About this house rental
This cozy home away from home is great for large families or groups of friends. This 4bed/4bath two story mountain home was fully remodeled in 2010 with a new kitchen, new bathrooms and all new furniture. The home contains 3 master suites with full private baths, and the fourth bedroom with bunks ready to sleep up to 6.
Our home is located in a quiet pocket of homes nestled between Kings Beach, Old Brockway Golf Course, and North Tahoe Regional Park.
Kings Beach is less than one mile away as a 15 minute walk through the quiet neighborhood. Kings Beach was recently voted the best beach on the lake. At Kings Beach you can rent ski boats, kayaks, jet skis and other water toys, or just relax on the shoreline with a good book. Some of the best lakeside restaurants and golf courses are here, along with shops offering local artist fares. Nightlife at Crystal Bay is 3 miles away with casinos and live music.
Old Brockway Golf Course meanders through towering Jeffery pines with majestic mountain and Lake Tahoe views. Not surprisingly it was rated a Top 10 Golf Course in Northern California by Golf Today Magazine. Old Brockway Golf Course was also home to the 1st Bing Crosby Golf Tournament 1934-1935.
Living within walking distance of the 124 acre North Tahoe Regional Park offers many year round activities. Summer activities include tennis and volleyball courts, baseball fields, children’s playground, Frisbee golf, as well as enjoying miles of hiking and biking trails. During the winter season the park also offers sledding, snow shoeing, and cross country skiing.
Our home is only ten minutes to nearby Northstar Ski Resort. During the winter, free ski shuttles are available from the local Safeway parking lot.
We have made many fond memories in our mountain home and hope you make some of your very own.

This is not a beautifully remodeled property. Everything about it is dated. The walls need painting as they are dirty. The carpet is worn and dirty. We had to hammer the nails on the decks down so our grandchildren wouldn’t hurt their feet. There was limited towels and zero towels in the kitchen. When we arrived the property wasn’t cleaned. They did get the cleaners quickly and paid for us to go have dinner which was kind. We always check under beds when we leave and found others Kleenex’s and just dirt under the beds. There was even a pair of underwear behind a chair that didn’t belong to us. Overall it was very disappointing. It felt dirty everywhere. We were there for our daughters wedding reception and had no choice but to stay. I would not recommend this place unless these things don’t bother you. The location was fantastic and it was very peaceful but it is not at all as it is described.

This house worked so well for our family vacation of 5 adults and 4 kids. The house was clean and very well stocked. Plenty of room, very comfortable beds, and a bathroom for each of the 4 bedrooms which was a plus. Location was great, quiet neighborhood, short ride to King's Beach, Safeway, restaurants, mini golf, and shops. The beach gear provided was great! Plenty of beach chairs, sand toys, and umbrellas. We will definitely book this house again. Thanks to host Lan for great communication leading up to our stay.

We stayed here with another family over NY weekend and had an excellent stay. Plenty of space, very cozy house. In a beautiful quiet neighborhood but just a short drive to grocery stores and restaurants. Hosts were great and replied quickly when we messaged. Would definitely recommend!

Nice comfortable cabin with plenty of space for everyone. Great mud room area upon entry to remove snow gear and hang clothes. Nice big kitchen space. Appreciated the gas fire place in the living room, bathrooms in each of the three bedrooms downstairs. Loved the coded keyless entry! Location of cabin is right off 267, super convenient to northstar ski resort in one direction and Safeway and restaurants in the other. One thing to note: it snowed just a little while we were there and even though 267 was cleared, North Ave wasn’t cleared of the snow and ice. We had an interesting time getting our minivan out of the driveway and up north Ave back onto 267. The second car in our group had all wheel drive and had no problem.

