon, der Blick war zum Innenhof. Die Größe war ausreichend. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut mit grosser Auswahl. Im Spabereich hat der große Sportpool von früh bis spät geöffnet. DIe Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr nett. Die Aussicht auf die Akropolis und der Sonnenuntergang vom Pooldeck sind spektakulär.

Leider sind die Öffnungszeiten des Infinitypool eingeschränk. An 2 Nachmittagen war das Pooldeck ganz gesperrt für private Veranstaltungen. Der Weg vom Zimmer zum Fahrstuhl war sehr lang.

Staff is fantastic. Everybody very helpful and nice. Good breakfast. Good pools. Beautiful view from Parthenon.

You can see, from the many reviews I have published, that I am usually very satisfied with the hotel where I stay. But not this time. Considering Grand Hyatt is a 5 star hotel, this is how it has to be evaluated. And it is far from being a real 5 star. I reinforce - the staff is fantastic. But nothing else compares to the staff. The reception is old and should be renovated. The carpet is dirty in many places. The "smart" lift is annoying because it is everythig but smart. Sometimes it takes several minutes to arrive and it makes no sense when other lifts seem to be available and closer to your floor. The shower floods the floor everytime because it barely has the 1/2 glass door that you can find in European hotels. It is more like a 1/3 door. The hotel room is more like a Mercure hotel - and I like Mercure very much, but it does not consider itself a 5 star hotel. I know all these must look like small details, but be aware that you will not be in a fantastic hotel. Finally, location is not ideal. If possible, stay in Plaka.

Der Empfang von der Tür, die Gepäckträger waren sehr freundlich.

Der Chef Receptionist war sehr inkompetent, die Kollegen waren überfordert und der Hotel-Direktor war nicht auffindbar, wahrscheinlich waren zu viele Gäste da, leider ist er nicht der Richtige.

Énormément des personnes, pas bien organisé, les ascenseur on pouvait attendre 20’min pour prendre l’ascenseur. Restaurant qualité mauvaise et prix élevé.

The dinner was excellent and gave a us a taste of Greece. The wine was good and local and staff were helpful. Breakfast was particularly generous.

The lift system was bizarre and unlike anywhere else we stayed. It was difficult to understand and caused a lot of confusion in the lobby when it was busy.

Absolutely 💯 beautiful and 5 star!!! The staff at reception especially Silvie was an absolute star!! Went above and beyond to make out stay wonderful! The indoor pool allows for families to swim from 5pm till 8pm which is fantastic! Free shuttle bus into town and back every hour.. red tour bus stops outside the hotel. Perfect location.

Bar staff on 9th floor too slow and double standards! We wish outdoor pools were heated!
