Overall we enjoyed our stay in this spacious villa. The location was ideal for us, the views and sunrises are stunning, very peaceful. Just what we needed.
We did feel it needed a few extras such as hand wash at the sinks, a mirror in ensuite, showers aren't great, either scalding or cold but manageable, there are no wine glasses and as food is to be cooked in foil trays, more than one would have been helpful. The villa does require some maintenance, some tiles under the pergola are a trip hazard, the pool filter cover is broken, the parasol is broken, the solar lights no longer work and the weeds by the back door needs attention. We were asked not to feed the feral cats but half of the butter dish was outside the back door when we arrived and you have to be quite vigilant when opening the door as they are waiting there to be fed.
The pool turned all the white parts of our towels and swim wear green. We did contact the villa manager who sent the pool guy out and asked us not to wear sun cream when in the pool. This meant we used the pool considerably less than we would have liked!
Air con is on two hour timers, which in August when menopausal was no fun during the night but no one else found this a problem.
The king and double beds were comfortable, with clean and comfortable bedding already made up on arrival. Extra warm bedding available if needed. Everywhere was clean and homely but the maintenance and little extras would have made it!

Very happy with the villa and its location. All was clean and well laid out. Pool was cleaned regularly and well maintained. Internet worked well and al the facilities inside. Outside area offered great options as to where sit and relax and view was great. Thank you

My family had a wonderful stay at this property. It was a great size and very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Communication from the owner and manager were outstanding, the info sent before the holiday was really helpful and when we had a slight problem it was sorted extremely quickly. We couldn’t have asked for more. Would highly recommend 😁

Great facilities provided, brilliant communication from start to finish with Sarah. Everything was exactly in place as explained in the welcome pack. The villa is emasculate throughout. I would definitely come again.
Thank you.

This property became our home for two months. The home has every amenity a family would need. The swimming pool was a great hit with everyone who stayed with us, friends and family. It was wonderful to get into the pool after a hot day of visiting Cyprus's highlights as well as taking evening swims. The view of the sea when waking up in the morning, sitting outside and enjoying morning breakfast, the clear skies with stars at night, and the evening breezes help you fall in love with the location. We were captivated by the goats and sheep that walked by, searching for weeds to munch. All this, along with a responsive, friendly, and helpful property manager and a pool man. Both made our stay comfortable throughout our weeks at 6 Lordos Byron.

Second visit.
A fabulous house for a family/ friends. Spacious, light and airy. Excellent pool and fantastic views across the Pissouri headland. Brilliant for stargazing and sunrise and sunset.
House well-maintained in terms of basics - feels lived and not just a holiday property for rental.

A great place to enjoy and unwind
Excellent location with great views from all seating areas.
Excellent large pool (20x40 feet approx) and all the amenities you could need.
Convenient location for Pissouri village, it’s restaurants and good large supermarket. Only twenty minutes from Paphos or Limassol and an easy scenic drive up into the Troodos mountains. Plenty of excellent beaches within easy reach. A great place to stay all round.
Would recommend this villa without reservation. We had a great time there. A place to enjoy and unwind.

A lovely well equipped house
We felt comfortable and safe here. The house was well equipped and well located. Easy 20 minute drive to the beach. All roads were great. Supermarket is an easy driving 10 minutes away in the car with everything you need and small grocery stores along with many restaurants in the village in between. The instructions for locating the property are good and very detailed. They need to be followed very closely to avoid arguments! Cyprus has everything you need for a relaxing hot holiday in the autumn. This house isn’t quite 5 star in luxury terms, and that’s reflected in the very reasonable price, but it really isn’t far off and it ticks all the boxes: huge pool, sea views, a bathroom for each room plus an extra loo, bbq, well equipped kitchen, peace and quiet. We didn’t need any aircon because of the lovely sea breeze but it was there for hotter months. We will definitely return and would certainly recommend this place friends and colleagues.

Fabulous
What a fantastic time we have had in this beautiful villa and village. This is our 3rd villa in Pissouri and the standard gets better and better. This villa is brilliantly positioned for amazing views and peaceful evenings. It is very well equipped and the high ceilings add to the spaciousness of the rooms. The fact that every room has its own bathroom certainly prevented any family disputes. We will certainly visit again. We are missing it already!!

