Comfy unit with great views of the mountains. Great trailheads close by to explore. Buffalo Mountain above the unit never disappoints!

The unit was exactly as described in the listing. Good location, centrally located for skiing & food. Beds were comfortable and the layout of the unit worked for our family. I would consider renting this property again.

Very thoughtfully decorated and furnished condo. Thank you. My sole request: please please replace the carpet. It is way overdue. I used to rent my property in this very complex and would feel good about renting with a carpet in this state. Time to replace it!

This place was a perfect home for a week of skiing. Lots of room to spread out for 3 adults and 2 teenagers. The only improvement I would suggest is a better mattress on sofa bed or provide a memory foam.

This property is in great shape and has all the amenities for a ski trip. Wifi was a bit slow at only 20mbit, but otherwise the apartment had everything we needed. Highly recommended for those who want to ski and not stress about logistics

2nd time staying at this property. No problems, will return next year

Inside accommodations were nice. There is a 3 mile uphill windy rd to the condo, so be prepared in winter. Condo sits 2 flights of stairs below the parking lot makes for fun lugging bags. Upstairs neighbors have lots of kids, sounds like they are coming through the ceiling all day and night. Called the management company but nothing improved. Hot tub is also down a steep set of stairs from the clubhouse . Would not stay here again due to the crazy hill and stairs.

The unit was comfortable, bright, and spacious. The kitchen was well-equipped beyond all expectations, and the appliances are newer than what appears in the photos. The reserved parking space is in a covered carport, so the need to brush snow off the car each morning was minimal. We didn't notice any noise from surrounding neighbors. Despite having a lot of snowfall during the week, the road and parking lot were well-maintained, as were the stairs and walkways. Our group definitely enjoyed our week there.
However, if a panoramic mountain view is on your list of must-haves, this particular unit may not be the place for you. Unlike many of the Wildernest properties, this one is nestled into a hill, and two flights of stairs below the parking lot. You're tucked into a quiet wooded lot. If that's not a concern, you'll have an enjoyable stay here.

The trail head for lily pad and Buffalo cabin train are less then 1 minute away. We loved the location and the view

Love the location being at the top of the road in the mountains! True mountain getaway yet easy access to Silverthorne/Frisco/Dillon. Lots of great day trips from there.
The condo had nice open space in the main living area. Kitchen had nice new appliances. The main bedroom was spacious and the second bedroom was a bit tight with the two twin beds.
Only small negatives were: 1) the screen on the second bedroom was missing so if you opened the window, lots of bugs came in (room was too stuffy to not open it); and 2) the carpet in the entire place could use a good cleaning.

Excellent Value
Clean and spacious; well supplied kitchen; the deck is small but adequate for two (maybe 4) with good, but not spectacular, views. The highlight for us was its proximity (1/10 of a mile) to two trailheads, each of which are pathways into a wide range of hiking trails.

Quiet and comfy
The condo was clean and comfy, including kitchen, linens, and bedding. Not as many extra spices/food basics as most places we’ve rented before. Loved the location that was quiet, near several trails, and with a nice forest view out the back. Only have two complaints: the check-in process was terrible. The property management company sent multiple emails saying they’d send me check-in info just before our stay but it never came (I checked junk mail several times in the days leading up to our trip). Emailed and texted and got no response. Then when I called, their phone system was not working right to get me to their on call person and I had to call twice and leave message before finally getting a call back a while later. They tried to say I didn’t hit the right numbers but I know I did, twice! Not good customer care! Not apologetic or anything for their bad service. Tried to make it seem like my fault. And then they had the wrong code in the unit for accessing the clubhouse with the hot tub. By the time I heard back from them to get the right one it was too late to be able to use it. Be aware, the customer care isn’t as good as the many times I’ve rented from individuals and not a property management company. Other than that, the unit was great.

Great, quiet place for ski trip
Condo unit is in great condition, stocked with all the essentials for cooking / cleaning / etc. Location is easy to find with the given directions, located in a quite area at the top of the Wildernest ridgeline. Easy access to any of the Summit County resorts, close to Dillon/Silverthorne/Frisco shops and restaurants, would definitely recommend!

2/27 ski getaway
This was a very nice property. All of the appliances were top of the line, which made cooking our own meals a breeze. We really enjoyed having a washer and dryer in the unit. Thanks for a great stay.

