About this villa rental
When you drive into the hills of Boavista, you immediately see why this area is called Boavista (beautiful view). Via a private driveway you drive up to our attractive and stylish holiday home Colinas Roxas (purple hills). You will enjoy this holiday...
One evening, when the sun coloured the sky red, pink and purple, we renamed the Boavista hills the purple hills (after a poem and a song that we know). That's how we came up with the name for our house.
Boavista is a very popular area. It is very quiet and all the houses and villas are nicely spread over the hills. The area belongs to the small village of Quelfes. But it is also 5 minutes by car from Moncarapacho (with the nearest supermarket) and 10 minutes from the lively fishing town Olhão.
Casa Colinas Roxas is about 20 minutes drive from the old, cosy harbour town Faro (and the airport).
If you climb the hills behind our house, you see the sea and the nature reserve Ria Formosa lie. The nearest beach is the authentic and cosy fishing village Fuseta (15 minutes).
The house have smart tv and netflix.
The 2 single beds can be place together to make a double bed if required by the guest.
"Since May 2023 the council of Olhão implemented a tourist tax. This tourist tax is mandatory to be paid by tourists who checked in for their stay in hotels, resorts, local accommodations (AL), and campsites after the 1st of May 2024. The tourist tax value comes on top of the already paid rental sum. From the 1st of November untill the 31st of March tourist tax is € 1 per person per night with a maximum of 7 nights. From 1st of April untill 31st of October it is € 2 per person per night with a maximum of 7 nights. Children under 13 are exempt from paying tourist tax."