We also loved the location.
They have lots of lake chairs and lake toys …lots of everything.
I just felt the carpets needed a good scrubbing …started to smell funky …
Over all we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time, plenty of room for a big group. The location was great to avoid most of the traffic going to Northstar resort

Wonderful home. We had 9 people staying and there was plenty of room. The house is well stocked and is perfect for kids. Every bedroom has a bathroom. Location is two minutes to Kings Beach by car on a quiet street and close to walking trails. I would definitely rent this property again.

This was the first time staying here. The owner was very interactive when we had a question. The property was easy to find. The home had enough beds to accommodate 3 families plus kids. The living room was a little small for everyone to be in there at the same time. Yhe kitchen didnt have anywhere to put your dry foods. The refrigerator light wasn't working and the batteries were dead in the remotes so we bought some. The rooms downstairs you can hear everyone walking around upstairs the floor creaks very loud. I feel the home could of been a little more cleaner when we arrived. There were lots of spider webs, finger prints on the doors, garbage under the beds and behind the washer. The kids toys need to be gone through, lots of broken toys and garbage in the bins. Our family made the best of it!

This was my second time staying here and we really enjoyed it. Plenty of space for everyone and comfortable beds. I appreciate with the open plan kitchen that the dishwasher was so quiet. We were there during bad smoke from the Mosquito Fire which put a damper on our trip unfortunately as it was really smokey in Tahoe that weekend. This time around we also had to wash and dry all the towels before we left and given that check out was 11am this added to some stress. It would be helpful if this laundry needs to be done by guests before departure that departure be noon instead. This seemed to be a new requirement as I don't remember that last time

I think that under these circumstances of our stay that
I should not have to pay a cleaning fee. These circumstances
are: sand on the kitchen sinks that you cant see that got
in our lettuce and we ate sand. Beer cans and cigarettes on the outside patio. No hot water.and other things via text. thank you

we could not use the bar b que because it was filthy, with meat in it and a glass of grease and also a glass with cigarette butts next to it. the upstairs refridge, would not keep things cold so we had to use the garage one, it was most inconvenience, the a/c never did come on and we followed all instructions to a t. the house was very nice and the bathrooms and kitchen,

Perfect for families-great location
My family with three young children loved this property. The set up of the house is perfect with the mudroom area ready and easy to use. Plenty of hooks, storage for snow boots, and a bench to sit and remove gear.
The upstairs room with the bunk beds has a stocked closet full of toys, books, and games! My children spent all their free time happily playing in their room.
The space was clean, inviting, and perfect for our family. Super close to Kings Beach.

Family vacation
The rental house was absolutely clean and stocked with everything you would need and a great location. Having bathrooms in every room made the home even better. The communication with the owner was always quick and informative. Also the area was nice and quiet but mostly very convenient to Northstar ski resort. We would definitely be back.

Great location, spacious, comfortable
Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Very well stocked kitchen and bath. Enough space for everyone (10) for eating and sleeping. Dishwasher was bit weak. Other than that, excellent stay. Will be back.

Fun ski trip
Snow, snow and more snow! Location was easily accessible and convenient. Although this was an older home, everything was in good working order and there had been noticeable updates in the kitchen. There were four of us and accommodations were ideal - each having our own bed and bath! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and utensils; and it was nice to have leather furniture in the family room. We made snow ice cream, boys went skiing, we rode snowmobiles and ate snow ice cream again! Was very impressed and appreciative with owner’s responsiveness to questions/needs. Would definitely recommend!

A little disappointed
Upon arriving, there were quite a few cobwebs in the entry way. When we entered the house, the smell was overwhelming. Not dirty, per se, but more like mildew. The pictures definitely did not reflect the state of the home. For example, the patio looks lovely in the picture - nicely painted and clean - and that is not it's current state. The paint was peeling and it took 30 minutes to clean before we could use it. It seems that the pictures may old. Nothing looked the same. The carpet was dirty - I walked around in my socks and the bottoms of the socks were dirty within an hour or so. The layout of the home was nice but it was almost too hot to enjoy. There were fans, but even with the backdoors open there was no air flow.
When we first arrived we had to go around removing cobwebs and found quite a few spiders. Behind one of the dressers, there were q-tips and other assorted trash bits. If the home, including the outside, had been thoroughly cleaned it would have been a lovely visit. The location is excellent and the entertainment set up (TV, Internet) was the best we've encountered in the Tahoe area. The TV in the bedroom my husband and I slept in didn't work but the family room TV was easy to use and worked great.

