The comfort of the place was incredible! The place was beautiful and the owners are lovely. We were out late the night we stayed and there was no issues driving in to the property so late at night! They were so friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable.
Couldn’t even fault the place not one bit we didn’t enjoy!

Very cute shepherds huts in nice quiet location. Lovely hosts and helpful info provided about the local area.
The mattress was a little hard unfortunately, but other than that all the facilities were perfect.

Very cute and cozy stay. Two shepherd huts with very good facilities. Outdoor seating was lovely and bbq area too. Didn’t get to use it due to the rain. 4 min drive into drumlish and 10 mins from longford. Very cute decor and the owners were friendly. Our little dog loved the stay too😃
Only one pillow each would of been nice to have more but bar that was lovely.

Location was fabulous, rural setting very close to main road.
The hut itself was perfect, cosy feel but spacious inside and also well kitted out.
I also arrived quite late and Craig was very accomodating.
I'll certainly be back for my next visit to Longford!

Lovely peaceful spot we used as a stop over on our trip hope from Kerry. Was able to stay with the dog and the accommodation was just what we needed. Owners greeted us and were very friendly and welcoming.
Not that we didn't like but few suggestions to improve. Wee blind on the door and a few hooks for hanging stuff.

It was a lovely location and the shepherd's hut was so comfortable and had everything you could need - wonderful shower, fridge, cooker, microwave. It was surprisingly spacious. A booklet with lots of local interests/places to eat etc was provided which was really useful. Their grounds are really lovely as is the surrounding countryside. It's ideal if you just want somewhere peaceful to stay with options of country walks or interesting places/walks nearby by car. The hosts were very friendly and allowed me to take some of their delicious homegrown rhubarb home with me. :)
I thought that the door could benefit from a blind over its window, especially as a lone female. I did mention it to one of the hosts when I was leaving. I felt safe at the location but if I'd been in the other hut with guests passing to get to the hut I was staying in, I would definitely feel a bit conscious when getting dressed/getting read to take a shower. However, it really didn't detract from my stay as I was in the furthest hut. I would definitely return. The other thing that at first disappointed me was the traffic noise from a nearby busy road. There is nothing the hosts can do about this of course but I wasn't expecting it so just want to make others aware that you will notice it at first but you get used to it in no time and it doesn't stop you from enjoying the lovely hut and surroundings. It's a really lovely spot, pleasant stay and sweet hosts.

self contained, own covered picnic table.
Not within easy walking distance of anywhere interesting and if weather is poor could be a little restricted unless you are ok to drive.

It looked really small from the outside but it really did have everything that we needed. Very clean and comfortable.
Everything was great.

The hosts are very kindly. Such a cozy little space.
More activities on site would make the experience all the funner.

The property was cute, cozy and comfortable. I had a very relaxing stay and the chalet was very clean. The hosts were also welcoming and nice.
The only fault to this property was there’s isn’t a TV but we brought our entertainment system so we didn’t mind that.

Had an amazing short stay in this lovely place. The hut had all necessary facilities and was super comfortable. Very nice and friendly hosts.
Didn’t had time to explore the area, but we hope we can do it next time.

A really cute little spot with great views over the countryside.
We cycled here so we got a taxi into town which is 8km away (€15 taxi ride)
We had a few beers and returned by taxi again with a Pizza.
We took advantage of the really nice outdoor, covered, dining table to enjoy our meal while taking in the views.
Very nice indeed
