About this apartment rental
North End, Luxury Condo apartment. Please be aware that we are taking mostly longer term leases ( 9 months to 12 months).
Our North End vacation home was designed to make us feel like we are staying in a 5 star luxury hotel... it will make you feel that way too. Located in Boston's historic North End and just steps away from the Waterfront, Rose Kennedy Greenway, Freedom Trail, Paul Revere's house & the Old North Church, Boston Garden, Faneuil Hall & Haymarket and Boston Harborwalk ... in the heart of everything. Our home is hidden down a private way leading to a brick courtyard with a bubbling fountain through a passageway lit by lanterns reminiscent of the days of Paul Revere. There is no location anywhere like this in the North End. It offers a remarkably quiet & private retreat from the bustle of city – while putting you within walking distance of all that the North End has to offer.
The apartment has French doors opening to hand made wrought iron Juliette balconies, solid hardwood white oak flooring, stainless steel appliances, wi-fi, cable. The bathroom has a walk-in, glass enclosed shower w/ spray. There are no hotels in the North End, which is the oldest neighborhood in Boston, but a stay in our home at Walsh Place on Clark will make you feel like you checked into a luxurious, boutique European hotel.
* We only take reservation for more than 31 days. We would prefer monthly rentals (meaning from beginning of the months to the end of the months)
* We reserve the right to review the number of guests before accepting the reservation.
Keep in mind we are in a condo building when making a reservation. Our apartments are part of a condo association with rules and in order for us to operate we do have to comply with their rules. Which are noise control in the shared areas and security in the building only. Everyone is welcome as long as they are respectful to the neighbors and the condo rules.
* Please keep in mind also that latest check in time is 7::00 p.m. No late check ins
Note: Once people booked the apartment, we will send an individual contract/ info doc with the details of their reservation ( it also has our condo rules) it is sent privately to an e-mail address for our protections and their guests' protection
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
Check in is between 3p.m and 7p.m NO later than that ( please consider this issue before submitting your reservation.) If sent the reservation knowing that issue you will have to cancel it since we won't be able to cancel it for you.
***Please keep in mind before submitting your request for reservation that all reservation will be approved based on the number of people. Under no circumstances guests will be allowed to bring any other guest(s) to stay at the apartment for any number of nights without telling us before the reservation is accepted and approved by us.
If guests decide to break this rule they will be asked to leave the premises immediately. Unfortunately these are the condo rules and we will make. No exceptions.
Thank you

The apartment came exactly as described in the listing and as shown in the pictures. The alley that it is located in is a beautiful reprieve from the bustle of the city--a fantastic feature considering how centrally located the apartment really is.
The kitchen is large and comes with a full-size dishwasher and oven /stovetop, with plenty of additional counter space. The living room space was big enough to seat four comfortably. The bathroom is spacious with a wonderful walk-in shower. And the ultimate plus is the laundry in-unit! The PRIVATE rooftop is perfect for a cup of coffee in the morning or a libation in the evening.
We stayed here for the summer and found this long-term rental to be perfect for our needs, and competitively priced with the other options.
Caroline & Mark were gracious hosts who promptly responded to any problems we encountered--which were all small. Caroline was our primary point of contact, and met us at the apartment to go over any questions we had and gave us helpful recommendations.
We are so grateful that we got to stay here over the summer and recommend to anyone looking for a long-term rental in the Boston area!

The condo was perfect for my stay and walking distance to my job. The building is quiet and secure. My hostess ( Caroline) went far and beyond to make my stay comfortable. I was sad to leave the place.

Beautiful condo with great amenities. Really enjoyed our stay. Within walking distance of all attractions.

This place was perfect! It is within walking distance of everything. Caroline greeted us with warmth and showed us the ropes for the condo. She even gave us great restaurant recommendations which were spot on!
This is on the 3rd floor but that was fine with us. We needed the exercise after all the wonderful food. The rooftop patio allowed us to enjoy the outside at all hours. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks, Mark & Caroline! Your place is lovely!

