The location is really convenient from the airport.
Not many outlets. I had to unplug a kettle to charge my phone and then wait until it’s full to put my laptop on charge. There was one free socket behind the bed though but my charger didn’t fit because the bed was too close to the wall.

cant think of anything bad to say about Freeda's Freeda was so kind, frendly and helpful. ok some (not me) might feel its a little bit far out but i think a 46 minut for £2 is acceptable

The day before arrival Freeda sent me messages with instructions on how to access the room and gave some information about the surrounding area.
It was quite easy to get from the airport at night and I had no issues checking-in after 23:00.
The room was good, all the necessary supplies were available. The bed was comfortable. There was only a light blanket available, but Freeda gave me the warmer one after my request. The bathroom was okay, it had everything I needed

Friendly and prompt service and communication. The room was clean and comfy….very nicely decorated too!
Could use a blackout curtain to block out more light in the morning.

Located in residential area within city proper (west Toronto). Simply a place to sleep, quiet.
Little too warm, shared bathroom, small tight bedroom, no extras---renting a bed for a place to sleep, no parking.

This is a TERRIBLE place to rent. Very unprofessional. The owner doesnt mention when you can check out of her residence and knocks on your door at 9.15 a.m asking wjen you will check-out!!! It woke me and my partner up in a startle! The mattress is very old and uncomfortable. We both woke up with a rye neck!! And most of all, the window handle was broken the minute we walked in. It just fell off and this owner doesnt even have a damn phone number to contact her about this or anything!!! Very unprofessional. And the next day, she had the audacity to text me and say the window handle costs $210 and wants to know how I will pay for it!!! What the hell!!! This woman knew very well her window handle was broken but wants to push the blame onto her guests!!! She is not only a bad host, she is a SCAMMER!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. DONT CHECK IN. Its is worthless for your money and you even get SCAMMED! I told her if she contacts me again, I will call the police. Very bad experience. I would give her 0 stars if I could. BEWARE OF STAYING HERE!!!
The owner doesnt mention the check out time on her profile. Not her phone number either. SHE IS UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE AND A SCAMMER!!! She knows about the flaws in her rooms but will blame you for it and demand money!! A cheat and a thief!

Located close to the airport, which is what we wanted.
Overall, the place was clean and the bed fine.
A double bed feels small for 2. The place looks old, not attractive. The shared bathroom was not particularly appealing.

The property was clean and well maintained. Each room has a lock in case one wishes to leave the building. The instructions were very clear on how to enter which made arriving and going to my room easy.

Comfortable place to stay.
To fill drinking water from the bathroom sink.

Comfortable room, clean, well kept. We ended up being delayed by 5 hours getting into Canada due to flights, and Freeda could not have been more accommodating with helping with self check in and providing regular information and response to messages. Freeda was so very friendly and helpful. Nice bathroom and shower, everything you need while travelling. The bed was so comfortable, plenty of storage to unpack, even for 2 of us, place to heat up food if you need to. The coffee machine Freeda brought in on day 2 made it even more awesome! 😊
Couldn't open the outside windows due to the house being internally airconned. Not an issue as it was hot, but too much aircon makes your throat very dry and scratchy. It is a personal preference though and I had to write something I didn't like.

Communication was regular
Room wasn't clean, previous occupants clothes were left
Being woken up after 10pm to insistent knocking on the door. Not great as a young solo traveler.

Great location for those saying short time, one bus to Pearson airport, the same bus will drive you almost to the city center. Shoppers store nearby as well as a few convenience stores. Room is clean and cousy.
It's not really soundproof as it's an old house so you can hear well when someone is talking out on the corridor or walking upstairs, hasn't been an issue to me but if you plan to go to sleep early may be an issue.

Everything was perfect. The bus station is a few minutes from the house. There are a few shops around. The owner is kind and helpful. Great stay for good value 🙂
