This home was excellent

Our family get together ranged in ages from 80 to 22 months and we all enjoyed our stay. The hiking path just beyond the backyard was an added bonus. The location was perfect for everything in the King Beach area. We all agreed we’d rent it again.

The property was in a very good location, it was stocked with many utensils and appliances. The only problem I found was that the back deck was not clean of snow (we like to BBQ no matter the weather), other than that everything was nice. Thanks.

This place was clean and had a lot on items on hand for us to use. We used the beach umbrella and chairs for the lake. It was amazing!

Great House!
We had a great time at this house. It's very clean and comfy, with plenty of room to spread out. Location is perfect, just a few minutes to the beach!

Phenomenal accommodation for our size group
This house proved to be the perfect vacation home fit me and my family. Big enough for us to either Be all together in the great room or separately when private time was needed. Supplies for eating, cooking, sitting outside and inside to Break bread together were ample. Location was ideal, far enough from town to have the woods experience but close enough to hit the beach or dine out in an easy commute.

great for multi-generations but a couple of hiccups
Excellent location and well functioning kitchen (with exception of leaking dishwasher), lots of chairs to fit around enlarged dining table, great to eat meals outdoors and use BBQ. Four bedrooms fit our crowd of 8-9 adults and 4 children. Major disappointment was that trash cans outside were already nearly full when we arrived on Friday (garbage collections
day). We called contact and someone came to collect half of it a day or two later, necessitating a trip to dump it all halfway through our stay. Water company turned off our water one afternoon; good news is a plumber came that evening to get it turned on again.

Great family location
We had a great experience as a family. The house was clean and we'll stocked. A/C would have been nice, but I realize that temperatures aren't usually as hot as we experienced. When the windows were open it wasn't too bad. The location is far enough from the hustle bustle to be quite but close enough to be convenient. Communication with the property management quick and easy.

Overall good experience
Overall the house and neighborhood were very good. The trash bins were a little small for such a big house but the staff helped us resolve that issue. Some of the info like the WiFi info was incorrect so needs to be updated. The setup of the house was nice and the place was very well stocked. I would recommend this place and stay again if back in the area.

Great location to Northstar Resort
I stayed here for a weekend with two other family friends and it was great. The house was spacious, clean and we loved the room with the 3 bunk beds for the kids. The location was perfect to Northstar resort, Safeway, Starbucks and gas station. The reason I gave them 4 stars out of 5 was the miscommunication between the property management and myself regarding the hot tub. When I looked at the listing, the house did not list a hot tub so I was aware of it. However, I received a couple of emails regarding checking in and guidelines and rules for the house that provided mixed information. One email said that we are supposed to bring our own towels for hot tub use if indicated because the towels in the house are not meant for outside use. Then I got information regarding hot tub hours. Hence, I likely thought I must have mistaken about the house having a hot tub. When we arrived, the house is covered with snow so we did not know if the hot tub was hidden under the snow somewhere. I emailed the person in charged of the property and I received a rather unpleasant response insinuating that I must not have looked or read the property listing. I figure if they are sending out generic emails and information for all properties under their management, then they should expect people questioning an amenity that was provided in an email and including in the guidelines and rules of the property. Overall, I had a great time and the property was great for what we were looking for so I would definitely stay at the place again.

Family Holiday
The house is spacious, clean, with excellent arrangement of bedrooms for three families, good cooking space and all the equipement one could wish for. We were two grandparents, two other families with children, it all worked well for us.

This is an amazing location. Just 3 minutes to local restaurants and shopping. The house is easy to find and there was enough space for our guests. The bunk room was enormous, and it was fun for our family and friends to bunk together. I made a big mistake in violating the no dog rule. I accepted responsibility and was informed of the $250 penalty, and I agreed to it also. Even though our dog was only there one night, I still violated the house rule. It has been two weeks and I have yet to finalize the penalty because of lack of communication with Tahoe Rentals. I have patiently waited for my final bill and still no email to confirm total. Also, our dog had been triple coat shed the day before we rented, still we violated the rule, but her shedding was kept to a minimum. There was a neighborhood dog who kept trying to enter the back door throughout the weekend. I would be aware and don't allow him/her in. It seemed very accustomed to the house. According to Tahoe Rentals we have other charges coming but they were only specific to one charge. Apparently, they said that someone threw up in the front yard. All members of our house concur that nobody was drunk, and no one saw any activity of the sort. We had 15 (with help from the neighbors) loading our van and cars full of our belongings. One of us would have easily come across it while loading. It would have been hard to miss. Possibly a neighbor? There was a party up the street around the corner. The house seems to have plenty of toys, but I would ask if they are available to renters. I saw kayaks, chair, and even snow shoes (I think). They seemed tempting, but I didn't want to assume permission. The kitchen is well equipped and modern. What lovely appliances including a five-burner gas stove. The fire place, garage remote, vacuum cleaner, and broom were all not working. We borrowed some from the neighbors (my sister- in-law) two doors down. A guest took a bath upstairs in the master bath and a leak sprung flooding the down stairs. We had to split the ceiling to drain the water out. It looks as if it had been patched multiple times previously. The rest of the house seems dated and musty. It is a mid-80's style. The beds are cozy. There is an abundant number of towels and linens. There was a nice supply of spices in the kitchen. We loved our stay, just didn't connect on all levels. But it was all about the location for us. However, it shouldn't take 2 weeks to close out.Thank you!

