A lot of little things that could have made us more comfortable, Considering the price paid .
Overall I would spend my money here again. In hopes of a slightly better experience.

Great place to stay. Close to the lake and pool. The little boys love the swimming pool. We got to see bears in the complex. Each morning the bear had gotten into people’s trash and had scattered it all over. It was cleaned up quickly.
The home was not as clean as I thought it should be. We only got two kitchen towels and no beach towels. I made a phone call and they quickly brought over kitchen towels along with hot pads and beach towels.
Some of the frying pans were not clean at all and were very old. The food would stick very bad.
I wish they would have had dishes that were better for children. I ended up buying plastic cups.
The refrigerator door Was kind of broken. They came in and fixed it the best they could and said they would have to order a part. The fridge was working.
No central air. They did have plenty of fans. It still got kind of hot in the afternoon.
They only give you 2 parking passes. We ended up with three cars and they did give us another pass.
The whole location was very nice, quiet and relaxing.
All in all we had a great time.

Location was great. The amount of bedrooms and sleeping space was nice, the peek a boo view of the lake was nice.

We love Lakeland, it is hard to find a better location in terms of beach access, and being within walking distance of the marina and shops is so fun. Our unit was among the least expensive available for our trip and so I can't complain too much but will say to those of you who are looking for a fancier stay, this is not the unit for you. It's pretty run down, lacking in basic amenities like kitchenware and bathroom goods and when we tried to contact the front desk for things like toilet paper we were told we needed to call a local line and never did get the help we were looking for. Now the unit worked well for us because we had two young kids and having things be a bit run down is somewhat of a relief, less stress worrying about whether or not we are going to wreck a nice sofa or carpet with grubby kid hands! The parking situation is absolutely dismal. We were only allowed two spaces for a unit that sleeps ten people! We were traveling in three vehicles so we had to find and pay for parking for one car for the entire trip, it was weird. This is the second unit I have stayed in at Lakeland and the first one was much cleaner and had more amenities but was probably more expensive. I would say if you are looking for a less expensive stay and don't want a place that you are worried about kids messing things up then this is the spot for you!

We absolutely LOVED the location! We were within walking distance of the private beach, pool, stores, restaurants, and water activities! We genuinely had such an amazing experience and thoroughly enjoyed spending our vacation with three generations of family members! Thank you!

We love how it is close to the lake.

Enjoyed the access to hottubs/sauna. It had everything we needed and was a good location for a short drive or 1/3 of a mile walk to a Heavenly shuttle. Beds were comfy and the kitchen had all the equipment needed for tasty breakfasts and evening meals. Beautiful area, just a short walk to the dock that juts into beautiful Lake Tahoe!

We had a great time staying at this condo! It was perfect for our large group. The condo was clean, spacious, and conveniently located for Heavenly and Kirkwood. It was also very nice to be right on the lake and to have access to a hot tub. Vacasa was very proactive with communication and made check in and check out extremely easy. The only difficult part was parking. With a house that accommodated such a large group, we would’ve appreciated more than two parking permits so that we did not have to pay for parking elsewhere in South Lake. Otherwise, it was perfect!

We (a group of 5 adults and 4 children) had a good stay at the property. Perfect size and #of rooms. cozy and clean. Beds are not too soft which is perfect. No bad smell at all anywhere in the condo. It’s so close to everything: lake view, grocery stores, restaurants and ski resort. Check in and out we’re easy and smooth. Very quiet at night. Our friend family wasn’t able to book a unit close to us since they booked late. But they said our place is much better than theirs after a visit. I would strongly recommend this place to stay for Lake Tahoe.

Overall, a great property for a large family. 4-bedroom plus a two full-size beds in the loft and three bathrooms make this property an ideal unit for a holiday get away with the family, while giving everyone some personal space. Located next to the shoreside of the lake with private beach gives us lots of options for entertainment. Hot tub, walk along the private pier or beach, drinking hot coca by the fire pits, watching sunset, are all fun things within walking distance from the unit.

Enjoyed our stay, close to everything, great amenities. Photos are a bit deceiving, you are not right on the lake. Livingroom furniture and carpeting could use an update.

The location is very accessible to all and is very clean. We are all satisfied with the place.

The check in process for this property was horrible. The lack of communication for the office handling this property and the communication sent via email and tex message did not match. The house was mediocre and did not appear as nice as on the photos. The location of the property was good but due to the terrible check in experience I will most likely not ever use them again.

Our family couldn't have asked for a better location for our vacation this year. The water access and pool view were incredible! The home was also very clean upon arrival and a comfy place to come home to after a day out on the water. The local staff was also amicable and helpful. Well done all around.

The location is convenient. The home is cute and clean. The carpet is worn, the stove is cracked and the dishwasher doesn’t work. However we would stay here again.

