Loved the views, the house easily accommodated our family. We had so much fun and so close to Boone. We will definitely come back next year.

We stayed with our varsity high school cross country team. The house was centrally located to all the trails we ran and waterfalls we hiked to! We had plenty of space for all of us to spread out ample space in the bedrooms!

We had a great time. The house was in a perfect location. Just a heads up. The back deck seems have some wear and tear that might end up being a safety hazard in the long run.

The house is a great place but had trouble getting the house code to work. After several minutes of trying, called the property and no one picked up after trying three times. Had to leave a message and got a call back after 10-15 minutes. Paid extra for early check in and had to wait. We had six couples sitting in their cars. Eventually they sent a maintenance person to get the code right. We walked the property and actually found a sliding door unlocked and that’s how we were able to get in. Also the house had no broom and the master bedroom downstairs had a clogged sink in the bathroom. The house itself is a great location and has plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We would recommend even with these two issues.

Family getaway
Really enjoyed our stay in the mountains. Plenty of room and everything we needed for our stay. Particularly enjoyed the large deck.

Roomy house with gorgeous views
Our stay was wonderful. With 12 girls we needed lots of room and that is exactly what this house has to offer. We loved the downstairs den with fireplace, pool table, kitchen and large deck. That is where we spent most of our time.

Unhappy customer
1. Soiled towels were left in the small front ground level bedroom with blankets thrown on top. My mother in law found when she went to grab the blanket. Still there for you to see.
2 the place was very dirty and dusty. The house keepers are not vacuuming or cleaning under furniture and beds. The food crumbs and dust were incredible. The hose needs a deep cleaning
3. Carpet in the master bedroom needs to be steam cleaned. Very dirty.
4 controlling temp from one thermostat is very difficult. One floor would be hot so the other could be comfortable or one would have to be cold
5. Mice found going across the mantelpiece while watching the morning news.
6 deck on top where table is. My son in law is a structural engineer and stated unsafe. We would not allow family over there.
Nice spacious home with beautiful view. and would have been nice if items above were not an issue.

Nice place with great views
We enjoyed this house and it worked for a family of 11. It’s laid out well and has a lovely wrap around balcony with amazing views. Nice fire pit and hot tub. It was clean and downstairs was great for the younger crowd with pool table and separate refrigerator. There was a weird smell downstairs that bothered me, but not all of us. And the house is older than it appears on the advertisement. But it was a nice house and we enjoyed our stay!

Pinnacle View Lodge-Family Vacation
Not a good first impression. There is a smell that seems to come from the area of the master bedroom closet (dead rat?) that was also noticeable throughout the cabin. Once all the windows and doors were open, it became bearable. Housecleaning is almost non-existent. Bathrooms need cleaned thoroughly since mildew, etc. seems to be present. My granddaughter and her husband picked up the beer cans that trailed to the fire pit so we could have a wiener roast. Dirty dishes left in the dishwasher. Called the property manager concerning the thermostat (who said they would pass on to the maintenance manager) but never got a call back. Other than the housecleaning that needs to be addressed, we loved the layout of the cabin and the large gathering room where our family enjoyed playing games and socializing. Close to Boone although the privacy of the cabin made it seem as if we were in a remote area. Loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. If the lack of housecleaning was addressed and corrected, would stay again.

Needs improvements
Great locations! Needs updates and lots of spiders in all bathrooms. Needs to be cleaned better dust in places and dirty towels on door.

Good and bad
I will start with the good. The property layout was great. The 2 kitchen layout was perfect for cooking a big meal.
There is a bug issue. Lots of bug ants They seemed to come in around the sliders
The bedroom downstairs was VERY. Stinky. It must be an ongoing issue as there obviously had been attempts to rectify to no avail.
One issue that was an unpleasant surprise. None of the bathrooms had extra toilet paper. When I complained, the company explained that they supply a “starter” roll?? it took them 3 days to send extra. Ridiculous!!
This property could be so much more with some attention.

Great property!
We stayed here with friends while in town for a wedding. We had kids of all ages with us. The house was spacious and provided plenty of entertainment for everybody. The hot tub was a big hit!

