About this house rental
Relax and enjoy the large front yard and mature citrus trees from behind the privacy of a fence with remote controlled gated entry. Open the french doors off the living room and sip your morning coffee on the patio amidst the vibrant purple bougainvillea. The grapefruits are easily the most fragrant and juicy I've ever had. If oranges are in season, pick some right off the tree and make some fresh squeezed juice
LA always has great weather but tends to cool down at nights in the 60s so enjoy that outdoor Cali lifestyle! Grab some logs from the woodpile and enjoy a nice fire in the chiminea while having a glass of wine or whiskey
The living room features a large sectional couch that easily seats 5 and there's a super comfy chaise lounge big enough for two. There is currently a 70" Sony HD SmartTV! Cable is through HULU streaming app along with Netflix and AppleTV hooked up- just sign in to your accounts to stream. There is also a Sony DVD/BluRay player and surround sound system for recreating that theatre-like experience. Many DVDs to choose from direct from the studios- if coming during Awards season many are still in the theatres. Bluetooth speaker streams any music platform you prefer (Spotify, Pandora, etc) directly from your smartphone or tablet. High speed wifi and a wireless printer available for you to print out boarding passes or amusement park tickets.
There is a gas bbq directly off the kitchen for grilling out and enjoying meals on the patio.
Please clean the grill after you use it.
There is a new 11ft cantilever umbrella to protect you from the sun yet still enjoy the outdoors.
Patio table comfortably seats 6. The seat cushions are brand new. Please put them away when not in use to keep clean and prevent fading
Long secured driveway can safely park your cars for free. You'll he just steps from the door. Always safe and convenient and no parking tickets that can put a damper on a vacation :)
Master bedroom is very spacious and over 16 feet wide. Stretch out and enjoy. Queen bed, MyPillow, nightstand, dresser and full closet system with places for shoes, valuables, etc. Plenty of room for your stuff for an extended stay
Second bedroom has a full sized bed and MyPillow and walk in closet. Both beds have memory foam toppers on them for a comfortable nights sleep
Guest access
Entire house is yours except for a side (3rd) room I have locked with my personal belongings and behind the blue curtain off the laundry room. I've just stashed some household items here and do not interfere at all with laundry use.
Interaction with guests
I will be staying in a detached guest house in the rear of the property. The house and guest house are completely separate structures so I can be as far or as close as you prefer.

The neighborhood
NoHo is an up and coming neighborhood that is just minutes from Universal Theme Park, Burbank Airport and Burbank's studios (Disney, Warner Brothers and Nickelodean) and its Arts District features many dance studios (such as the world famous Millennium), the Art Institute, the Motion Picture Academy, restaurants with different cuisines, theatres, cafes, juice bars, coffeeshops and bars.
Getting around
I am 5 minutes from Burbank Airport ($7 Uber ride); 2 blocks from National Rental Car; freeway access to the (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) and 405 are all no problem.
The Metro NoHo is a 1 mile walk or you can drive and park in the lot. Just 1 stop later on the Red line and you're at Universal, 2 stops and you're in Hollywood
Other things to note
The backyard is currently being developed and is not part of the rental. Of course no work will be done to interrupt guest's privacy

This was the perfect location for our stay, central to all our points of interest.
Had all the basic amenities for our use (thanks for the pancake mix!) and the kids enjoyed having the ping pong table/corn hole for more entertainment. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Instructions for checkin and throughout were very clear. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

This property was exactly as advertised! Gated entry spacious yard pleanty of room for a family of 4! Great location if you are looking to see the sights of Hollywood. We did Universal which was just 3 miles away! The owner was very responsive with any questions we had! Would definitely keep them in mind when we come back to LA.

This house is to cute! Tasteful decorated, has all the amenities you would look for in a vacation rental. I also appreciated that there were spices, oils, coffee and tea left in the rental. I love when I don’t have to spend a fortune on spices and other basic kitchen items when travelling. The location is super close to universal about 10-15 min drive. Many restaurants and grocery stores near by. Would stay again.

Had a great time. Nice and cozy. Loved the landscape, the high private gated fencing. My husband and my 16 year old and her friend. They were entertained with the ping pong table and overall enjoyed being outside. Plenty of good eats within 10-15 minutes. Target less than 10 minutes away. I mos def would stay again.

It was lovely to stay in a house during our trip rather than a hotel. The host was very helpful giving us some wonderful suggestions for things to do. House was lovely with everything that we needed to make us comfortable. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Two parents and three kids had a great time. Close to LA attractions, house was comfy and cozy. Kids enjoyed playing on hammock and with yard games.

Four of us - 3 generations of family, stayed here for a few days at Universal Studios. House is about 15 minute drive and is very comfortable. One large master bedroom king sized bed and large bathroom with shower; smaller bedroom with full sized bed; living room has a long sofa that is sleepable. One full sized bath and small kitchen. Family room has a giant screen TV, really too large for the size of the room but that was OK. Dining table. Bar area. The yard has a ping pong table (we didn’t see the balls/paddles, but badminton set was handy; very large hammock and a couple of chairs. Also BBQ area. Very private with fully fenced yard and gated property. Convenient to N.Hollywood and surrounds. Very clean, very nice. Great responses from host. Stayed 2 nights.