Awesome time
The cabin was clean and it had everything we needed. The view from the porch was absolutely beautiful. Location is very convenient. We all had a great time.

The cabin was exactly what we had hoped it would be. We were not disappointed.
Our large family had the best time. All the our kids and grandkids were there and we had plenty to do. We went to the lake and played board games and played corn hole in the yard. The kitchen had everything we needed to make all our meals. We will definitely be coming back.
Thank you for sharing your cabin with our family.

Ginochio Cabin
We had a good time at the Ginochio cabin even though there was a lot of smoke from CA. fires. Now we know what we won’t need to bring on our next visit. There are so many extras not available at other rentals. Games, big pots and pans, water toys and rafts - just what we needed. Also lots of winter toys for the snow. Comfortable, with a nice layout. Lots of space outside for ball throwing, frisbee, and games. Plenty of beds for all - bunk beds are interesting design. Single bed on top and double bed on bottom.

Lake Tahoe Stay
The house was very clean and outfitted nicely. Saw a black bear one morning, exciting for family. Close enough to Lake Tahoe to get to it fast, but far enough away from the congestion of people and traffic to really enjoy our stay. Recommend it to anyone wanting to have a great home away from home!

Lake Tahoe family gathering 2017
this property gave our family time to be together, without trying to coordinate where everyone should meet , as we were all under one roof. we had 4 from Seattle area, and 5 from Minnesota. The table in the dining area handled all of us to eat together, and of course too many cooks in the kitchen was not a issue, as there was room. Like the quick access to the area for the beach, main roads and grocery store. thanks for the wonderful time.

Great place for a large group!
Great property! Good location. Well stocked kitchen with updated appliances. Lots of room for kids and grandkids. WiFi was good, might want to bring along some favorite DVDs if you just want to relax with a good movie. Air conditioning was a little weak, but would book again.

Roomy, comfortable and quick drive to beach!
House was comfortable for 12, kitchen well equipped, and house backed to forest with trails. House was a bit warm during the day with weak AC and few ceiling fans. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Great family fun home!
We've stayed at the Ginocchio cabin many times over the years and it's always a great time! They house is great for big groups, and has a bunk room with three sets of bunks, kids and adults love :) The house comes fully loaded with everything you could need - towels, extra blankets, full kitchen (appliances/utinsils/pots/pans/etc...). The bathrooms are clean and spacious. The location of the cabin is perfect for snow sports and close to the casinos and lake. All in all, we love spending time at the cabin and plan to do so for many more years! It's a great way to spend time with family, immediate and extended!

Great basecamp for King's Beach
This was my first trip to Tahoe, and to be honest 3 nights seems pretty short.
We had my parents, my family, my cousin and his wife, and another cousin and her family all stay here. The place was great for us.
Picking up/dropping off keys was pretty simple. I'd consider this place again if we want to stay on the north end.

Excellent Family Vacation House in the woods
I'll start by saying 2 Families and friends (there were 4 adults and 6 kids) stayed here for a summer vacation. We had a great time. The house is very clean, and roomy. The kids room upstairs is a nice retreat for the kids because it is extremely large, and the kids can watch tv and play games on their own. The location is very close to the lake, shopping , restaurants and activities (both Kings Beach and Truckee) . We took our boat and spent a lot of time at Donner Lake, which has very easy access and is very affordable. There's a beach at one end of the lake for everyone to hang out at while others boat (including skiing and tubing). The house has a nice deck out back that we ate a lot of meals at. This house would be perfect for a large group or small as there is plenty of room for both. The bedrooms are all large, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is large and open to the living room, great for entertaining. We would definitely stay here again.
