Beautiful home! It was Super spacious; the beds were comfortable, sleeps 17 no problem and the house is clean. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow but that is okay. Did not get a chance to use the hot tub but it looked nice! Overall, I would definitely book this place again, the trail and river behind the property is so fun! Thank you for a great trip

Everyone had a great time. Lots to do at the cabin. When we got there the dishwasher was broken but they were there the next morning with a new one. I was in more saws with their promptness.

had a great time house was great
only complaints
1) ceiling fan in theater room had about a inch of dust wouldnt want to be the one to turn it on
2) fire pit further from house then i thought
3) no fire wood provided for outside or inside
would be 5 stars except for having to bring firewood

To get hold of the host was really difficult, i messaged them couple times trying to inquire information, barely heard anything back. When we got to the house, checking in was easy. The house was fine and clean except for one bathroom downstairs which the toilet was dirty. The dishwasher didnt work properly and we had to wash everything by hand, washing dishes for 15 people was not fun. And the oven didnt work properly either so cooking food was really difficult. Im not happy that we had to go through so many struggles on christmas eve and day because I brought my family to have a good time and cook and eat good food. Next time you can list that your oven doesn’t work properly so people could come prepared and also the dishwasher, big bummer for the price that is listed. definitely wont book with you again

We had the best time here!! We were a large group so we also rented the house right next door and it was perfect. We loved the giant kitchen where everyone could be together and eat together and the hot tubs! Deff would recommend for big groups looking to have fun.

Absolutely a bachelor party house
We had a great time at the house! Location and size of the property were great. The two decks were perfect for hanging out on, we especially loved the peaceful back deck where you could hear the river from. The hot tub was wonderful.
A couple notes about the kitchen... just be sure to wash any utensils or pots/pans before using, and also, the oven did not get very hot, even when cranked up to 450 degrees. The electric burners were fine. The grill was fantastic!
We were unfortunately a bit disappointed with the basketball court, as that was a key feature for us booking this house. When we arrived we saw a huge hole in the backboard where someone seemed to have thrown a large rock through it. It was still usable, however, you just couldn't use the left side of the backboard...Additionally, the entire hoop/pole was easily movable, so after just a game of knockout, you'd have to readjust/center the pole. Again, totally usable, but just a bit beaten up. One last thing about the court, there's one corner of the court that was pretty beaten up and it was just exposed pavement. Again, a minor issue that we were able to deal with and still play on the court, but worth noting, I think.
I would recommend taking an SUV or vehicle with good suspension, as the small back roads leading to the house were a bit rough.
All in all our group had a fantastic time! It is a really cool house with a ton of things to entertain the group and large rooms and spaces for hanging out in. I'd definitely recommend this house for a bachelor party! Thank you for having us!

Great Retreat Cabin
This cabin was awesome for our group. It was just far enough away from everything to let everyone enjoy just being with the group. Everything was clean and well maintained. Property managers were quick to repley with any concerns or questions.

Loved it!
Great stay. Place was clean and looked just the pictures. The area has a parking lot just before the entrance where you may park/leave your car in case you feel it is unsafe or your car may not be able to make it out. Area was nice as well and majority of the things needed were in driving distance (alcohol, grocery, gas, etc.)
Must recommend.

Some Issues, but overall recommended.
This cabin is spacious and large enough for all of our family to gather for my mom's 90th birthday. The house is open concept with lots of seating for a big group. 3 comfortable couches in both the main room and in the room with the bar make it perfect to enjoy conversations with family/friends. The kitchen had plenty of space and cookware. The french door refrigerator only had 1 shelf in the door (all of the others were missing) and this limited fridge space. There was also a hoard of large ants in the pantry, so we were not able to use that. The rental point of contact (Christine) was very nice and promised that she would come over to take care of the ants during our 5 night stay, but never made it back. It would have been nice to have had a can of ant spray at the cabin. Other than the ants, the house was clean when we arrived (and we left it as we found it).
The basketball court out front was a great spot for the younger generation to play hoops. The net was very old and falling off, so we had to buy a new one. The front deck has a nice table with umbrella and chairs. It was sunny most of the time on that side of the house. The gas grill worked great. The hot tub was large, clean and fun for all ages. The back covered deck is a great spot to stay cool and the roof keeps off any rain.
The bedrooms were all comfortable and spacious. It was nice that sheets were provided. Towels are not included, so we brought our own along with toilet paper. Soap dispensers were in each bathroom which was nice. The only problem there was that only 1 light bulb was in each of the upstairs bedrooms, making it very dark both in the daytime and at night. The bulbs were a special kind and Christine promised to come back to replace them, but never did.
The location of the cabin and the privacy were great. There is plenty of space between the nearby houses. There was also parking for more than 6 cars. The trail below the house was gorgeous and it was fun for the young adults to scale down the hill to the river. One of our guests brought a special repelling rope that they could tie to a tree to facilitate going down the steep bank to the Lehigh River. Town is close by if you need to get ice or groceries.
The only other problem we had was that the arcade game was not working. Christine did not return to fix it. It would have been nice to have that operational.
Overall, we had a great time and would recommend it.

Decent rental
Second time staying at this property. First time was great this time so so.
Firstly the property owner is incredibly hard to get in touch with once all payments have been squared up (still trying to figure out where to send a copy of my license so we can get our security deposit)
After a stay it would be wise to inspect the property because when my group and I showed up the bottom basement door would not lock even tho it had a key code on it. Open and close freely. There were wrappers and boxes in the woods behind the house, anyone could spot them out.
The refrigerator was dirty and smelt horrendous, a cabinet was missing a door, the igniter on the grill did not work and there was obvious burns in the wood in the deck.
Sleeps a lot, beds are ok the couches are better in my opinion.

