About this house rental
Our Ogunquit Cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood and a short walk to Footbridge Beach and a few restaurants. The closest trolley stop is also a short walk away that can take you downtown and to the Main Ogunquit Beach. Perfect for a family get away or two couples. A nice area for bike riding and walks. We can sleep up to 6 adults and two children in pack and plays. There are two bedrooms upstairs and a pull out couch downstairs.

In 2022 we updated the full bed to a queen and a new king mattress in the master. We have also installed AC split levels in each bedroom and the living room, so you will be able to comfortably cool the whole space in the summer.

This is our second time staying at this rental and we were not disappointed! The house is spacious, clean and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable and the location is perfect to get to Footbridge beach. We will definitely be returning! This home is an amazing find and we highly recommended it.

We have been spending summer vacations in OGT for over 30 years. This is our first time staying at in a VRBO rental. Once I got the hang of using VRBO, it was very easy. The description and pictures of the property were very accurate and up to date (so much appreciated) which were very helpful determining if the house would meet our needs.
The owners were very responsive to any questions and I really appreciated them both. Thank you for a great vacation.

This was our first time visiting Ogunquit~ The house was closely located to the beach, to restaurants and shops! It was very clean (I’d love the person who cleans this place to come to my house! Literally spotless!) We enjoyed a different restaurant every night and our dogs were very happy here- thanks so much for our wonderful week!

It's a quiet neighborhood and not far from the main road which has great restaurants and a short walk to the foot bridge beaches!
We stayed in "the big house" this year with the awesome deck!

Great place to stay with your dog. Location is in a quiet neighborhood & easy to walk our dog. One mile walk to the beach and to downtown Ogunquit.
Kitchen was well equipped to make any meal & grill was great on the deck. The deck looked over lovely landscaped gardens.

Quiet and relaxing stay with my parents (in 70s) I walked or drove to the Footbridge for a daily walk on the beach for the sunrise. Close to amenities. Kitchen has everything you could need. Very responsive, nice, experience hosts.

My wife and I were actually on a working vacation, helping our kid who lives nearby, get ready to move into their new house. It was great to have a place close enough to the beach that we could walk our dog down to play in the waves at the end of the day. The house is very nice and very well equipped. Since we are still in pandemic mode and wary of crowds we prepared most of our meals in the house, where we found everything we needed. We're looking forward to coming back in the future and trying some if the many interesting restaurants that are nearby.

Great getaway!
The house was perfect for our 4th of July week in Ogunquit. Close to Footbridge Beach and a little over a mile walk to town. It is a quiet area and perfect foe dog walking and relaxing.

July 2022 Vacation
This house is a gem! It is so well laid out and comfortable. It is very clean and welcoming. It has everything you need to cook/grill there and eating outside in the tranquility of their backyard space is very peaceful… and the King bed that we slept on is amazing! Great nights of sleep. We enjoyed the cozy living room space (as did our dog) watching a few of our favorite shows to unwind. The laundry facility area is also so great! Lots of storage in the bathroom for your personal items and updated. It is a manageable 15-20 minute walk to Footbridge Beach (which is so beautiful) and a slightly longer walk into town. We would definitely would stay here again!!!

Relaxing family vacation
We loved our stay in Ogunquit! The home was cozy and relaxing. We all enjoyed the foosball table in the basement. The owners were excellent communicators and very responsive.

Relaxing pet-friendly retreat
We loved staying here with our two dogs! The house is nicely set up with a well-equipped kitchen and laundry room, several TVs, even workout equipment. Lovely skylights and windows bring in the beautiful morning light, and the deck is great to hang out on. Really appreciated the quiet wooded neighborhood. Would love to stay here again!

Great pet friendly property
Spent 4 weeks at this cozy property. Enjoyed the peaceful location (saw three deer in the yard twice) Close to everything. Owners are accommodating and attentive. My dog loved the yard. Would recommend this for a nice retreat in Maine!

Quiet and convenient
It was great. The lock box for the key was tough to open so the start was frustrating. And bath towels were provided, which I didn’t know until I got there. The kitchen was great. The grill might have been better if we didn’t grill in the rain. There was one night when there was a beep coming from behind a locked door. I emailed and they were there within minutes at 9:00 at night. And we were visited by deer too!