We just got back from our long weekend getaway to Boston (first time visiting) and we loved our stay at this condo. It was super clean, nicely appointed, and very comfortable. My only suggestion would be to change out the pillows from foam to something more soft, like feather/down. Everything else was wonderful. The owners are very nice and reservations were simple to make using HomeAway. The condo is in the rear between buildings and in a courtyard. I loved the privacy and quiet that this location provided and being in the North End, it is just steps away from so many fabulous restaurants (and Mike's Pastry). This location is also unbelievably convenient and within walking distance to Quincy Market (Faneuil Market), Boston Tea Party and Ship Museum, USS Constitution, and much more).
If you plan to drive into Boston, there is a parking lot literally down the street (Sargant's Warf) but it is expensive (it is $30.00 per day) but for us, it was worth the convenience. There is also a local market, Golden Goose, also within easy walking distance to the condo.
Other comments - If you considering renting here, you need to understand that this is a privately owned condo on the 3rd floor (walk-up, no elevators) with the surrounding condos being owner occupied. It is quiet here for a reason. There are hotels everywhere in Boston where you can be as loud as you want to be and come in at all hours of the night but this is not one of those places. As a mature, professional couple, we absolutely loved this place and plan to come back next year. Thank you Caroline and Mark!

Close to everything including outstanding restaurants, the harbor ferries, and Boston common. We walked everywhere and when we didn’t, Lyft was easy and inexpensive. 10 minute trip from the airport. Great place to stay and the owners were very accommodating and easy to work with.

This was our first trip to Boston so we were thrilled with the location of the apartment which is almost right on the Freedom Trail. An amazing amount of restaurants and bakeries are just a few blocks away. Despite its location the apartment is incredibly quiet due to being situated in an inner courtyard.
Caroline (the owner) met us when we arrived to explain how everything worked. The apartment is lovely and outfitted with everything one would need. Caroline gave us many tips on restaurants and where groceries and the best coffee and could be found. She was quickly responsive whenever we had questions during our stay.
We hope to return to the wonderful city of Boston some day and would definitely book this apartment again.

We had a great time and we could not have asked for a better location! Caroline was a great help with recommending places to go and how best to get there! We hope to come back to Boston soon and would definitely love to stay at this rental unit!

The owners were very accommodating to our needs and very informative but the only thing was that we did feel like we had to tip toe around because of the other tennants

This is a beautiful third floor apartment in the heart of Little Italy. It is attractive, comfortable and well equipped.

Extremely clean. Lovely private roof top deck. Very helpful owners. The only minus for us was the building does not have an elevator, and our unit was on the third floor. With that being said, my husband and I highly recommend this property.

We enjoy our stay at the condo. Quiet building and yet walking distance to the center of everything. Historic sites walking distance and great Italian restaurants.
Perfect stay.

The property is in a perfect location; the heart of the historical North End. Excellent restaurants, an italian flare , and plenty to do and see. Walking distance to the Harbor, Quincy Market, Downtown and so much more. No need for a car while there. When we wanted to go explore Salem and Cape Cod, we rented a car for the day. We also used Uber a couple of times for the airport and Fenway Park. As for the property, it was clean, new and classy, which made us appreciate and care for it as if it were our own. The owners are friendly and gave us an orientation on the property, and good information about the local restaurants and activities. We were fortunate to land this place for our dream vacation. Thanks Mark and Caroline.

Thanks to Caroline and Mark's communications in advance and at check in and beyond, our accommodations were fantastically accommodating. My only complaint is that it was painful to leave.

The condo was gorgeous, spotless, and had a wonderful rooftop deck perfect for savoring morning coffee so long as you don't disturb very sensitive young professional neighbors who prefer VRBO guests that are not seen and never heard. The front door lock was particularly user unfriendly and a focus for considerable conflict. Overall the vibe was not a welcome one and added a layer of unnecessary anxiety. If you don't like guests, don't invite them.
5.0 / 5.0
Had a great stay, owner Caroline & Mark very attentive, made our arrival comfortable. Nice rooftop deck for breakfast or evening snack. Beds very comfortable, nice to be near the Freedom Trail sites and many great Italian restaurants, Don't need a car. TV basic cable, but not there for TV watching but site seeing. Great for renters who have older children & adults who can climb stairs. I would recommend to anyone who needs rental in the North End!