Perfect
Visiting summit county with my two teenage sons for a week of snowboarding and our stay at Wildernest couldn’t have been any better. Great central location to all of the ski areas we wanted to hit, convenient to getting into town for food and entertainment. Our place was clean and had all the amenities we needed to cook meals, entertain ourselves and do laundry to boot.

Cozy condo in the trees
This condo worked out perfectly for my family of 4. The condo was as advertised and I appreciated no surprises! The neighbors upstairs were a little nosy in the evenings (I think their kids were running up and down the stairs) but it was not a big deal. The couches were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again!

Just as advertised
Comfortable unit with fully stocked kitchen as advertised. Bed very comfy, and my back is very finicky. Beautiful forest view from balcony. Only negative was the igniter on grill did not work and we had to run to Lowe’s to buy a lighter.

Spacious, comfortable, well-furnished, up the mountain near 2 hiking trailheads
I would like to have given 5 stars, but gave 4 due to washing machine (a must-have for me) not working during my 11-night stay and seems that management knew that before my arrival, but they did apologize and give partial refund. Otherwise, I loved everything about the unit. Note that all kitchen appliances and some furniture have been upgraded since photos taken so it is even nicer than shown here and all the pots, pans, and dishes of every size looked new. You will hear footsteps of renters above and we had a herd of elephants up there for 3-4 days, but at least their bedtime/waketimes were very close to ours so it was okay, actually a bit comical. The next guests upstairs were a lot quieter, so your results may vary. I am a light sleeper and I slept like a log. We heard zero road noise, airplanes, dogs, etc., so overall very peaceful and beautiful setting. Beds were comfortable, couches extremely so. We never ran out of hot water for showers. The view out the back wall-of-windows was absolutely beautiful. Don't miss the hike up to Lily Pad Lake from the trailhead just past the condo complex.

snow heaven
What a nice escape - located at the top of the hill it seems, lovely view into wooded space so you really feel alone and private. Located on the lower floor so some stairs to navigate, but really appreciated that carport with all the snow we got that weekend. Master bedroom is spacious, so much space I am surprised they don't have a king sized bed in there. Master bathroom was sufficient in size and the showerhead was nice with good pressure. Beds are comfortable, slept great. Lots of closet and dresser space. Having laundry in the unit is always a plus so you go home with clean clothes! Living room fireplace was on a timer and really heated up the space in the mornings. Brown couches were comfortable. Long dining table allowed us to put a puzzle at one end and have room to eat at the other end (it's different than the picture, bench seats on both sides, two chairs at ends, plank style table). Used the grill, stove and oven without issues. Plenty of kitchen supplies. Thermostat was responsive, stayed pretty warm and the afternoon sun through all the windows gave it amazing light all day long. Close enough to walk to the snowshoe trails. There were snow shovels and some sleds in the closet which was perfect for when we visited. Nice entry space to drop wet gear without tracking it inside. Pretty quiet for a condo, could hear the people above walking occasionally but it wasn't loud enough to be distracting or annoying. Drawbacks: DVD player is just DVD not Blueray (picky but honet). Queen instead of King bed (but that's being picky I know). Lower level means the plows push all the snow down your stairs and crashing into your front door if it's a snowy season. Could use a couple throw blankets for the living room? I would absolutely recommend and stay again.

Better than Expected !
This was a very nicely accommodated condo.... comfortable, inviting and very clean. All of the appliances worked well. The kitchen has everything to cook full meals, including spices. The property management was awesome, very friendly, very accommodating. On Check In day, we could not find the condo, but someone stayed on the phone giving us directions until we found it. We extended our stay and property management made this easy and affordable for us. I will come back to this place for our next ski vacation.

great affordable place
place was great and super affordable. only issue was snow removal both on the stairs and in the parking lot. one of us just had foot surgery and it was a bit scary for her navigating the steps and parking lot. we called about it and it took all day for them to respond.

Loved our stay here!
Sky Run is in an excellent location, an hours drive to 5 ski resorts. The place is large and furnished really nicely. We also had access to the shared hot tub which was perfect after a long day at the slopes. Would recommend.

LOVED our stay here! Perfect for a family or groups of friends. Close and easy access to multiple Colorado ski hills. The hot tub is a nice addition too. Would stay here again.
