About this house rental
Our holiday home is a 4 bedroom chalet, specifically designed with two families in mind.
It is situated in Snowmass Village, a new subdivision in Ohakune. It has mountain views and is within walking distance to town, the supermarket and restaurants.
It is fully furnished with quality chattels. The large living room has a gas fire for instant heat, LCD TV with Freeview and a DVD player. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, gas hobs and electric oven. There are two toilets, two showers, a drying room and a washing machine and dryer.
Two bedrooms have queen sized beds, electric blankets, pillows and winter weight duvets. One room also has an ensuite.
There are two bunk rooms, one with four single beds, the other with a double bunk with a single above, each bunk has electric blankets and pillows. Perfect for kids!
We have off street parking for two cars including a single carport.
The house is really warm, fully insulated and double glazed. We have gas hot water and a monitored alarm.
Please bring sheets for the adult rooms, sleeping bags or bedding for the bunk rooms, pillow cases, towels and tea towels.
Special conditions:
This chalet is designed for families and not for large groups of adults. Maximum of 4 adults per stay.

Fantastic clean, comfortable, spacious, well equipped house with everything we needed for our 2 families holidaying together. Easy walk to the middle of town, 2 minute walk to the playground, mountain views from the kitchen. Lovely warm house, loads of room, fully equipped with everything we could need, fantastic hosts. We had one small issue which they fixed immediately with great communication. Really recommend this lovely house for an Ohakune stay.

We had a lovely stay at this house. Love this location for being a short walk to playground for young (and older) kids, perfect outdoor area for evenings or days you don't head up the mountain, heaps of dvds and games. Heaps of space for 2 families. Fireplace kept the whole place super warm and cozy. Would definately stay again! Side note - you do have to take own portacot etc which limits you re having snow gear aswell. Wasn't a huge issue for us.

This was a great house for 2 families with 4 young kids. Lovely warm house, very clean and nice furnishings, and great location near the awesome playground. Host was very responsive and helpful with questions.

A great property that exceeded our expectations. We were two families with small children and there was more than enough space, chairs, plates and cutlery to cater for our large group. The gas fire place was an added bonus during winter, as was the view of the mountain from the kitchen and deck. An easy walk to the "Carrot" playground and to the local eateries for our kids (the youngest being 4.5 yrs old) down a footpath close by to the property (remember to bring a torch for an evening walk). We will definitely be back!

Would definitely recommend staying here - really nice open plan layout and everything was very comfortable. Plenty of heaters so the place was warm. Also has a beautiful view of the mountain.

I have marked down cleanliness. The house was clean. But the en-suite was not. The toilet bowl required scrubbing by me and there was molten toothpaste on the sink around the sink hole. Surprisingly the toilet roll was folded to indicate it was clean. Otherwise all good

The property was amazing. Very clean and so warm that we had to turn the heating off every night (in the middle of winter). Location is fantastic, quiet and with a lovely view of the mountain. Couldn't be better.
