An amazing stay at Hawkdun Rise
John&Suzanne are two wonderful people, so warm and welcoming. It was so nice to spend a night at their amazing property! They put up the Norwegian flag at their front gate, just for me, the bed was super comfortable, the breakfast was amazing - I could just go on…! Highly recommended!!!

Our stay at Hawkdun Rise was the highlight of our two weeks in the beautiful South Island of NZ.
Hawkdun Rise is located on the outskirts of Alexandra a quaint village with a beautiful river running through the middle. however, Suzanne and John directed us to the historical village of Clyde and later Cromwell enroute to Queenstown. These villages are a must see with excellent restaurants, bars and history aplenty.
Our visit would only have been improved by staying a night or two extra.
