We loved our short weekend getaway & this property! Our 2 dogs really enjoyed being able to run in the large fenced yard. Stargazing from the hot tub was a wonderful way to wind down from the daily adventures! Will stay again!

A small group of college friends getting together for a family reunion of sorts. The place was perfect for our needs. The kitchen and dining room was a great way to spend time together laughing in the combined setup while the bedrooms were roomy enough for people to have a place to escape and relax for alone time. The property was clean and the kitchen is suited for basic family style meals.

My husband and I stayed there for a long weekend. It was great for the dogs, loved the backyard. Easy to get to town and quiet neighborhood.

Quiet enough to be away from busy areas but close enough to ski resorts and downtown. The house itself is very homey and beds are comfortable. The unit is pet friendly and very close to a dog run.

We found the house very clean when we arrived. No issues with information about arrival so thanks for making that very easy. Driveway/garage was big enough to hold 3 cars which is one reason we rented this house. View from kitchen lovely. Everything worked as we expected from the stove, grill, appliances, TVs and wireless. The upstairs beds (king and queen) both very comfortable. The downstairs twin beds were not as comfortable. We asked that they be pushed together but they were not. The upstairs shower is very slippery and the shower mat helped but warning to future renters to be careful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would rent this house again. It is very dated and could use updating however.

My husband, myself and 2 grown sons spent Christmas Eve through the 27th. We brought our 2 small dogs too.
Nice beds. Linens felt so nice. Well appointed kitchen, room to spread out. Every room has its own thermostat. Couches are leather snd comfy but I was glad we brought throw blankets.
Hosts were very responsive and friendly.
I'd stay here again for sure.

Best features were the proximity to ski/town shuttle as well as a lovely off-leash dog park, and the big fenced yard. Lodging was pretty basic, maybe a little dated (felt a bit like a college spring break rental) for the price. The squishy add-on mattress toppers weren’t a personal preference for any of us but we were thankful for plenty of space, the radiant bathroom floors, garage for gear storage.
The pricing transparency could have been better… I admittedly should have looked more closely at all the add on fees beforehand but am unlikely to return given all these. I paid nearly a rather large (and required) itrip customer support fee, which was NOT trip insurance, and when I did try to call customer support I never reached a live person for answers… just run around calling 7 different toll free numbers, each time connecting with someone who said someone else was responsible. Itrip, Play Travel, Guardian, the host, VRBO… so many parties snagging fees and covering nothing in a real situation of need.

We loved this property. The proximity to the dog park is ideal.

What a cozy cute little place! Our family really enjoyed this house and we will definitely be back! The back yard was perfect for our dogs. The house was very quiet and cozy! The hosts were very easy to get a hold of when we had a question about check in, and checked in with us often! Thank you so much!

Beautiful place, close to everything we needed. The staff was very responsive and helpful. Will stay again!!

Your dogs/kids will love the large fenced back yard. House and location were just right. We had everything we needed at the house.

This property is older, but the interior is updated nicely. It can accomodate 6 people comfortably and has many ammenities. We booked it because our choices were limited for places to stay with dogs, but now we would deliberately choose it for future trips to Steamboat. The beds were comfortable and I loved that there were lots of pillows, blankets, and towels; a roomy backyard and nice clean hot tub; washer and dryer, and more. Check in was super easy as was communication with management. If I could change anything, it would be that the check out time were later than 10:00 AM...11:00 would be preferable. I wouldn't change anything else.

3 generations and a dog had a great time at Whistler Lodge. The huge backyard was an adventure for the toddlers. The off leash trails just across the street led to a lovely secluded pond. We were able to park our car (in the garage!) and not take it out again. The free bus stops right out front, and we took it to town, the ski area, and the rodeo! The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, including the gas grill. The beds were very comfortable, the baths were clean and great shower pressure. The house stayed cool inside, we barely needed to run the a/c units. By a stroke of luck, we were able to sit in the wonderful hot tub as we watched the Perseids meteor shower! We’d all love to return!

Keeps you out of the traffic of Main Street. Description was accurate. House could use a little updating but very functional. Great back yard for dog or just sitting.

We really liked this house. We had our dog with us, and it had a huge fenced back yard for the doggo to wander in while we sat in the hot tub or had dinner on the back patio. But even if you don't have a dog, it would be equally nice - the furnishings and beds were all really comfortable and very clean, there was really no evidence of pets having stayed there before. Everything worked great and the wifi was very reliable. We would definitely stay here again if we can.

My favorite location in Steamboat. Near Whistler park and lots of hiking. Great yard. Clean and comfy!
4.8
The house is in the neighborhood that my family lives in so the location can’t be beat! Close to parks, the path, bus stop: really a great spot. The hot tub was a fun perk!

This property was as described. It was a great home, great location, and worked well to accommodate all of us (5) with two dogs. The yard was wonderful for our pups. The house was steps away from the free shuttle, which worked out well for skiing. Itrip was easy to communicate with and has always been responsive. Thank you!

Nice unit, convenient access to the bus line, across the street from a park for pets. ITrip was very responsive.