Very family friendly
The property had all that we needed in terms of space, bedrooms, bathrooms, and decks. There were some issues with smells. Main floor master had a strong sauerkraut smell, lower level king-size head smelly closet, and lower level master, had a mildewy smell. None of the smells were overwhelming, but definitely noticeable throughout the week.
The HVAC system did not seem to match the layout of the house well. The loft area was consistently hot, and if the main level was comfortable, then the basement was freezing.
The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and the second refrigerator in the basement really came in handy!
The older teenagers really enjoyed the hot tub, but it to from the very beginning had an awful smell. (everyone showered before and definitely after using the hot tub)
The adults were especially fond of all of the nice deck chairs, including lighters on the upper deck where we could enjoy conversation and the lovely views along with the mountain breezes.

Wonderful time
The location was high with a magnificent view. Everything was as depicted in the photos of the property. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room to move around to play games, watch TV, or sit outside. The fire pit, pool table and hot tub were nice additions to our stay. The management company was very responsive to our questions and quick to resolve any questions/problems that we had. I would recommend this to all.
The lodge is somewhat old - the carpet is worn and weeds are taking over some of the landscape, but that did not interfere with our enjoyment of our stay.

Beautiful Views
Secluded and beautiful views. Although the house is a bit older, it was a wonderful place to stay for our family vacation. Great folks to work with and beautiful location.

Has potential, but needs TLC
The layout of this property is the best opportunity for this location as it has options for large groups to spread out, however it needs serious TLC. Pictures on line are very outdated and not what we found on arrival. The housekeepers apparently need some training on how to clean a house properly, as well as lots of pest maintenance needed. Upon arrival we noticed numerous live ants crawling all over the kitchen counters to the point we could not store any of our stuff there. My group attempted to cook the first night, but the stove was very dirty and caused lots of smoke when using the oven, and of course the exhaust fan wasn't functional. We found issues with pest, including ants, large crickets and spiders all throughout the house, in particular the bathrooms. The management was notified on the 2nd day and only offered to have housekeeping come back in. My group had to spend extra time and money on venturing out due to the fact we did not feel comfortable cooking at the house after the first night. Finally on the last morning, someone was showering on the top floor and apparently there was a leak into the main level bathroom that caused flooding and we were not able to use the main level bathroom on the day of departure. I suggested to the management that i should receive a substantial refund based on the conditions of the home not meeting expectations, but they did not respond to my request. View is great, but would not recommend based on the 3 day experience my group had.

Home for two families with a view
My family and I as well as our friends enjoyed a nice week in Boone, NC. A few minutes from downtown Boone and a short drive to some great hikes. The house was great for two families! A hot tub, pool table and bar area were great for hanging out, but the multiple levels allowed for our families to have our own space. I would highly recommend this house! Oh wait, don’t forget about the amazing view!

Amazing views at the perfect cabin getaway
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin! It was just the escape we needed as friends. We took in the views, enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace, and made some delicious meals together. The cabin was beautiful and comfortable, it had everything we needed!

Awesome mountain vacation
This was a smooth vacation from the very first communications with property manager. They were very helpful and always provided immediate answers to any questions that came up. The views and location of this property were
Amazing and the layout of the cabin served our family well. We could not have picked a better week as far as snowfall, which was so beautiful and “snow” much fun for the young and old! I would highly recommend and hope we can visit again!!

Multi-Family Mountain Weekend
This house was wonderful. Perfect location, less than a mile and a half from downtown Boone but tucked away on top of a mountain. Enough sleeping space for 3 families of 4. Look forward to going back again!

Lovely property
We had a great Christmas at the lodge. Renters in winter should bring sand and salt. It took all of us digging to get out of the driveway.

Awesome stay
My family enjoyed our stay. The property was very spacious and beautiful. Everyday we had a visit from a neighbor's dog. The kids and my 94 year old grandfather enjoyed the company. We had a problem with the heat down stairs blowing cold air. When I called the maintenance man came and was very nice. He fixed it but over in the night it went out again.
The property manager was very nice when I called about the heat. My sister left her blanket and pillow when she called to inquire about mailing the items to her the person was nice.
We would love to stay in the property again if whomever purchases it decided to continue to lease it out. Again beautiful property, view, and sleeping quarter's.