Lovely holiday, second time in the villa!
This was our second time staying in the villa, we liked it so much the first we knew we would want to come back again one day! It is a large and well equipped villa with a lovely well sized pool, lots of pleasant seating areas and some beautiful sea views. It is a bit isolated but with a hire car you can easily reach local supermarket, beaches and everything you need really. We did have trouble with getting hire car into the drive as it is quite steep (and grounded the car!), we were able to park outside instead though, and a higher wheel base car probably fine.
Places we visited Avidmou and Kurion beaches are great. Pissouri town has many lovely restaurants, we visited Vrakas tavern, Bunch of Grapes and Platea tavern. Had a fabulous boat trip at Latchi too.

Incredible holiday in a beautiful spot
From booking the holiday to leaving, our experience with the owners and manager were brilliant.
The villa and pool are both spacious, clean and dreamy.
We had a fabulous 11 days doing a bit of sightseeing, beach days, pool days and eating in the local tavernas. We love the square in Pissouri.
The beach at Melanda is just beautiful.
Our highlight was the Blue Diamond boat tour to the Blue Lagoon from Latchi Harbour.
Highly recommend this villa.
Thank you 😊

Very nice villa, great views, but had some pretty unfortunate issues with water and electricty
Sarah was pleasant to work with and we thank her for allowing us to check out late.
The villa is very nice and spacious. 3 en-suite bedrooms, large kitchen, nice living room, a great pool, and beautiful sea and mountain views. The villa is located at the top of a hill, which provides for both views and privacy (it's a 6 minute drive through narrow streets from the highway, as you get to Pissouri). Note that you'll need a car. Ample storage space and linens and bath towels are provided (but not beach towels).
Sadly, the issues we had managed to cloud our experience - hence the 3.5-star review (which we very rarely give).
Upon checking in we discovered that there was no water running in the entire villa! Our numerous attempts to contact the local manager were unsuccessful (which defeats the whole idea of having a local rep, who knew we were checking in and did't bother to respond). Luckily, the owner responded about an hour later and guided us on how to locate a switch box outside and turn back the water on. A great start to our stay. Sadly, the same issue happened a few more times, though at least we were used to the switch box drill. Thankfully, the owner had a new water pump installed and the water issue was finally resolved. Oh, and apparently this had happened to the guests before us, but it was not taken care of.
And if that wasn’t enough, on our 3rd night we had a power outage! This time: no water and no running water! The manager responded (yay!) after about 30 minutes saying that “these things happen in Cyprus and the electrician will come in tomorrow”... Really? Cyprus had nothing to do with it as the neighbors all had power.
At that point we were all ready to pack up (in the dark) and check into a hotel with running water and electricity! It was a true nightmare!
Luckily the owner instructed us to find yet another switch box as “this happens every now and then at the villa and all you need to do is bring the switch back on”. Really? If this is something that happens every now and then, why not include the info in the very lengthy instructions packet?
Needless to say, we had additional power outages but were well versed in the switch board art.
Finally, the villa is advertised as “AC available in all rooms”. True, though the AC is limited to 30/60/120 minute intervals, which caused us to wake up every 2 hours, every night, sweating, to turn the AC back on. If you’re used to sleeping with the AC on, please take this into account.

Relaxing
Great place to relax and unwind. The villa provided everything, both inside and out, that we needed to have a great holiday. The veranda and pool area gets the sun all day long but also had shade areas to escape if required. The pool was nice and big allowing you to swim or just cool off. We made full use of the charcoal grill enjoying a number of BBQs. Car needed if you want to travel further afield.