We really enjoyed staying at this house. It's an older home (1980) that has a really cozy feel. Really excellent living room area and another den with a gas fireplace. The heated garage was great for our skis and equipment. It is right beside the free shuttle which was awesome. The bathroom had a heated tile floor which was also really great. Plenty of water pressure and plenty of hot water. House was clean and came with everything we needed. We made breakfast and dinner each night. The hot tub was 5 stars. Perfect temp, easy to use, has great jets, and a view of the Gondola. The beds were also comfortable. The couch bed is the older style with the bar, so just be aware it's not the new memory foam style. There are also stairs. Not a problem for us, but just to be aware of.

Easy, clean, comfortable, and convenient. My family had a great stay. We enjoyed skiing and springs locally and plan to stay here again. We even had a starry night in the hot tub! After a snowfall, the front walk and drive way were cleared before we left the house.

Perfect location and amenities for a family vacation - including the dog. Bus stop is steps away, and we used this to travel into town daily. Dog Park is literally across the street, and our pup enjoyed making new friends everyday. We would return to this property

We stayed here for two weeks at the end of August 2022. This is our third rental in Steamboat and our favorite. I would definitely rent here again. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, the outside table and chairs were great, and the yard was larger than expected. Having access to a park right across the street was an added bonus. Although there was a window A/C in the kitchen, we only used it the day of check in. You can just open windows at night and the house stays nice and cool. We traveled with our 35 pound dog who enjoyed the freedom of a large fenced yard. 5 stars for sure!

This was the perfect dog friendly property. Large backyard, close to Whistler Park off leash dog area, minutes from downtown and a short drive to many trailheads. Kitchen was well equipped and having the grill was excellent. We also enjoyed the hot tub!

Great place to vacation with family!
This property is wonderful, especially for a family of 5 with a dog. The yard is so spacious. It’s centrally located and has all the amenities you need for a vacation rental!

This home was perfect for our family of 6 and our 2 mid/large doggos.
We were very comfortable and the large fenced-in yard with the hot tub was quite wonderful. The dogs ran and played and we were able to relax and enjoy them. (Note: This fence is an alternating slat fence so smaller dogs may be able to get through the slats; we traveled with two golden retriever sized and the yard was perfect)
There is a fun park across the street with fun woodsie off-leash area for dogs. (Check out signs or website for season warnings when elk may be in the park. )
The rooms were very comfortable and parking was generous.
The town offers may wonderful restaurant choices and there is tons to do in the area. Be sure to check out Strawberry Hot Springs.
Happy travels.

Amazing week at Steamboat
Our stay in steamboat was fantastic. There were five of us (one dad, three college kids and one high schooler). The house was perfect for our needs and if my wife had been able to come with us would have accommodated one more easily. The property was accurately advertised, well-stocked, check-in was easy, and it was clean. We used the grill, made dinners at the house and used the hot tub every day. Hot tub was clean clear and hot with view of a full moon rising over the ski area as the groomers went to work. So cool. We were there to ski and board, and few things about the property made it a great spot. Close to mountain parking: I recommend using the meadow lot. Free parking and shuttle to base and only about two minutes from the house. Cooler at house: there is a small cooler at the house which was great because we packed lunches and stored them in the lockers at the base. Avoided the crappy ski area food and silly prices. Good dinner or apres ski cocktail hour space. The kitchen and table and living room made for a great space to chill after 9-4 skiing. Kitchen had everything we needed: plates silverware, mugs, wine glasses, aluminum foil coffee filters etc. it was all there. We went to Safeway and stocked up our fridge. Worked out well for our crew. Couple things to watch for: downstairs heat was tricky. One night it was way too hot, another too cold. It was hard to get the right temp. w/ the (aging?) thermostat. Garage ski rack: a couple of times we tried to hang up our skis and had the skis fall out on the concrete floor. We stopped using the pegs on the wall and just leaned them up against the wall. Grill: we had some difficulty with getting the grill going. There is a gauge coupling between the tank and the grill which I detached and instead attached the propane tank directly to the grill and that solved the issue. Might be something the owners take a look at. Think ahead about dinner reservations: we learned the hard way that dinner reservations are at a premium in the high season. If we had to do it again. I would have called ahead for reservations well in advance. Call it getting our travel legs back after two years of COVID!
We do not expect perfection, so these were small things and are more guidance for those following in our footsteps or suggestions for the owners. We had an amazing stay!

Great property just minutes from the slopes. The property mgmt company was so quick to respond to anything we had questions on. The driveway was always plowed and while we found this out too late for all future travelers at the end of whistler road there is a great little park that many other dog owners frequent.
The house had plenty of amenities which we appreciated like an actual sponge, enough dish soap and laundry detergent.
Would stay again!

Location is excellent for getting to Rabbit Ear's, Yampa Trail and Town. We expected 5 adults, two kiddos 8 and 7 years old and 2 pooches. Ended up with just 3 adults and 2 dogs. Would have been pretty tight quarters (and only 2 bathrooms) if everyone had been there.
Very clean on arrival. Well stocked with dishes, cups, flatware, glasses and cooking utensils. If you like to cook, then take all your own staples and spices, foil and storage containers.