Rich’s house was a pleasant surprise in the north Hollywood. Rich has been my top BnB hosts I have stayed so far. He was kind, accommodating and resourceful. The house itself is well equipped with 2 big bedrooms. A family friendly bnb 15 mins away from Hollywood with parking covered. It has all the necessary amenities. Rich also has a open bar full of drinks. I would highly recommend Rich’s abode for a Hollywood getaway!

Richard greeted us and was a wonderful host who was always available but never seen. After a busy day in the city his place was a perfect relaxing home away from home. The house had everything ww needed and i enjoyed the yard. The living room and large tv was lovely. Beds super comfy. Safe neighborhood near everthing. Richard provided excellent food suggestions

We had an amazing stay and Rich’s property exceeded our expectations. It was conveniently located for all the sights, had everything we needed. It was beautifully furnished and felt large. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio in the morning having some breakfast watching the hummingbirds and hawks, the garden was full of nature and so peaceful.
The house felt secure and had electric gates. It was a quiet area.
Rich the host was a great guy and happy to offer recommendations of where to eat and where to go.
I really cannot praise this place enough, it is always scary booking a property online, but this time it worked out better than expected.
If we went to LA again this would be top of our list.

We came down to LA from a town called Petaluma & Rohnert Park. The 21 year old wanted to celebrate at Universal Studios, so we did! We had so much fun! I want to come back in a couple of years…. I’m the Grammy portion of this group.

We loved Richard's house. Located very conveniently in quiet residential neighborhood, the house is very clean, well maintained, nicely decorated and stocked with all you could need on vacation. The backyard with a table and chairs, the fountain, the yard with hammock and table tennis were very nice and enjoyable. Richard was very easy to reach and responding to messages promptly.

It’s my first time staying at VRBO with friends. The place was very clean and tidy. It was pretty much close to everything- universal studio, walk of fame, Chinese theater , grocery store and restaurants. On our last night, we had a great time singing and dancing till 3 am. Most of all, Rich was such a wonderful host.

Beautiful home and very clean. Loved the corn hole and ping pong table out front but wish there was a net (maybe we missed it?). 12 minute drive to Universal Studios and plenty of shops nearby for coffee/groceries/etc.

I have stayed at many different vrbos and never have I encountered such a hospitable host! The house was in superb condition, exactly as indicated and with many kind perks offered by the host! Great property, very private with large gated fenced lot. We enjoyed our stay at Rich's house. It had all the amenities we needed and is close to shopping, restaurants and film studios.
Rich was easily available if we needed him. We expect to stay there again....

This property is exactly as listed, with a beautiful front yard, easy access, and sound security measures. We were 5 people total, including 2 children, and sleeping worked out well. We did utilize the chaise in the living room as only two beds. The owner is available if you need him, but otherwise invisible. We would not hesitate to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. Just enough space for our family of four. Wonderful outside area. Had fun watching the hummingbirds bathe in the fountain. Very clean with everything you need, and in a great area.

This was the perfect spot for us to stay with our two grandsons. It was cozy & plenty of room for the 4 of us. We loved how close it was to Universal Studios/City Walk & Dodger Stadium. Rich is a great host!

A great house, and Rich was very friendly, super responsive, and easy to communicate with even though he wasn't staying on property at the time. Check-in was simple, and the house and car are secure behind a locked gate, giving you a peaceful oasis. We loved the "cool LA bachelor pad" vibe of the house and outdoor area--my 16yo son has a new life goal :-)! Felt like we had our own screening room as we relaxed on the comfy couch in front of the GIGANTIC television. Everything was very clean and just as pictured in the photos. Beds were blessedly comfortable. Be aware that the house is on a nice quiet residential street, but the immediate neighborhood (Vineland Ave in particular) is not the most picturesque. However, there are many good restaurants and shops in the area, just a short drive away. We loved Pitfire Artisan Pizza for a fast and friendly meal. I also didn't quite realize that North Hollywood is not technically in Hollywood, ha ha. Still, just 15 minutes or so to drive to the classic Hollywood tourist attractions. We were happy to be super close to Universal for a fun day out and a short drive home after a busy day. We would gladly stay here again. Thanks, Rich!

Loved our stay! Nicely furnished. Plenty of room indoors and outdoors for gathering. Loved the hammock, big turf area, corn hole, outdoor dining table, art, big TV and comfy furniture. The host was very responsive.

Overall we are happy with our stay and Rich is very responsive to our questions. Would be good if dishwashing detergent is provided as we have to use the hand soap (running low as well upon check-in) to clean the cups. Also, the body wash liquid was near empty when we check-in so we have to rush to get it from the grocery supermarket which is nearby. My whole family enjoyed the big TV screen!