Great stay in this adorable , clean, well maintained unit. The deck was lovely and peaceful in a very nice quiet neighborhood. Location was wonderful. Highly recommend this property!

Great location, enjoyable stay
Really enjoyed our 3 weeks at Rachel and Jamie's house. Very clean and well appointed. Enjoyed walking to the trolley, Footbridge Beach, and the local restaurants. Also enjoyed walking down to Beach Plum Lobster to pick up a fresh cooked lobster to go with the fresh corn and potatoes from the farm stand on US 1. Also appreciated that the property is dog friendly so our sweet 9 year old lab could make a trip to Maine with us! Thanks Rachel and Jamie - appreciated the easy communication between us both before and during the trip.

Well maintained
We had a lovely stay in Ogunquit! This place was very comfortable and fully equipped! It was about a mile walk to the Footbridge beach and little less to go into town. We would definitely come back and rent this property in the future!

close to our favorite beach
we generally stay elsewhere when we go to Maine but decided to try a house because we were not sure if we had someone to watch our dog. It all went perfect and the place was great. Rachel and James were very helpful and responsive to our questions and place was very clean. Didn't end up needing to take the dog but was great relief not to worry if we did. Love the location, nice quiet neighboorhood but close enough that I dropped off the kids and stuff at footbridge beach then drove the car back and walked to the beach. Very convenient would definitely do again.

Clean and Comfortable
The house is comfortable and is in a quiet neighborhood. The owners are always an email away if you encounter any problems. Ogunquit has always been our "go to" place!

Rachel and Jamie nice people. New couch since original stay. Very understanding people.
Arrived and Cable was out. Fixed promptly by Jamie. New couch since our last stay. We only stayed one night due to personal issue at home. A bit disappointed with the cleanliness. It it time for new mattress in the master bedroom. Pillows as well. Told to bring own bedding which I did. I brought everything including mattress pad from home. So glad I did. Stains on mattress, pillows, and mattress pad already there. Difficult to sleep knowing what the mattress looked like and the soiled pillows. I left my mattres pad there for an upgrade. Felt dirty this time. We stayed there a few years ago. Kithchen had some grease drippings on cabinets and countertops. Toaster oven dirty. Did not use . My husband and I cleaned up some things. Grill was filthy. We never used that. I honestly think Jamie and Rachel are nice landlords, but need to take a look around the property and do a deep clean and put a little money into improvements such as the bed and AC. They are old and smell of mildew. They were very understanding of why we had to go and I honestly feel they will make improvements to the cleanliness. Nice house all around but starting to show wear and tear. I know it’s just a rental for them, but it is a vacation for the people who are renting. Just want to be honest.

Beautiful Place
This was our second year staying at Rachel's' beautiful home in Maine. We had such a wonderful time. The house is close enough to things you may want to do but also remote enough that you have peace and quiet. Rachel is so quick to respond to help with anything you may need. We intend to make this an annual trip.

We had a great time, house was very clean, and was just as described. It was wonderful having a washer/ dryer and being this close to everything going on in Ogunquit and Wells. Rachel was very responsive, great communication.

An amazing house and rental experience!
We arrived to find the house very well kept and clean. The skylights are beautiful and make the house feel so airy and bright. We absolutely loved grilling on the spacious deck outside. The location is great. It is a peaceful neighborhood. We walked to the footbridge beach, downtown Ogunquit and to the main beach. I had one question that came up during the stay, and Rachel responded immediately. Perfect rental for vacation!

We found the house to be clean and comfortable! The house is close to the beach and close to the center of town.
The owners are friendly and will take care of any issues quickly.... (like the internet going out) (which is just a normal condition in our high tech world).

This house has it all!
We enjoyed our one week stay here with the dog. The house is equipped with everything you need and is well kept. Upon arrival it was nice to see it was clean, I rent from HomeAway every summer and usually find I need to clean the house before I unpack but not here. The furniture is comfortable and the decor is nice. I really enjoyed the outside twinkle lights at night. The gas grill is newer and works great. It was so convenient having a washer and dryer. The house is situated in a nice location. Walking to the center of town and Footbridge beach is doable. The trolley stop is at the end of the street if the walk too much. There is plenty of parking in the driveway. I hope to return next year, it is very difficult to find nice pet friendly rentals, thank you for letting us stay at your lovely home!