Amazing place!!
Loved your villa as soon as we walked in, definitely has the wow factor. Beautiful house, set in a lovely area with the added bonus of a pool. A few wee things missing ie light bulbs but that will most definitely not stop us from staying again we loved it! Missing the place already :(

A well equipped villa with beautiful views.
This was our first trip to Cyprus with 3 of our own teenage children plus a friend. The villa was in a small development which was very quiet and private and with beautiful views over the bay. It was well presented and very clean with good facilities. Each room had an ensuite which is brilliant with teenagers. My son is training to be a chef so he particularly enjoyed the well equipped kitchen. We all enjoyed the pool, which was usable even though it was in October and in fact we were glad of the elevated position which meant that even on the hottest days the villa was a comfortable place to be.
It has the wonderful combination of being private, quiet and slightly isolated but also positioned within easy access of all the major attractions of the surrounding area. The village has all the facilities needed.
Throughout the booking process, the owner was always helpful and friendly and responded promptly to any requests. We would definitely like to come back to Cyprus and would have no hesitation in booking here again

Great villa with lovely pool and facilities
We loved our stay at the villa in Pissouri and would recommend it. Everything we needed was provided (we particularly liked the ice machine in the fridge to keep the sundowners cool!) The pool was a great size and kept clean. The view over the bay is gorgeous.
At 2k from Pissouri village, the villa is a little far to walk if you aren't used to it but the quiet location meant it was nice and peaceful and the night sky full of stars is amazing.
We travelled with a small baby. The owner Sarah really helped out as she arranged a cot for us. She also provided a breakfast welcome pack, we felt she genuinely cares that you enjoy the villa and have a fantastic holiday. We took a long time trying to decide where to stay but I'm really glad we chose this villa!

Semplicemente deliziosa, simply delicious

A beautiful villa in a lovely location
Our party comprised three couples (late 40s to late 50s) who wanted a relaxing holiday with nil hassle, close to a village and its amenities but also discreet from the village proper - this property ticked all the boxes. The location is perfect and is just a short walk (or early morning run!) to the village centre. It enjoys great views over Episkopi Bay and the Akrotiri Peninsula and also benefits from any breeze that may come up off the cliffs.
To say that the owners have thought of everything their guests would need is an understatement, they have clearly thought long and hard about what people will need throughout their stay and have provided it in spades! Previous reviewers have mentioned the spaciousness of the property and it really is impressive, the outdoor space wraps all the way around the villa with plenty of space for everyone to find their own little area for reading or just relaxing - with plenty of outdoor chairs and beds and some beautiful plants. The pool is superb and a welcome respite from the heat of the day, particularly after a drive down from Troodos.
The bedrooms are all en-suite and air-conned, they are spacious and have plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, whilst the kitchen and lounge areas are very comfortable (although we actually spent most of our time outside).
Pissouri is a lovely hill-top village and offers plenty of choice for al fresco eating and drinking and also has a couple of mini-marts in the village centre and a larger, well -stocked supermarket at the bottom of the hill. There are good beaches nearby and although Pissouri beach is nice and quite close, Curium beach is only 15 minutes away by car and is well worth a visit, as is nearby Evdimou beach.
All in all, we had a wonderful holiday made all the more memorable by our stay at this outstanding villa. All six of us would highly recommend the villa and the location and, as someone who lived not far from Pissouri for 3 years in the 1980's, I can certainly confirm that it is one of the more 'special' parts of the island of Cyprus. Enjoy!

Clear Skies and Tranquility
The house was easy to find following Sarah's directions - would not have been so easy otherwise! The area is very quiet and the outlook from the house is stunning - open, rolling countryside and beyond the crisp line of sea meeting sky. We were blessed with very good weather during our Christmas stay - only a little rain and mostly clear, deep blue skies. Wonderful for star-gazing - even though it was rather chilly at night! Walking in the vicinity is also pleasant.
The house itself is very well appointed and clean. We unfortunately had no internet or television for our entire stay - this was no fault of the owners, simply local work going on before Christmas that didn't get fixed during our stay. Our local contact was very quick to come over when we called about the internet, but there was nothing he could do. We found that many restaurants and cafes had free Wi-Fi, so it was not a big issue.
The location is also good - easy drives to bigger centres like Limassol and Paphos, but with a good supermarket nearby. We also drove into the Troodos mountains and saw snow and a very different atmosphere to the coastal resorts. I highly recommend taking a drive up there. Mostly we just stayed around the villa and cooked for ourselves - it was nice just to have a quiet time, sitting outside in the warm sun, reading books and drinking the excellent local red wine!
Sarah was immensely helpful in the lead up to our stay - we were not coming at the most convenient time or with a lot of notice, but she got us a booking for Christmas lunch and was very helpful with all our queries. We would definitely return again to this villa and have already recommended it to friends as a great getaway if you want some peace and quiet! I can imagine it is even better in the warmer months when you can use the pool!

