Host super cool!

Octavio e sua mamma sono gentilissimi, sempre a disposizione e ci hanno fatto sentire subito a casa. É stato un piacere essere loro ospiti. La casa é semplice ma ha tutto quello che serve, bagno personale, aria condizionata, buona colazione.

Good vibes, come essere a casa di amici !

La struttura si trova all’interno di un complesso con vigilanza. L’host molto cordiale ci aspettato fino al nostro tardo arrivo ed accolto con una bibita di benvenuto. La stanza era piccola ma molto pulita, e con il proprio bagno privato. La colazione preparata dalla mamma era squisita e ci è sembrato di essere ospitati a casa di amici.

Il soffione della doccia un po’ piccolo ed il getto non fortissimo. L’acqua calda non c’era .. ma è una cosa piuttosto comune nella zona.

Greatest host in a cosy house

The house is cosy, with a lot of nice details and art. The room was simple, but clean, comfort bed, the bathroom only separated by a curtain. But had air condition, fan, and windows. The patio in the back and some chairs in the front of the house are perfect to enjoy the tasty breakfast. The owner was the nices and most helpful host I ever had in my life. He welcomed us with a beer, offered coffee all day long, free water, kitchen to use. Very safe area in a gated community. The public beach is just 2 minutes walking.

Feel like home in Cancun

Octavio and his mother were very friendly and made us feel like home. They provided us with a welcoming beer, tasty healthy breakfast and useful information. They also provided us with beach towels and all the equipment that we may have needed during our stay.

Great and helpful hosts in an interesting area.

The location was cool and low-key. Close to beach, restaurants and ferry to Isla Mujeres. Hosts April and Octavio were very helpful and kind. Had use of the fridge and had a private detached bathroom across the hall from the second floor bedroom. We were in one of three rooms that are rented. Breakfast and coffee were included and was very good.

The only thing that was a bit inconvenient was having to leave the bedroom to use the bathroom.

Welcoming home, worth it if you have a car and looking for a nice beach

We loved staying here as it felt like being in a very relaxing and welcoming home with friendly people which was a nice change from the usual more cold bnbs. The best thing was that we were right outside an amazing more local beach, we went in the morning and there was barely anyone there - we felt very lucky, we also went to a top seafood restaurant as recommended to us which had a beautiful view. We only stayed one night for practicalities but definitely could have stayed more- worth it if you are looking for somewhere a little less touristy.

Getting there from airport was expensive in a cab (MX$1100, after bargaining). Bus options were full for several hours--wish I had thought to pre-book a bus.

Superb

Such a lovely owner! She made me feel very welcome, even though my flight was delayed and I didn't make it to the property until 3am! A lovely calm home very close to the ferry port to Isla mujeres and in a quiet area. And with a friendly pet dog!

Of course the room is not very flash, but that is absolutely in keeping with the price. I really enjoyed my stay!

It was great even if just for one day. Octavio and his mother were lovely.

The staff, Octavio and his mother have been super kind, I even got a lift to the bus station for the airport and wasn't asked for money.

The bathroom fittings are a bit old but no big deal, they were working.

Superb

The owner and her son were so friendly and kind. I was offered a cold beer on arrival and my room had everything I needed (towels, shampoo, adapter, fan) plus I had use of the outside space to relax.

I did get a little confused as the casa was in a private residential area and you needed to call the owner to be allowed in and I didn't have a Mexican SIM card but my taxi driver called the number and her son came to meet us and carried my bag!

great place to stay after arriving in Cancun

Avril was very nice and helpful. She invited me into her house and made me feel at home. It is a nice and peaceful place, away from the city center. It’s near to the beach, some restaurants and supermarkets. She picked me up from the airport and took me to the busstation.

I was warmly met by the Abril at the airport, it was a great introduction to Mexico, her house was lovely decorated with her art and many plants that her and her son Octava cherished, they are truly beautiful people, always offering home made cake & to help in anyway possible.

The room was hot upstairs despite having two fans and the water pressure was very light in the shower
