The location was truly amazing, very close to Vatican city and could walk all around. Great restaurants, shops and easy access to transportation to go around the city. It was comfortable and lot of space for a family to stay in. Much better option and more affordable than a hotel for the space.
One of the guests showers is too tight and the shower curtain will cling to you while you shower. It would be better to have a shower door or figure out a way to expand it.

quite small and not new apartments with one separate bedroom

Good location. Easy check-in/out
Great communication with the host.
Spacious
Good wifi
Bear in mind the following CONS:
Little bit noisy (you could hear thru the walls people coming in/out at night).
Needs better sound-proofing
Not much natural light
Worn-out bedsheets/pillows
Shower leaking
Not big deal for a couple of days but could be a problem for longer stays.
Overall we had a good stay.

Tremendous value for money -- it was affordable, and the host allowed six of us to stay there. The room price was discounted compared to alternate accommodations, but the photos were brilliant on booking.com. When we arrived, we found the price matched what we should have expected. It was all good as we couldn't have afforded a better place anyhow - just a surprise compared to expectations.
The host stated the sliding door that gave privacy to a bedroom was broken by previous bookings, but it hadn't been fixed., He didn't show much interest in fixing it until a fairly vigorous phone call and called around with a screen, but we had already hung dirty (unwashed) white bed sheets from the previous booking as a privacy screen. Kitchen cupboards weren't exactly clean.

Amazing location, just a couple of minutes from the St. Peter's basilica. A lot of shops and palces to eat nearby. Also close to public transport to all parts of the city. The appartment is big and spacious and looks nice. And again - the location is wow.
Not something that the host can change but it is very noisy. The walls are thin and we could hear all the other residents going through the hall, voices echoing. The doors are very noisy too, slamming constantly. Also some repairs on the facilities were needed. The host was very kind to come several times to do quick fixes but the troubles repeated and it was obvious that some more significant repairs were needed. But it was very good overall. We would chose the same place if we visit again.

directly at the Vatikan Walls, everything you need was in walking distance. just around the corner, we found a super nice pizza-takeaway that was not too touristy :-)

Spacious! Very clean. Great location! The tiny pizzeria next door has amazing pizza and pasta, and is very affordable, so convenient for a quiet dinner in.

A great apartment. with two bedrooms and separate bathrooms, it is a great choice for families and friends. Kitchen is well equiped for cooking. Saved much money from expensive restaurants, this is especially important for couples with kids. Just a few footsteps from the Basilica of St. Peter. a short walk to public transports.

no natural light. Beds were not comfortable for two. only 1 teaspoon was provided. one of the coffee mugs had a huge crack leaving only one other. shower in second bedroom was dirty.

Good for a low mobility movement person. Only two steps to get into building, otherwise lots of room and flat. Perfect central location. less than 5 minutes from Vatican and St Peter's Church. The apartment had a lot of room to move around for our family and the walker my mom uses. Tons of restaurants to choose from in the area. Laundromat was two minutes away, and very reasonable to have our laundry done for us. A five minute walk brought us to several more neighborhoods, all of which were interesting and fun to explore.
Only one true bed. The others were couch/beds. We knew there was one bed/couch in the living room, but did not realize the other bedroom was also a bed/couch. We had our disabled mother with us and this made it difficult for her to be comfortable. (She could not use the other bedroom, it was to small for her to move around in) The drain in the handicap bathroom was VERY slow. We had to turn off the water in-between soaping and shampooing so it didn't run into the hallway. The owner was informed and offered to come fix it right away, but we asked he wait until after we left. Hopefully he has fixed this, otherwise you have to mop the water back into the bathroom towards the drain.

Excellent location with good value for money. Spacious enough for two couples and it can even be expanded to three couples. Friendly to senior folks with restricted mobility. The only stairs are 2-3 steps on the front door. Washing machine was useful.
We stayed for 8 days and we had to take out our own trash. We cooked meals but there was no cooking spatula for frying but only a rounded spoon, which is normally used for soup. One shower had no curtain and it drains directly on the floor so whenever we take a shower everything in that bathroom would get wet so we had to clean after every time we take a shower. No towel and sheet replacement for the full 8-day stay. Washing machine had no instructions at first so it took time for us to use it after the detailed instructions were sent to us.