We stayed here in July with our family of 8, including our (grown) kids, ages 20 - 26, for our first-time visit to Lake Tahoe. We have a mixed review of this home, so it really depends what you’re looking for.
PROS:
Proximity to the shore. The beach is a short walk away, but be cautioned that although this property is listed as having a “partial lake view” you can NOT see the lake from any room of this home.
In fact, the introductory language in the listing for this property (“Enjoy the shimmering lake views from this spacious South Lake condo…”) is misleading and simply false. You will not see the lake from this condo.
Proximity to grocery stores and downtown/Heavenly. The main shopping and restaurant area is only about 1 mile away - an easy walk and even easier electric scooter ride away. There are 2 full grocery stores within a block or two away, which is very convenient, as well as a bakery, CVS, etc.
CONS:
Lack of natural light or views of any kind from the condo. We were immediately disappointed by how dark it is in this home during the day. The pictures make this home look much lighter than it actually is (and we had sunny weather). There are skylights that bring in some light but just be warned that there’s minimal natural light. Additionally, although you can’t really tell in the listing photographs, the small deck on this condo overlooks the parking lot and fits max 4 people.
Dated/worn furniture and decor. The furniture is dirty and worn. There’s one (not 2, as pictured) easy chair in the living area that is broken and despite earlier comments on this in the reviews, it has not been repaired or replaced. The mattresses are uncomfortably hard (recognizing this is pretty subjective) and clearly old as they “bowl” in the middle.
* If you are staying in the summer, note that there is no air conditioning in this home. It does cool down during the night but the afternoons and evenings can be quite warm, especially in the loft (extremely warm) and master bedroom. There are fans for each room, however. Also, there are sky lights in the master and loft area bedrooms so if you are a person who needs your room to be dark in the morning, know that you’ll be wakened by the sun shining on you very early in the AM. :)
We had to call Vacasa to hunt down the code for the pool/hot tub area as there were no welcoming materials or instructions to be found and the front desk made clear that they do not service the VRBO condos (which makes sense).
Overall, we’d give this place an “average” rating, at least for a summer stay. It may be more pleasing in the winter when you don’t need AC and can use the nice stone fireplace, but the furniture needs to go and it should not be listed as a “Lake View” property.

Good location, dated property
The location is good, close to the pool and beach access which was nice. The property is extremely dated though and needs some attention. The family room carpet needs cleaned there are stains all over and the one chair is broken. One side of the kitchen sink doesn’t drain. One bed downstairs needs a new mattress, unless you and your spouse like sinking towards each other in the middle. The pillows are all flat too.

Everything but the Grill
Lots of room, comfortable beds, could use maybe an extra pot or two and definitely a sponge, but my only serious complaint is the lack of a grill.
Best service of all, THE SHUTTLE!!!! So dependable and courteous! Thanks . Also a shout out to the front desk, Jacob! So helpful and willing.

Bad management
Loved where it’s located, however the pictures are misleading and the house furniture is too old. Very worn down , downstairs as you first walk in it gives a moldy smell, the box springs of the bed are horrific, sheets had others people’s hair as if they didn’t wash the sheets, blankets had stains, really feel anxious sleeping on the beds but we were left with no other choice but to stay since we drove from 4 hours away. Maintenance never showed up to fix one of the beds on the loft very loose and squeaky. VRBO has the hidden fee not included in the price you pay when you make the reservation so heads up people!! This pictures are very misleading and left family disappointed with the presentation of this property. Management was not helpful and neither was the representative at VRBO the call failed and never followed up and called to make things right!!! Two stars only for the convenience of location and accessibility to the grocery stores

Satisfactory Stay
We have stayed at Lakeland Village many times in the past and like to try out different units each time. This one was the most spacious we’ve stayed in and the three full baths make it super comfortable for staying with a group. Cleanliness was not up to our standards as we found food and candy wrappers on the floor and it had an overall feeling of needing a deep clean. Also, kitchen does not have a pantry or empty cabinets so all food storage must be on top of the counters. Overall location and amount of space was good, but needs better cleaning.

Girls weekend
My friends and I decided to take a weekend trip to Lake Tahoe after Stagecoach was canceled for the second time. This townhouse was in a great location as it was walkable to shops, restaurants, and the lake. It was the cleanest though when we arrived. We found confetti on the stairs, our trash cans in the rooms weren’t empty, and there was hair in two of the showers. There was also limited cooking utensils and pans. Overall it was a good stay though

Super roomy 3-story condo
Loved the three story layout. 4 bedrooms, plus loft with 2 beds, afforded plenty of room and sleeping choices. Lake and private beach was just a few short steps from the condo. Plenty of storage with closets and dressers. And thrilled we had our own washer and dryer. We'll definitely be back!!!

Great spot - photos online way better than in person
Outdated and worn out accoutrements and furnishings and utensils and utilities. Looks great online but when you get there it’s not a dump but not far from it. Great location though