Family Break
The house was perfect for keeping all the kiddos happy. The basketball hoop was a hit and it was great to have all the indoor games downstairs for the one day we had rain. I would not say the kitchen is well equipped for the family that wants to cook instead of going out. We luckily planned for that after reading other reviews. It was a nice quiet property and we loved the easy access to the Lehigh Gorge trail. Super easy check in and check out and I only had to call once with a question but get the feeling that any situation would have been attended to quickly. We could not find a pull out couch in the theatre room that is listed as a 5th bedroom but we brought a few air mattresses for the kids that did not want to “bunk” with their siblings in the bedroom. Overall, we had a good time.

This is more of a party house than family house.
The cabin is pretty close to neighbors on both sides and the cabin on one side was partying hard day and night with loud music. The property manager was helpful in getting them to quiet down, very nice and responsive. The advertisement wasn’t updated so our kids had to sleep on the couches because the pull out couches were gone (the property owner was responsive as well and gave us a late check out). The beds were very uncomfortable and the bedding (especially comforters) need replaced. There was only one flat pillow for each person on the bed. At the end of our stay when we pulled the sheets off, the mattress protector had a very gross brown stain on it and we found out the pillow top mattress we slept on was flipped upside down and we were sleeping on the springs. I’m guessing the other side was badly stained and they flipped it but it shouldn’t be used that way. Vents and ceiling fans and floor vents were caked in dust. No tv’s in any bedrooms. It seemed like people had probably partied pretty hard in the house and it showed. For the price, it did not live up to our expectations.

What a great getaway!
My friends and I had a fantastic New Year’s celebration at the cabin! Sleeps plenty and overlooks the water. All necessities were included and we loved all of the games in the basement. Can’t wait to come back!

Nice location on the Lehigh River canal trail, we enjoyed family walks on the trail. Plenty of space to spread out in the house, and we liked the arcade and the hot tub was ready to go when we arrived and nicer than the pictures. Unfortunately the property needed better cleaning inside, many ants and mouse droppings. We also found the larger mattresses to be uncomfortable for 2 people. The twin size mattresses were fine.

I stayed in a property last week, it has taken me a few days to calm down. After the first night I wanted to leave but my kids were having fun. I spent the first two hours of the visit cleaning down the counters and tables etc. as they looked dirty. I brought Clorox with me. I did not call the owner/management company until I had questions on the hot tub. Two hours after we arrived it was still at 64 degrees, so I called the number in the book. They advised they drain the tub and refill it, I asked what temp was when they left, they said 60. The hot tub was not operational until the evening of the second day. The person I called hung up on me as I mentioned the property was dirty. She said I called it filthy – I did not, and she took it personally as she had worked for 5 hours cleaning. It certainly did not look or smell like it as it smelt of bacon, the pans were still in the dish drainer. After I cleaned the place smelt more like cleaning products. I also mentioned that there was a very large brown spider in a substantial web on the porch – I was told they were not responsible for cleaning outside. We ended up killing the spider as we were afraid of it biting someone. After this conversation and being hung up on, I did not see the point in calling them when that first evening at 2am I heard noises in the house. We have a small dog and her food bowl was still full of dry food. I got up out of bed and didn’t see anything. I woke up an hour later to noises and looked with my wife. The food bowl was empty, we then saw mice running across the floor. I wanted to leave in the morning as I do not like mice, but my wife and kids convinced me otherwise. I went out and bought traps and killed 3 mice (have pictures). They have an infestation and this needs to be resolved as I am worried about haunter virus. You could also see droppings and found many all around the inside of the property, a lot in the basement where it looks like mice are eating away at plastic in the TV area. One of the bedrooms in the basement had a very strong odor, like cats but could also be mice. The property has an Ant problem. They were climbing the walls into the trash, in the dishwasher even after having been on, in the sink, all over the kitchen. It is a disgusting property, not clean, and should be reported to the health authorities. Also the passcode for the back door is easy to guess, I would suspect its not changed or rotated from one stay to another.

Great getaway!
The home was spacious and just as depicted. A fun game room in the basement that the kids played for hours. We loved the hot tub and the fire pit! The inside was very clean! Great location and close to wonderful hikes.
The only small complaints was that the outside wasn’t very clean - the tables, patios, etc.
Wonderful stay. Would highly recommend!!

Great place for all ages!!
The house was very clean and well maintained. There are labels all over the place to help with light switches, and signs explaining how to work remote controllers and wi-fi. The game room has an option for every age, and the hot tub was ready to go as soon as we arrived! The basketball half court was the main attraction for us, and the river that passes behind is not accessible by foot, but there's an awesome trail you can go for a walk or ride a bike that has a nice view of the river. The owners respond quickly to any questions, so we didn't have any communication issues. Would definitely stay again!!

Surrounded by Family
If it weren't that we were gathered as an extended family, the retreat would have been kind of mediocre. We did like all the games available to play with the 2 kids (pool table, shuffleboard table, basketball, etc.), but the electronic dart board was missing most pieces. The trails adjacent to the house were fun for hiking and riding bikes but the access to this was very steep and harder for the kids to manage.
The house wasn't as clean as we would have liked, despite the claim that the extra hour later for check-in was for sanitizing for Covid. The handrail to the downstairs, for example, felt a little sticky so I wiped it with a Clorox wipe and it was horrible. I went through the house and did the touchpoint of light switches, etc. and it was definitely not super-clean. We also had a couple issues with mice.
The kitchen felt slightly under-equipped. Plenty of dishes and pans but lacking things like a can opener and decent size cutting board. Minor things, but the stay would have been more enjoyable if ease of food prep were better.
In all, we did enjoy ourselves, but most of that was just getting to spend time with kids and grandkids.
