About this house rental

Embedded in a park-like landscape, with its own cactus garden and surrounded by a wonderful natural stone wall, the Quinta dos Mochos II lies on one of the hills between the beautiful towns of Moncarapacho and Estoi. From here you have a wide view of the landscape to the sea. The beautiful sandy beaches of Fuzeta and Fuzeta Island are about 8 km away, as is the typical port city of Olhao, from where you can quickly enjoy the island flair of Armona, Culatra or Farrol by ferry. Trips to Faro or Tavira, one of the most beautiful towns in the Eastern Algarve, are also worthwhile. A car is recommended.
Your holiday home is built in Portuguese style and has typical St. Catharina laid tiles. There are 2 bedrooms with a double bed or a large French bed and a child's bed and an adjoining bathroom with shower and toilet. Bedrooms have spacious wood-paneled closets. There is also another large bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet and BD. The living and dining area with fireplace is generously designed and adjoining is the open kitchen with a wonderful view of the garden and landscape. Adjacent to the living area is the wonderful terrace, where you can relax with a view of the garden and a clear view of the sea.
In the further outside area there is a barbecue area, as well as a large sculptural stone table under a shade of carob tree, where I can feast and have a glass of the typical Vinho Verde.
You can also expect a 10mx5mxT2. 5m large outdoor pool, where you can refresh yourself and relax at any time.
Your holiday home is ideal for families with 2 or 3 children, but couples and groups up to 6 people will also feel comfortable with us.

Lovely and spacious home with masses of outdoor space. Worth noting that pool may be shared with 1 other property on same site. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

Casa espaçosa, imensa luz, apetrechada com tudo o que é necessário. Adoramos o espaço exterior com vegetação local, sem "relva algarvia" , verde durante o ano inteiro... Os cães são uma delícia, principalmente Kimba (espero ter escrito bem), um verdadeiro gentledog... Jutta, ótima ânfitria...

Una casa encantadora

Una casa rodeada de naturaleza, muy agradable, amplia y cómoda. Muy tranquila y, a la vez, muy bien comunicada. Ideal para explorar las Ría Formosa y sus islas. Jutta ha sido extremadamente amable y nos ha hecho sentir en casa desde el primer momento. Ha sido un placer hospedarnos en su Quinta. La piscina es ideal para los días de más calor.

Nous avons passé un séjour agréable les 5 premiers jours... puis nous nous sommes retrouvés nez à nez avec une autre famille dans la piscine alors que dans l'annonce était indiqué "piscine privée"... nous avons donc écourté notre séjour mais la propriétaire compréhensive nous a remboursé les 3 nuits non passées dans la maison. A savoir donc que la piscine est partagée ! La clim aurait été également la bienvenue! A part cela la maison est charmante !

Wir haben entspannte zwei Wochen im sehr geräumigen Landhaus verbracht. Die sehr nette Vermieterin, die etwas entfernt auf dem Grundstück wohnt, hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und uns jederzeit mit gutenTipps, Angeboten und sogar eigenen Eiern versorgt. Unsere Kinder hatten großen Spaß mit dem Pool und auch mit den drei Hunden, die das Grundstück bewachen und immer wieder vorbei kamen. Einziger Haken am Haus im Juli/August ist seine mäßige Isolierung, so dass es tagsüber auch im Inneren sehr heiß werden kann. Im Schatten auf der Terrasse lässt es sich aber gut aushalten. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit in der Quinta dos Mochos!

wir fühlten uns an diesem schönen ort sehr willkommen. das haus ,der sehr schöne parkänliche garten und die gastgeberin selbst ermöglichten uns ruhige,entspannte und lustige tage. die tiere rundherum taten ihren teil dazu. gerade auch zu dieser jahreszeit-januar/februar-ist es in der quinta dos mochos sehr angenehm. wir kochten jeden abend in der wunderschönen küche,heizten den kamin und die gasöfen und badeten in der badewanne.sehr gemütlich. auch die terrasse und der grosse ,tolle pool wurden von uns genutzt,sobald die sonne sich zeigte. ich kann mir gut vorstellen,diesen ort mal wieder zu besuchen. vielen dank dafür.

We enjoyed our stay and Jutta and Asadulla were charming and helpful hosts. Their three dogs were friendly and sociable but barked a little at times, thought were always quiet at night. The property is well equipped and ideal for those who like to cook in and make use of the fabulous local produce.

Nous sommes très heureux de notre séjour dans cette belle quinta. Tranquillité, nature, piscine, soleil et brise marine, que demander de mieux! Jutta est une propriétaire extrêmement gentille et très à l'écoute. Nos garçons ont tout aimé dans cette propriété, la piscine, la verdure, les cigales, et surtout les trois chiens et les poules! Jutta est à l’ecoute Et très réactive. Arrangeante et très gentille. Grande maison , ombragée, piscine très agréable, barbecue extra, grand jardin: cactus oliviers vigne...abritant des poules , oies, chiens, un caméléon. Seul point négatif: les moustiques. Mais les moustiquaires fonctionnent bien. Un regal

In diesem Haus mit diesem Ambiente, drinnen wie draußen, genießt man den Urlaub. Alles ist sehr gepflegt. Die großen Hunde sind total lieb. Hier kann man auch locker einen kompletten Tag am Pool verbringen. In der nächsten Stadt, vier KM nach Moncarapacho, bekommt man alles, auch gute Restaurants bei der Kirche. Und zu den Fähren für einen Strandtag am Meer sind's nur 15 Minuten mit dem Auto (Olhao, Fuzeta). Es war ein Traumurlaub! Komme gerne wieder.

Well situated charming house with shared pool and a big garden

The house is really good situated: away from touristy places, 15 min drive from Faro, 7 min to Olhão on the same property with two other houses. The house is nice and big but could use A/C or at least mosquito screens that would allow opening windows for some ventilation in the rooms without inviting in the sucking beasts or geckos. The Pool is not private for the house only but it is shared with at least one other rented apartment. Wifi is really fast and steady all over the house and at the pool. The landlady is really nice and brought us fruits and fresh eggs from the chicken that we were allowed to feed with our leftovers. She will tell you where to go and what to see and is very discrete. My kids also enjoyed playing with her two big dogs living on the property. They are absolutely nice, well brought up and totally relaxed dogs. We have enjoyed our 3 weeks stay even with the occasional construction noise from the construction site nearby and miss the sun, the heat, the "music" of the midday crickets and the two dogs now that we are back in rainy Germany.
