Excellent location. Staff was very nice. Room very clean and very attractive/inviting.
It would have been nice if the bathroom were a little bigger on floor space but otherwise the bathroom was bright with newish fixtures and very clean. The kitchen staff in the mornings would talk very loudly in the room on the first floor. They would also leave the main door to the building open and that noise came through too.

Restaurant very good
Room very good
Staff very welcoming
On first floor and the food prep room across from us was noisy in mornings. Also front main entrance door did not fully close on its own as people entered or left. Potential security concern.

Location, location, location. Staff was friendly (carried bag up 55 steps).
55 steps to get to room (unaware until we got there), mold in shower, no extra blankets

Location was perfect, staff super helpful - the fridge in our room was not working so they went above and beyond to always bring ice and cold water
Bed and pillows not so comfortable

Loved the fact that we were able to stay in a place that had two separate bedrooms. The amount of restaurants and things to do around the area we stayed was also a big benefit!
The room could have been made more comfortable if the main room had a couch to sit on in order to watch tv or relax instead of having to lay in our beds. Also would be nice to know in advance how to check in/out or how to contact someone if we needed anything. The hairdryer was dying in our room and i had no idea how to request a new one.

The staff was better than helpful- they were like family. We felt at home with our surroundings and were impressed with the friendliness of everyone.

Loved the location and spaciousness of the room.
The bathroom door didn't close because the shower leaked and had warped the door.

jack hammers working on the building at 7 am. several stairs to climb if you are staying in top floor

Unique experience in the North End. Room was large, Beds were comfortable. Good location near the subway.
Alarm in the entryway began at 9am. As there's no front desk, we called the hotel to address the issue. Apparently the on duty staff person did not know how to turn it off. The alarm continued until we left at 11am. After a late evening enjoying the city, this was most unfortunate. Contacted the hotel to request some type of compensation, and have had no response.

Great location and large room that fit our stay comfortably. Great staff that sent a lost item in the room after checkout.

The location was ideal, in the North End. The manager, Patrick, could not have been nicer or more helpful. The staff helped us unload our car and bring in our luggage. The suite was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was bustling, but we were able to get a good night's sleep. We would definitely stay again.
The stairs were fine for us, but we did not expect them. This is not an ideal property for those who expect or need an elevator.

the location was great and accessible
nothing I didn’t like

The location was amazing, the suite was gorgeous and clean. Loved having the little balcony to sit on.
The lack of elevator to the room was tough with suitcases. The bed was also not particularly comfortable.

Location location location. Smack next to Modern Pastry and a quick walk to multiple locations including the Garden. Mini kitchenette and even a fireplace. Pretty quiet, even on a Saturday night where the Bruins played.
Two headed shower is always nice. Everything clean.
No elevator and we were on the top floor. But I knew that going in. Doesn't hurt to get that exercise after all that eating.

this property was just perfect for our “mom and daughter” weekend. Bricco is located in the heart of Boston’s North End. you can walk everywhere including The aquarium, Quincy Market, TD garden, Boston Commons and Garden, Newberry Street and many restaurants. the key word is LOCATION. Our accommodations were clean, the beds were so comfortable, if we didn’t have a full itinerary I could have spent a day just relaxing in my bedroom. The bathroom was nice sized and the shower water was hot immediately also lovely soaps and shower products. We had a full kitchen with cooktop and refrigerator. the maid service staff was very attentive and there was always someone nearby to accommodate any needs. there is a small coffee maker in the room (you might want to ask what type of coffee it takes if you prefer to bring your own) why would you make your own when there are at least 5 pastry and coffee shops just outside your door. Mikes and Modern are right there. this stay reminded me of being in Europe in a small pied a terre. Things to note 1. you check in and out at Bricco restaurant so there is no front desk if you want a hotel experience, this is not for you. 2. the suites are scattered along the block of buildings. there is generally someone to help you with your luggage if you ask. 3. there are stairs and since it is an historic area, Boston will not allow them to put in elevators. call ahead if you would like a lower level suite. 4. the TV system is difficult to figure out so don’t plan on watching too much TV. 5. I believe there is a telephone concierge service. Patrick is the real concierge and if you call before you get there, he will do everything in his power to to be sure you have a good experience. I can not praise him enough. Our suite was in the small alleyway just next to Bricco restaurant when you get into the alley there is a small area with two picnic tables as well as the entrances to the bread bakery and the Bricco Salumeria or deli BriccoSalumeria.
The TV system. I would replace it with smart TV’s (Roku or Fire)with local stations and let people use their own apps and get rid of that system. I would think it would be more economical for Bricco and much more user friendly to guests. the kitchen could be stocked a bit better including dish soap. Again, there are stairs involved with getting to all the suites. overall though this was a great place in the heart of Boston’s historic district.

Location was so good. However, the service was a way under my expectation. We asked additional waters three times a whole day but nobody came up to us..Even 2 bottles of water were in front of our room in late night. Next time we would rather find a hotel in nearby!

Great location. Comfortable. Was a small issue with hot water that was out of their control and staff took care to make things right. Will stay again.
Stairs if that is a concern for you. Also above restaurants and loud music until about 11pm. Wasn't really an issue with windows closed.