Great house
We had a great family holiday in this large and beautifully furnished house, with a fantastic view over the sea. Great pool and not far to the beach at Pissouri Bay either. Pissouri is a genuine Cypriot village with lots of good restaurants and friendly locals. We can recommend the Pancake kiosk in the square too! We would love to return.

ANOTHER WONDERFUL VISIT
It was a delight to spend another wonderful week in this villa. We found everything as immaculate as on our first visit two years ago. The owners of this house have created a very welcoming atmosphere in a wonderful location. It was such a treat to sit on the terrace and see the sun set over the sea. The amazing new barbeque was a real bonus but we also enjoyed the exceptional restaurants and bars in the nearby village of Pissouri.

Its so good we've been back twice!
We first stayed at the villa in 2009. My partner had been to Cyprus before and was keen to show me some of the areas around Pissouri, so we hadn't expected to spend a huge amount of time in the villa itself. How wrong we were! It is the perfect getaway. With views straight down to a stunning sea, a very inviting pool and lots of lovely space to relax it was a struggle to tear ourselves away! We actually bbq'd and cooked at the villa more than going out!
We did make it into Pissouri village a few times of course, and an incredibly lovely village it is. Very cypriot, with a good selection of good restaurants with good food. We made it down to the bay where we spent some very relaxing days dipping in the warm sea with the occasional 'Rambo' ice cream (if you can find him - you must try it!)
We had a car and went up into the mountains on one of the days. It was a very picturesque drive just a few hours from the Villa (and even had ski runs for when it snows in the winter!)
The second year we went (2010) the Villa had accumulated a few more books (that we delightfully swapped and read through) and a few extra lillos for the pool - which came in very handy as we had taken a couple of friends there.
We had plenty of room with 6 couples in the villa and could sit and relax on our own balconies if we wanted or could make use of the suntrap area around the house and pool.
As there were a few of us we took it in turns to cook large meals, especially at lunch (which the Cypriots have the perfect weather for) and found the table at the back of the house under the shade a perfect spot to digest with a cooler breeze.
Very clean, very comfortable, extremely relaxing, good wifi, english plug sockets, a fridge that delivers ice, and stunning scenery. This really is a great place to stay. We are already planning our next trip back.

Villa needs thorough clean and maintaining
We visited Pissouri in July for the 5th consecutive year having stayed in some wonderful villas in the bay, Aphrodite Hills & also the village. Unfortunately this villa was not up to the standard we have previously encountered. The air conditioning is less than effective in the upstairs bedrooms and the villa itself was very dirty on arrival with thick clumps of hair left in the showers and bathroom sinks. The laundry on the beds was stained and very worn and there was grit underneath the sheets on the mattress protectors. Outside there were only 3 sunbeds in working order and the garden is slightly overgrown and unkempt. You may also find if you hire a car that you are unable to park it in the shade as the owners leave their own vehicle under the carport whilst they are home in England. There is a fixed parasol at the side of the house but nothing on the veranda overlooking the pool to use for shade. The windows were also very dirty and in general the whole house needs a good thorough clean. We also had trouble in connecting to the internet during our stay and had to make trips up into the village each day to catch up on e mails etc. Pissouri is a wonderful place with the choice of more traditional food in the village area whilst there is also good dining to be had in the bay, the Limonika in particular serves excellent food. If you are staying in the village you will need a car to travel to and from the beach, there is also an excellent supermarket on the main road into Pissouri which sells most things needed for a self catering holiday. I would return to Pissouri again because it has everything you need for a relaxing holiday but unfortunately I would not return to this villa as it is not maintained well enough for continuous rental through the summer and sadly the owners do not seem prepared to spend the money required to bring it up to standard.
