Great location. Property was clean and had everything needed.
Directions to access the property were not clear. The garages are behind the cottages and can't be seen from the High Street. The front door is virtually impossible to open from outside due to something at the top of the door catching on the doorframe above.
The stairs are narrow, go round in a spiral and there is just a rope to hold onto. Very challenging, especially with luggage. For anyone with mobility problems, we would not recommend this property.

Great location in centre of town close to country walks
Steep stairs! Garden shared and not secure for dogs.

The position in Bourton on the Water was excellent as was the parking
The stairs to the bedrooms, need better hand rails. Plus no downstairs toilet, or dishwasher.

Great location, very short walk to main part of town. Unique little cottage with good amenities for a comfortable stay.
Lack of proper shower. The shower nozzle in bath works good for small kids and ok for an adult standing if you want to flood the bathroom, but you'll find yourself either awkwardly sitting in tub or kneeling and trying to shower.
The backdoor handle/lock, really worn out and difficult to get into position for key to work for people that don't use the door every day.

The Location was excellent
Should have a shower screen or shower curtain, water goes everywhere, should have carpet on the stairs, woodlice in the living room

Lovely little cottage, perfect location, extremely comfy and clean. Had a very relaxed stay.
Stairs are steep but we didn't mind, got use to them and became part of the holiday experience.

The location is excellent literally a few yards from the village centre. The peacefulness, so quiet even with the church bells it was wonderful. Private parking, cleanliness, modern heating, bathroom and kitchen in a beautiful old cottage.
Not a dislike but be warned the stairs are steep.

Fantastic location. Property nice, warm and cosy, especially during cold weather. Bed very comfortable. Close to public transport. Excellent instructions for the property such as recycling. Full range of cleaning products, hoover, iron, ironing board, tea towels provided. A nice touch was the box of chocolates left. There are 2 dining room tables, in kitchen and conservatory which gives you a choice weather dependant. Virtually everything you need in the kitchen. There are laundry facilities outside, but we didn't use. Hairdryer is provided but wasn't mentioned anywhere.
Check in too late and inflexible. Most properties i have previously stayed in have been more flexible. When you request early check in online it immediately says no! The facility to request early arrival is therefore pointless. Shower only hand held. Would have been helpful to have small things like salt and pepper in kitchen. Non working blind on main kitchen window means at night when lights on anyone parking can see in. Broadband very poor unable to use things like Netflix. Staircase could be an issue for some people but we were aware due to previous reviews. If you use both bedrooms and need bathroom at night you would have to climb down staircase to use bathroom which is in main bedroom.

The location was great, we used the cottage as a base for exploring the local area. The parking space was useful. The cottage was pleasant and had everything required. The bedding and towels were of a good standard.
We found some local parks which our children enjoyed. The local Coop was amazing, nothing like our local place, more like a French supermarket with lovely produce and pastries.
The driveway was very tight for our vehicle. The church bells went off every 15 minutes which woke our youngest every night. We did get used to them by the end but they were quite loud. The stairs were very steep, so steep there was rope instead of a bannister. It all added to the quirkiness of the cottage.

the location was great, and the cottage was very clean and comfortable

The location was excellent. The cottage was next to the church and the bells did ring throughout the night but didn't disturb our sleep. The conservatory was delightful to sit in.
A big draw back to the cottage was the staircase that was very steep. Additionally the staircase was immediately outside the bedroom door on both the first and second floor. A photo of the stairs would be useful to show potential clients as it was a surprise for us.

The location was brilliant. Everywhere was lovely and clean. There was an abundance of kitchenware. The cottage was perfect for our needs.
The stairs were very steep but we already knew this but would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. The entrance for parking was narrow but again we were informed of this and wasn’t really a problem once you were used to it.

Once I found the laundry room after trying the 2 other outbuildings, it was easy to open and retrieve the keys.
There were 2 keys, but we only ever used the conservatory door.
The stairs to the first floor are a bit tricky, my wife had a hip replacement in June, but there's only about 7 steps.
The outside space was fine and the cottage is close to loads of amenities within walking distance. Also, someone mentioned in a review that the church bells could disturb light sleepers, but we couldn't hear them in the cottage.
The cottage is totally pet friendly, but I would advise taking 3 throws, as we did, for the two sofas and the bed.
Bourton-on-the-Water is a fabulous friendly place, with plenty to do, sufficient shops, plus plenty of eating places.
Nothing.

The cottage is very conveniently located in town centre and close to amenties, shops and restaurant. A good location for discovering the Cotswolds.
I requested an extra set of bed linen the day before my arrival but did not get any response and did not get the spare linen. Could not get through to the owner for an urgent query.

The cottage is so cute, comfy & quaint & we loved it, even the chiming of the church clock ! Cosy & warm too, with a quiet garden & centrally located, it’s a little gem.
The quirky stairs are a challenge for the more elderly, needing care & a clear head, but I love the character & atmosphere they add to the cottage.

Fantastic location! Very clean. Small but very well appointed. Very clean with very comfy beds.
The stairs are smooth and extremely steep spiral so not ideal if travelling with younger children. Entrance to drive into parking is so narrow it’s a nervy entrance/exit.

Sweet cottage ideally located on the high street a stones throw from the village centre. Period features and electric fire place made it feel cosy. Well presented and clean.
The furniture was uncomfortable, including sofas and bed. Not ideal for people average height or over.
As ideally located as the cottage is on the high street, it’s on top of a church with bells ringing every 15mins all night long with bells donging to announce the time every hour and elaborate tunes every three hours. Made sleep very difficult.
