As close as you can get to the crag at EPC! Location was amazing. The free daily breakfast is homemade eggs and beans with fresh tortillas, cooked to order - a great way to kick off a day of climbing. Staff was friendly, rooms were nice. We had a few issues with our room and staff corrected them immediately which was awesome. Balconies have great views of the mountains. Walkable to nearby restaurants. The hotel offers a shuttle van for airport pickups and rides back to Monterrey for a great price.
The bathrooms were probably as nice as you'll find as in the area but the strong mildew smell was a little tough.

Great hearty breakfast.

Location, breakfast, scenery, friendly staff. Overall the property was eclectic and fun, they're doing great things to make it a fun oasis for visitors.
Hotel dog barked all night. There was no toilet paper in the room (maybe this is normal?). I don't really watch TV but it's tiny and only works with DVD player.

The people were wonderful, breakfast was very good, and the view from our room was spectacular. The owner was able to get our trailer wiring fixed that was dragged on the road for several miles. We were invited to his birthday party, very special.
The shower water could have been hotter.

The location is great. It's the closest hotel to Potrero Chico. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. They don't speak English but I expected that.
They charge an extra 6% if you want to pay by credit card; I would have brought cash if I had known this. The Wi-Fi needs to be improved as it wasn't accessible in our room (out of range). The water pressure is also lacking but warm water was available at all times we needed it.

The breakfast was always delicious and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We loved the facility.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t enjoy.

Great location, very good breakfast included with room. Manager let us store luggage in the office after checkout.
Pretty expensive for a basic room. We could either have a room with heat or with a working TV, but not both.

The location is excellent- only 5 minutes walk from most of the climbing. The views are excellent. The staff was very friendly, and responded quickly to most of our complaints. The breakfast was hot and freshly prepared every morning.
When we arrived, we were told that the fee for using a credit card to pay was 6%, which I thought was exhorbitantly high.
When we entered our hotel room, it was obvious that it hadn't been cleaned beforehand. The towels and linens were filthy and covered in hair. The staff immediately rectified the problem with new bedding, but especially given the ongoing COVID pandemic, dirty bedding is simply unacceptable. We stayed for a week, and there was never an offer to clean the room during our stay.
The buffet breakfast on the first few days - which coincided with the new year holiday - was very nice. Aftet the hotel emptied out, the breakfast became very simple and repetitive. We asked for fruit, but were told most days they didn't have any. Staff stopped replacing the jugs in the water cooler and instead began charging guests for bottled water.
The wifi signal didn't reach our rooms, and could only be accessed by sitting next to the main office.
The water pressure/temperature in the shower were inconsistent.
On the last day of our trip, we were told that we had to check out at 12pm, even though the hotel was pretty much empty on the day we left. We had hoped that booking an overpriced taxi with the hotel would have allowed us a later checkout, but it was not to be.
We visited La Posada next door, and the difference in atmosphere was substantial. I think Lemuria hotel has tons of potential but definitely needs more engaged management.
In short, for $100 a night, the hotel is not a good value.

Location is great.
Just steps away from El Potrero Chico.
Breakfast are decent.
Nobody cleaned our room in more than a week. I'm wondering if they cleaned before we arrived. The shower had other people hair on it.
The isolation on that room was very poor. It was a cold place to say at least.

The hotel location is best of all places in EPC. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff is incredible; they are so very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They made me feel at home. I cannot wait to come back and stay here again.

really just the size of the room and the location.
No tv stations, just movies available at the front desk, when you could find someone at the front desk. It took about 1/2 hour to wire the disc player to the tv, no HDMI connections. No wi-fi. except for about 10 minuets a day. we received 1 day of room service, because we had asked twice in the morning when we left for the day. The shower floor step rug was never changed. we had to stay an extra day, so the agony was longer than expected.

Lemuria has the best view of all the hotels in El Potrero Chico. With Jorge and his family, I always feel welcome and taken care of - they are incredible hosts!

The room is spacious enough, no problem with hot water, you can rent Blu-ray discs to watch movies. The view is amazing. The hotel has private parking and you are couple of minutes walk from the climbing area. Couple of places around where you can buy some typical Mexican snacks and beer.
No covid related hygiene measures, so only go if you think you are immune. Room was worn down a bit, some rust in the bathroom and bed backrest's textile could be replaced already. Be aware that there might be an event at the hotel or at the open air place at the back of the hotel, the music can be really loud.
