Nice flat in Santa Cruz. Great for remote work or city excursions.

The flat was small but the perfect size for remote work for myself. It had strong wifi and nice tables to set up my work station. I liked that rooms were separated so I could separate my work/ rest etc areas. (Many flats/studios are open floor and you have to look at your bed while you work! :) Great central location. Perfect for little trips around the city. There is a beautiful park and a large Mercadona grocery around the corner. 5 minute walking distance to everything you need in city center and restaurants and shops. Host had good communication and was quick to reply/ assist. It was a wonderful stay and I'd love to return.

It should be noted that the apartment is on the 6th or 7th(?) floor and is about 100 steps from lobby to apartment. So if you have heavy luggage or grocery bags, it is a workout! The window in the dining room gets strong direct sun for most of the day and raises the temperature of the space by many degrees. It would be great if black out blinds or curtains were installed in the room so you could keep the room cool as needed by blocking the sun, instead of running the air conditioner. :)

Santiago excellent host; we really appreciated the tourist information provided. Zoe very efficient with arrival greeting, some fruit and mineral water had been provided which was welcome. Apartment well equipped, with good WIFI. Excellent location, with nearby access to Parque Garcia Sanabria, restaurants and shops. Tram station a few minutes walk away. Parking very close by (23.80 euros for two night stay).

We knew that access to the apartment was via several flights of stairs; this was not a problem for us but might be a consideration. The apartment is on a very busy street, with only single glazed windows - the bedroom overlooks the street. It is noisy with traffic and people talking on the street, with the exception of midnight until about 06:30 am. Related to the floor plan of the apartment the bedroom is not completely dark.

Great stay

Great location, center of the city. Just 2 min walk from amazing park where are as well two play grounds. From apartment can see a view of mountains. Underground 24h pay parking available near. Super store and mcdonalds just 2 min walk. Comfortable double bed in one room and fold out sofa in another room. Spacious dining room. Apartment does not have an oven but has combi microwave that was able to make pizza. The evening walk in the park was like a frosting on a cake. Over all perfect for 2 adults and 2 children.

The windows does not have lock option and can be easily slide open.

Wouldn’t recommend for anyone

The check-was fast and smooth, the lady who let us in was really nice. Also, the apartment is located in a nice area, very central, and close to a beautiful park with cafe, walking places and playground for kids. Also to add, the apartment was clean.

The apartment is penthouse (atico), so it takes over 70 steps to get there.. it wasn’t the best thing for us, since we travelled with a toddler and lots of heavy luggage.. The apartment itself is very poorly planned, you have little spaces here and there, but no normal open space (the biggest is the dining room, instead of living room). The sofa-bed - extremely uncomfortable, wouldn’t recommend it for a night’s sleep, and we had to use it for a week - longest week in our lives lol. The portable air conditioner is a bonus, but it is very loud. The kitchen is the smallest kitchen you will ever seen. The bathroom - no space at all, the shower cabin is so tiny, and you cannot access the sink fully, also - no water pressure neither in the shower or toilet (you have to use water bucket all the time for the toilet) and don’t tell me its because there is no water in the tank, we know how the toilet works, and its not the case; the water is just barely flushing. Also, no one warn us that no papers can be thrown in the toilet, so obviously it got clogged, but the owner wasn’t too interested in helping us with that, instead he just repeatedly said how we weren’t supposed to throw papers and that we need to use the water bucket or wait till the tank fills with water - like it’s the first time we used the toilet or something, and we wouldn’t have a clue on how it works. Anyways, we had to fix it ourselves as he simply stopped replying.. not the attention you would expect from the owner. :) what else.. only one pack of bed linen, keeping in mind he knew that we will use the sofa bed as well. Also, no locks on the windows, so I wouldn’t even consider this as suitable for travellers with young children (there are many windows in the dining room as well as bedroom). To sum up, it was the worst stay in Tenerife for us, and we’ve been living there around 6 months, so we have seen many places. Couldn’t recommend this to anyone - pricey and very very uncomfortable for many reasons.

Good location

Good location - a short walk from harbour and city centre - in a residential area. The bed was very comfortable. Good value for money for a short stay in the city.

The curtain in the bedroom didn't keep out the sun so we were woken early every morning by the light. It would be nice to have a new sponge in the kitchen for washing the dishes rather than the one left by the previous occupant - just a small suggestion.

Amazing holiday. We will definitely come back when we visit Tenerife in the future.

The host was fantastic. The communication was very good and he did his best to make our stay worth it. He helped us book a private tour guide, Fernando who had been amazing. Santiago (Host) was consistently assisting us at any time of the day. When you decide to stay here, you won't regret having a private tour with Fernando who showed us the best parts of Tenerife. Because of both Santiago and Fernando our holiday was just perfect. We will definitely come back next time.
