Great stay and great people at Vico

Marica was absolutely amazing. We had multiple unforeseen problems during our travel and Marica and her family demonstrated such good hospitality and helped us out a lot. One of our large checkin bags was stolen in Rome on our way to the Villa. Marica even offered their clothes to help out. Her relative had a store opened for us to get clothes. Additionally when we had a cooking class and there was a train strike Marica was very helpful in helping us work through alternative options. At a time we were struggling Marica really helped vs the help we got from the police and Trenitalia with our bag being taken.It really helped turn ease the situation for us and help us transition back to enjoying our vacation again. Our kids enjoyed using the pool. We found the accommodations comfortable for our needs too.

There is a 15 minute walk down to the town center and back up to the Villa. It worked okay for us and a good way to work off your dinner :).

A wonderful relaxing stay with very generous hosts.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at Villa Russo. The property was exactly as we expected. It was clean and well equipped with lovely crockery, a coffee machine with plentiful coffee pods as well as lots of various towels and home made lavender soap. The host gave us a basket of goodies which our children enjoyed very much. The hosts were very kind to us, they shared homemade pizzas, wine and lemons from the lemon tree next to the pool.

Great! Highly recommend!

Fantastic hostess! Apartment is equipped with everything to make it a great stay. Also well located for visits to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. Highly recommend!

The traffic on the peninsula is particularly busy.

Amazing stay!

Lovely, clean and well equipped apartment. Has everything you need. The pool is amazing, much bigger and better than in the photos, perfect for keeping cool on the hot days.. Our kids loved it. Vico Equense is beautiful town and great base to explore the Amalfi Coast. Fortuna, Marica and family were so incredibly kind and generous, leaving a welcome food basket and bringing us treats almost daily, they also drove us to and from the bus station on our travel days to and from the airport. Always on hand via WhatsApp with tips and advice for the areas, booked the beach for us too which we loved.. Nothing was too much trouble, we felt like their guests it was wonderful.. We had the best time at Villa Russo, thank you ❤️

Not a dislike as such but just a warning that the walk into Vico can be a little dicey as there are not really any pavements and lots of traffic. So just to be aware, especially if with young kids. Although a few days into our stay we got used to navigating this with our children and it was fine :)

Exceptional

My family and I had a great time at this property. We were welcomed by Fortuna that showed us the house, and we received a “goodies basket” with everything needed for breakfast and other local products. Overwhelmed by the generosity and hospitality of Fortuna and her family. Beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. Perfect location if you want to explore the area but also want to have a quiet and relaxing time with family. Highly recommend. We will definitely come back soon!

Great stay on the Amalfi Coast!

The hosts were extremely welcoming and nice! They left a basket as a welcome gift and they booked the beach place for us!! The house was newly refurbished and comfortable!! And the View was spectacular and the swimming pool was nice.

The access to the property was difficult and narrow for the parked car. The hosts nevertheless offered two parking spaces to help us!!

A wonderful stay in a clean and well equipped apartment.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Russo. The property was spotless and in a safe and clean area. The owners Marica and Fortuna were incredibly helpful and kind and arranged some food for us on arrival as well as helping us book restaurants, beach bookings and taxis all week. Nothing was too much trouble. They even surprised us with beautiful limoncello cakes one day and were available for us constantly with all our queries. They have a beautiful dog too who is quiet but friendly. It is located about 2 mins from a well stocked supermarket. We are looking forward to returning to their kind hospitality one day in a beautiful part of the world.

There was nothing we didn’t like. This is just observations for people to get the best of this booking. It is an upstairs apartment and is also located uphill from the centre of Vico. There isn’t a “lounge” in the apartment but as the weather was glorious we sat outside on our balcony looking over Vesuvius. The pool area is small but perfectly functional.

Lovely stay in friendly safe environment.

Beautiful, bright, large apartment with everything you need. 2 large bedrooms with balconies which are great in the evening watching amazing sunsets. Fabulous pool and amazing hosts who are constantly on WhatsApp helping to make our stay comfortable and surprised us with gorgeous desserts. The accommodation is in a safe gated, secure property, in a lovely residential street. Beautiful lemon tree around the pool. Supermarket 2 minutes away. A really lovely stay.

Only had 3 sun loungers for 4 guests, need another one. The garden space is quite abit smaller than what we thought from the photos. Not really a garden, more a patio next to a carpark, but we were out and about a lot. The road into town is very busy, and abit dangerous when walking, no paths. Probably best to have a car if staying here. We did get buses but couldn't get a bus timetable, don't think there is one. so it was abit hit and miss. Need public transport to get to beaches and tourist spots.

Perfect, thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and Fortuna and her family made it that bit special.

All the rooms at Villa Russo are large and spacious, well equipped with new appliances etc. Its was also spotless! Lovely welcome from Fortuna and her family who made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The villa is conveniently situated just a short drive from the centre of Vico Equense and a 15/20min walk to the train and bus station. Highly recommended.