Family Thanksgiving
This place was amazing! With two living areas and kitches our large family was able to spread out and everyone have their own spaces. The rooms were huge! The view was incredible! It was also close to town for getting supplies. You have to remember to bring towels for the hot tub but it had everything else you would want. We will gladly go back, everyone loved it.

Rental Review
The property, home and furnishings were beautiful. We especially loved the amazing view. It had most everything we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is that the housekeeping crew pay a little more attention to the kitchen countertops, the cobwebs, and the hardwood floors. We had a wonderful stay!

Pinnacle View - Breath-taking Views
It's impossible to describe the views from this home. They are absolutely majestic in every direction. We had our sons, their wives, and our grandchildren on our annual family Christmas tree trip. Instead of wandering around Boone, Blowing Rock, and the surrounding communities, we felt more compelled to spend time at this home and enjoy the massive balconies, giving us ever-changing views of so many beautiful landscapes. The home was phenomenal in itself, but the views of creation were so very inspiring. Our family had a life-long memory making trip. We are so grateful for the opportunity to share this majestic home and all that it delivers to those that appreciate the true artistic components of nature.

Great house
The location is perfect. The house itself is a little outdated but it didn't impact the stay at all. The view is amazing. We have stayed at a lot of rentals and it was by far one of the best.

This was a lovely home for a COVID get away. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax.

Amazing location, but lacking in certain areas-
This property has a stellar view and convenient location! The living room is the best place in the house to relax and enjoy the vista. The beds were comfortable and supplies in the home (towels, soap, TP, etc) were plentiful.
However, we felt disappointment with a few things. The house is definitely older than anticipated from pics online- it is dusty and dark- making it feel not as welcoming especially in the bathrooms and basement. The entire basement level smelled very badly- to the the extent that some in our group avoided going down there all together. We really struggled to prepare our meals in the kitchen- no cookie sheets (only a round small pan and an uneven roasting pan) for our cookies or French fries, only 1 measuring cup to be found, no beaters for the hand mixer, and ants on the counters throughout our stay. We cooked all our meals and it was a challenge- not what we hoped for at this price point. This property has potential, but fell short for us.

Cousin Reunion
Our stay at Pinnacle View Lodge was relaxing, and the house had plenty of room for all of us to enjoy being together without being crowded. The views were spectacular! If you are older and somewhat handicap, which many of us were over 60, the toilets proved to be challenging because they were VERY LOW! It would have helped to have a pull-up bar next to each toilet. There were also lots to spider webs hanging from lamps and light fixtures, which during this Covid-19 time made us question cleanliness. We did have a problem when using the hairdryer on the last day, which made the lights go out. The kitchen was adequate and had plenty of space for us to cook together. Maintenance was quick to respond and genuinely nice about being called.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay at the Pinnacle View Lodge.

Wedding trip
We stayed here for my sister’s wedding that was nearby. It was perfect for our large family! Absolutely beautiful views, we spent a lot of time in the deck. If you are traveling with infants, they have a high chair! That was a very pleasant surprise. Only negative was that the heat and a/c was hard to regulate between upstairs and down. But we would definitely stay here again 😊

Pinnacle View Lodge
The house is in a great location and has amazing views. The upstairs and the main floor are lovely - well decorated, large and open. We appreciated having a hot tub, pool table and gas grill. The downstairs is nice, but has a very distinct bad smell like animal urine. We tried airing out the lower floor several times, but as soon as the doors shut, the smell returned. If it were not for the smell on the bottom level, it would be a great house.

Had a great experience here. Snowed everyday we were there, but was happy to see that the road to the cabin is cleared, and driving down to town was no problem. Loved the cozy and remote feel, even though the house is actually fairly large and very close to Boone. Gas fireplaces inside and a nice fire pit outside kept us warm. Neighbor's dog came over several times, she was a treat to watch running around in the snow. Great time had by all.

We had a great time and loved the house, the only thing that I would say needs some attention is the lack of shower curtains in a couple of the bathrooms. There were cloth curtains but no backing to them to keep the water in the tub.