Great week in Tahoe!
We had a great week in Tahoe and this house helped to make it more pleasant. We had 4 couples and a 7 month old. House was just as pictured. The house came complete with all amenities that you could ever need. We cooked/grilled almost ever night. Plenty of room to eat on the patio. The owner was so communicative and easy to work with. Pack and play and high chair were a great positive, they even had some baby toys. The extra refrigerator in the garage was a great plus as well! Minor detail, and not a negative because we traveled with one, but house did not advertise hair dryers, but there was one. Would rent again!

Comfortable
We rented this house in order to get away with our daughter, son-in-law, grand baby, and her in-laws who were visiting from out of state. The house was perfect. We all had privacy, it was clean, and well equipped. The location was great and we were able to walk into town one evening for ice cream. We would definitely rent this property again.

Great for Families
Our family of 4 stayed here along with another family of 4. This house worked great! The kids room with bunk beds had so many toys and was the highlight! Kitchen was fully stocked and was so nice to have so many bathrooms. Was close to Kings Beach and restaurants. You could walk to restaurants - although was a busy street so we didn't do so with children. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We had a wonderful time in North Tahoe and we were very impressed with the cabin that we stayed in.
This cabin has a cozy feeling to it. It's a four bedroom cabin with a bathroom in each room, which we all felt total privacy. The beds were so comfortable to sleep in. The cabin is close to many restaurants, casinos, Safeway and walking distance to the lake. The property managers are awesome and easy to get a hold of. There are bikes in cabin which we utilized to ride around and enjoyed the scenery. I totally recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to get away to peaceful surroundings with family and friends. We will definitely go back and stay here again and will recommend this cabin to all our friends.

Great location, close to Northstar and also restaurant and grocery stores at Kings Beach.
2.5
The cabin’s location was very convenient for my cousins and I. We usually do grocery shopping when we get to our spot and Safeway was right around the corner. For our stay we wanted to go snowboarding and Northstar was about 11-13 minutes away. The cabin has a spacious garage that fits two cars inside and two in the driveway. The front of the cabin is pretty basic because it has close neighbors, who are friendly. But there’s a backyard with nice tall trees if your into take nice snow photos. The top floor which consists of the living room, kitchen, dining table, bunkbed room, bathroom, and top balcony had enough space for everyone to stay and be together. The bottom floor has the remaining three room and their bathrooms, and the washing room. The beds were comfortable and the rooms had plenty of space. The bathrooms were fine. Two of the bottom rooms also have access to the backyard. I personally didn’t go into the backyard, but it was a nice addition since there wasn’t much space in the front to play with the snow. The only issues was if you were to sleep in the rooms on the bottom, you can hear all the movement going on from the top floor. So if anyways wants to sleep early, try to plan for everyone to sleep at the same time. Also, the kitchen sink water pressure was low compared to all the bathrooms which had great water pressure. But if you don’t hand wash dishes, the dishwasher was good. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay here and had a great time.

Excellent rental for a Tahoe getaway
This was a great rental for our group. The 4 bedrooms each with their own bathroom was a plus. That's hard to find in the Tahoe area in this price range. Would recommend for extended families or friends.

Great stay, wonderful home!
Lan (owner) was extremely gracious during check in and helped accommodate our schedule! The property is very well-kept, cozy and spacious! All facilities (kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms) are up-to-date and clean!
We enjoyed every minute of our Tahoe get away, and will definitely be looking to book another trip here!
