Correct dans l'ensemble

Accueil, petit déjeuner

Obligation de porter des chaussons portés par des gens de passage dont on ne connaît pas l'hygiène, le parking dans la rue alors qu'il était indiqué qu'il y avait un parking à proximité, linge de toilette usagé

De ruime kamer en badkamer

Wat niet in de beschrijving staat van faciliteiten. Schoenen bij de voordeur uittrekken.(op zich geen probleem).geen tv. Geen prive. Helemaal van slag als een lampje brand. Komt dan naar je toe. Geen rekening houdend met je prive. Ontbijt laat te wensen over. Harde geroosterde stukjes stokbrood. Geen brood kaas of worst of een eitje. Oftewel geen ontbijt. Hebben het ook onaangeroerd laten staan. Douchen met koud water.

Chambre très agréable, propriétaire chaleureuse, excellents petits-déjeuners ; tout était conforme à l’annonce et notre séjour dans cette chambre d’hôte était très sympathique.

Terrible hospitality

The room was cozy and big.

The woman who is renting the place is really not nice. First please note that the check in is only from 17:00, which we did not unfortunately notice before. We asked if we could come to drop our bags, which the woman agreed to. When we came, I asked if I could please change, because I was soaked as it was raining. My boyfriend was waiting outside for me and he asked if she could tell him how to find the room later on, because we will be coming late. She waved her hand in the air, so he asked if she could precise. Then she told him quote: "Ce n'est pas un palais quand meme". I asked if I could please use a toilet. She said quote: "franchement ça fait beaucoup ça". So I said I am sorry, but she let me go. Then I hear her through open window: "Madame s'est perdue dans les toilettes ou quoi". I really do not appreciate these kind of stupid remarks. I understand we asked for something "additional", but as a human being, I believe that letting someone change when they're soaking wet and going to a toilet when they spent all morning on the way, is a basic human kindness. After all, you are supposed to be the host. Regarding the breakfast, she made pancakes, which were ok. There was no milk for the coffee, no lemon for the tea. There was just camembert, jam and a bit of fruits, so do not expect amazing breakfast as it says on booking. I suspect it depends on her mood. The furniture on the terrace was dirty, but the garden was pleasant.

The room is lovely, it's very quiet and peaceful with your own private garden area aswell as breakfast area. Sylvie is very helpful and makes a really nice breakfast . The location is great. Very easy to get to the centre by tram. I would definitely recommend this room.

Great location, very close to Tram station. Great room, large and very quiet, nice breakfast.

Room is much larger than usual, with small garden terrace and lots of trees (lots of bird songs in the early morning and evening). Absolutely no city noises, as the room is on the other side of the street (very quiet street anyway). Bathroom is large, with space to laydown toiletery bags (not always the case). Breakfast was nice: cofee, milk, bread and homemade pastries, malmelades and butter, orange juce and fruit... We saw the owner only once at our arrival. She was friendly, showed us around the main common room, bedroom and kitchen, with easy instructions for breakfast. We felt like visiting a friend. Breakfast was waiting for us in the patio every morning as agreed. We had direct access to the kitchen to start the coffe machine and heat up our milk... The location is great, a couple of minutes walk from the Tram line going downtown. We left our motorcycle parked in the street, which seemed safe enough.

A faultless, luxurious stay in great comfort and peace.

Sylvia is an outstanding host: friendly, helpful and communicative. The house has a real 'wow' factor as soon as you enter. Even though you are staying in her home and are made to feel very welcome, you have total privacy in the garden facing annexe. The room (including the bathroom and breakfast/dining area) is surrounded by greenery and beautiful furnishings making the space feel very luxurious and secluded. There was a lot of room to relax, enjoy a coffee...even work on a laptop in comfort. The breakfast was fresh, varied and plentiful - far exceeding our expectations. We really appreciated this being prepared and left discretely in the breakfast area each morning for us to enjoy when we awoke. Central Nantes is very easily reached by a frequent and punctual tram stop at the end of the road. A brilliant stay - we just wish we could have stayed longer.

There is absolutely nothing to fault. Huge thanks for hosting us :)

Great place to stay

We stayed for one night at Sylvie‘s place and really liked it! The apartment has access to a beautiful garden and has a clean and spacious bathroom. The breakfast she provided on the sunny terrace was amazing. It’s easy to go to the city by taking a tram closeby her house. Definitely recommend this place and would love to be back.
