Great staff!

If you’re on a budget, this property is strategically located at the center of Bohol. They serve breakfast and the staff are absolutely amazing!

There’s no wifi inside the rooms. You have to go to the lobby for internet services.

Failed to deliver upon pledge. .

Nothing.

The room was nothing like the photographs. Bed far too small. Room was not prepared. Window broken letting in mosquitos. No toilet seat, toiletries or tissue etc. Simply a disaster. We were so disappointed in the room, we did not stay one night. We left and found alternative accommodation.

Great location and great price for what you get.

Perfect location, not even 5 minutes drive from the beaches. It's right next to a 24/hr convenience store as well. The beds were real spring mattresses, and they were comfy. They had hot water and AC, and the bathroom was recently remodeled and was very modern. The room price was very affordable.

Our room wasn't restocked with shower soap, and there were no table or chairs inside the room.

Staff very nice , spacious and clean room , 5 minutes walk from a beautiful beach . Barbecue available for dinner in front of the property.

Need improvement on cleaning

The owner was kind, and he offered cheaper tour option.

The overall cleaning was really bad. we knew that this is affordable inn, but all my family was quite shocked when we entered the room. Though he helped us to check in earlier than expected time, but bathroom was dirty, and pillow had some dirts/moles which can't be covered with sheet. We made 2 nights, but on second day, I just left the place to look for better option.

Great place to stay, if you don’t need busy Alona.

We’ve spend 2 nights here with my friend and it was great. Catalina was very helpfull and helped us with everything. She also prepared us a breakfast sooner than usual when we were leaving to the port.

The AC was a bit louder but nothing unbearable.

The best place you can stay: Good value for money in Panglao :)

The most amazing thing about Catalina’s Inn was the personnel. They made us feel like home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was included and it was homemade pancakes and coffee in a beautiful rooftop. They own a tuc-tuc and we basically made all our commuting with them with a very fair price. They took us everywhere we wanted and waited for us to see all the tourist attractions. This place is located 7 minute walk from one of the most beautiful beaches in Bohol (White Beach). We are 3 young traveler girls and we can tell that we felt very safe and welcome in Catalina’s. The price is the best thing you can find. It is the definition of good value for money. You won’t regret staying in Bohol with them.

We have found some insects in the building, but we believe that is something normal taking into account where it is located. Nothing to complain taking into account what we paid.

Friendly and accommodating budget hotel with good access to Alona beach and Dumaluan beach

If looking for a budget hotel with the friendliest, most accommodating people with good access to Alona (party) Beach and Dumaluan (pretty) Beach, definitely try Catalina's Inn. Their location is very convenient: along the highway which means easy access to transportation that will take you to and from Alona Beach (150php per tricycle ride, not per person) but still just 10 minutes leisurely walk away from the pretty, white sandy Dumaluan beach which shares the same coastline as BBC (they're literally right next to each other). They have a 24hr sari-sari (convenience) store where u can buy your midnight snack needs. There are at least 3 restos within a 5 minute walk from the place. ATM is less than a minute walk away. They are 5 mins away from the airport and we experienced no traffic whatsoever when they offered to bring us to the airport for free. They offer free round trip hotel-airport (Bohol Panglao International Airport) / hotel-seaport (Tagbilaran seaport) transfer. The manager, Kuya Boyet, is very friendly and welcoming. He was able to accommodate our request for an island hopping private boat tour despite the fact that we were able to confirm only by 11pm the night before. Even though he had an early and busy day the next day, he spent time with us til around 2am exchanging stories. Ate Maritess, Marcelina, and Gerami were also very nice and aimed to please. When we had requests (towels, toiletries, extension cord, etc), they made sure we got them immediately or were waiting for us when we got back from our day out. They served our breakfast always with a smile and made sure to ask us what we wanted before serving them. Breakfast is the typical simple pinoy breakfast (with the daily option to have pancakes instead). For our 3 breakfasts, we got to try 2pc longganisa, 2pc ham, and 2pc hotdog. They always came with fried eggs, rice, coffee/tea.

Cosy and homie

Breakfast was amazing. Owners nice and helpful, we rented our motorbike from them, asked for laundry. Location is good, there is little store in the same yard so no need to go far for snacks. Even though we had some problems when arriving, owners found a solution :)
