Location and friendly staff
Filthy and run down with broken and missing decor.

Lots of hot water. Nice grassy area for dogs. Good location.
Air conditioner didn’t work properly and died the last night there. Front door handle kept coming off. Stove was missing a burner. Lots of little bugs coming in from the cracks around windows and doors. No instructions for the tv and a remote that controlled the tv. With a little upkeep, these cabins would be great. Oh, and the sheets kept coming loose. Maybe get some sheets that fit better or a strap thingy that holds them in place.

Not much
Where to start,
No one to greet us
Lots of insects in the cabin
AC did not work very well
Food left on the floor
Toilet seat that only fits 10 and under
Shower was moldy
Given the choice of driving to Omak or Wenatchee keep driving or sleep in your car.
At half the price it would have been overpriced.

False advertising: I booked with Idle a While Cabins, not Idle a While motel. They are on the same site, and are the same business, but I booked a cabin and was given a motel room. The price was good for the cabin but not good for the room, which had no cooking facilities. However, the internet was satisfactory and the location was convenient to town.
The motel room smelled so stale I was almost overcome. I don't think it was cigarette smoke, but it was just so stale - was it the carpet or other soft furnishings? The air conditioner was incredibly noisy.

nice shower, clean towels and sheets, great location, nice cabin layout, nice clothes dresser, nice bedside nightstand and light, good wifi.
My cabin and furniture smelled like smoke. Very bothersome for me. Rooms were dark. And kitchen pots utensils were very limited. very small table for dining.

We had an amazing stay. The area was great. The spa was awesome.

The sheets and towels were clean, and the mattress fairly comfortable. The location is great, and there's a huge grass lawn behind the cabins that is great for people traveling with dogs.
Where do I start? It's very run down. A/C units were recently added, but they're "insulated" into the wall with towels shoved into the gap, and wasps could get in through the cracks. The bathroom sink was clogged, several light bulbs were burned out, making the whole place very dark, the TV didn't work at all, the kitchen "knives" couldn't cut butter, and the furniture is from the early 90s and pretty gross- looking. We covered it all with sheets we'd brought to protect the furniture from dog hair, but it ended up being a 2-way thing. The pillows are very flat and stiff, the sort you can get at Walmart for $5 for a 2 pack, and we regretted not bringing our own.

It was clean other than the 200 or so dead insects in the window well above the kitchen sink. I mentioned it to the manager, and he did make good on a promise to vacuum them up while we were out. It was an easy walk into downtown. I loved the chickens that were walking around the property. When we first arrived the chickens were waddling around "The Spa", a small building where they had a hot tub and tiny gym room, which of course was closed due to the pandemic. When I laughed at the humorous situation of chickens in front of a spa, the chickens crossed the driveway and began floowing me to our cabin! That made me laugh harder, but I managed to shoo them away. While I didn't partake in the tennis courts or corn hole game behind the cabins, but I thought it was sweet they had it
I called a couple of days before we left to ask about what kitchen equipment was included, so I didn't miss bringing something. I specifically asked if the pots and pans were in good condition because sometimes motels have old Teflon pans. I was assured the kitchen had fairly new pans, dishes etc. The pans were all scratched up Teflon like pans. The dishes were plastic/melamine. I greatly regretted not bringing my own dishes and pans. I brought ground coffee and found out the room came with Folgers filter packs. I ended up, tearing open the filter packs, tossing the Folgers, and carefully spooning my own coffee into the filter. Also no one mentioned the faucets in the kitchen were reversed. I had thought there was no hot water. My husband figured it out. Also there was a big water project going on just outside the motel. The workers showed up at 7AM to work. That was hard especially on the first morning we arrived since we had been in the car for 6 hours, and needed to get a little more sleep.
