Islamorada is synonymous with the best fishing - gulf, backcountry or ocean. There are plenty of guides, charters or boat rentals. You can also try for hogfish, snapper, mahi, tuna, bonefish, tarpon, snook, & more. Right at the Anglers Reef docks you can catch mangrove snapper, ladyfish, jack crevalle, moonfish, grunts, mullet & barracuda depending on season. We had one lucky vacationer catch a 70 pound Tuna right off the docks.
For those who don't like fishing there is still a ton to do which is one of the reasons we chose Anglers Reef. The development and the Islamorada area have a lot to do for people who are not into fishing. Just hanging at our home on one of the four porches is enough of a full day for some.
Enjoy our spacious decks with a book or cocktail and the views of the turquoise waters and ocean breeze. Or enjoy the large community pool (heated in winter and cooled in summer!). And if that's not enough you can take a stroll thru the community or relax on the private beaches or you can launch Kayaks and Paddle boards right off our beaches.

Scuba/Snorkel! : Islamorada, long recognized as the 'Sport Fishing Capital of the World,' is now an icon among sport divers for a similar reason: a massive population of tropical marine life. High profile coral heads and broad ledges shelter huge congregates of French grunt and goat fish, while regal queen angelfish casually graze amid the reef recesses. Friendly green moray eels swim freely along the spur-and-groove channels, and reclusive nurse sharks lurk beneath the overhangs. Islamorada offers a wide variety of shallow coral reefs, mini walls, shipwrecks, and even an underwater habitat for scientific research, the Aquarius. Triplet girls and our 7yr old stayed for the week. They enjoyed the pool and went back and forth between the beach area and pool. We used the paddle boards and kayaks. The kids also fished at the dock and caught little snappers and grunts. We didn’t use the boat slips but many do and they go out to a sand bar directly in front of condos. The house is set up with everything you need to get through the week.

We’d never visited the Keys, and found this property to be outstanding. Islamorada has a couple of our now new favorite restaurants, we used the paddle boards on property multiple times, and it was close to all of our activities (snorkeling, kayaking the mangroves, and visiting tourist attractions in Key Largo, Marathon, and Key West. Scott had been exceedingly responsive before booking, checking in with us on the day of our arrival, made himself very available during the stay and after, even requesting we let him know that we arrived safely and without issue when it was late at night. The house was incredible and clean, with clean and new appliances; everything you could want. Great owner, great house, great community, and great area!

Great fully stocked house in gated community. Complete renters manual including local attractions. Very short walk to boat slips, large community pool, and private beaches. Ocean views from house, pool, and beaches. Immediate access to great ocean fishing/boating. Met amazing people at the pool. Fabulous vacation! Will book here again.

The house and the community it is located in are gems. A very quiet and relaxing place to unwind.
We were able to get all the pertinent information without delay from the owner, who was very obliging.

We had a great time. Relaxing by the pool, kayaking and paddle boarding on the water.
We had an issue with a tv in our master bedroom. Scott had a new bigger tv the next day. I totally recommend this place.

Our family escaped to Anglers Reef for the first week of the year and loved our time there. This property was perfect for our family of 4. We loved the views from the balconies and the location within the community. Scott was very communicative and helpful during our stay. We hope to come back and would definitely stay here again!

Everything about our stay at the Tipsy Turtle was perfection! The prorperty is amazing and was perfect for my husband and our adult daughter. My brother and his family had the property next to ours so it was convenient for us to walk back and forth. Scott was so easy to work with during every aspect of our stay. We loved waking up and sitting on the back porch drinking coffee and looking out at the ocean each morning. The pool and beach areas are great as well. The location is ideal for getting around with several restaurants within a few minutes walk or drive! We will definitely be back!

We have stayed at Anglers Way several times, but this is the first time we stayed in this unit. We chose this unit primarily because of the ocean views and the rate. We were not disappointed. We spent time on each of the four porches. The unit was homey and the furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances worked as expected. I will call out the dishwasher as being extremely quiet which is a benefit due to the open floor plan. Interactions with the host were positive and helpful. Probably the best indication of our stay is that we reserved the same unit while still there for 2024

Just as described. Perfectly appointed and awesome location. Close to everything. Pool and beaches were outstanding. Scott was quick to respond and very helpful. Would love to go again!

We had a wonderful vacation. My only “complaint” is that check out is at 9:30 am. Unless your flight is early, you’re stuck with a lot of idol time. However, I appreciate the necessity to do this in order to thoroughly clean. The house was well stocked and Scott was super responsive and easy to communicate with. We’ll definitely stay here again if they’ll have us!

My family and I have stayed in numerous properties all over the Keys and can honestly say Anglers Reef was the best location and amenities. We rented two different homes and had boat slips too! So nice to have the kayaks and paddleboards. Our host Scott was very responsive as well. Highly recommend!

This property is a part of a gated community with a heated salt water pool and access to its own beach area. It also has its own boat dock for those using board during their stay. Our children were sad to leave. We enjoyed all the amenities. We used the pool everyday and used the beach area to paddle board and kayak. The free equipment provided (life jackets, paddle boards, kayaks, and paddles) were extremely convenient. We didn’t find the beach great for snorkeling and swimming because of the large amount of sea grass in the water. The view of the sunrise and sunset is breathtaking from the property’s balconies. It’s also centrally located in Islamorada, so we ventured to both the neighboring key islands of Key Largo and Marathon during our stay. The property manager, Scott was responsive and helpful by text and phone when we needed anything. A water main break on U.S. 1 at Mile Marker 84.5 on Windley Key during our stay resulted in a boil water alert being disseminated. Scott promptly provided bottled water for us so we had done fresh water to drink while the water main was being repaired. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our time here so much. The place was absolutely perfect. It was spotless and well stocked. Lots of extras that some places don’t provide such as laundry soap, dishwasher soap, paper products, etc, even extra coffee in the cupboard. Things like that make all the difference. Communication with the owner was always quick and friendly. We will stay here again.

This condo worked perfectly for our family! There were two couples and our 17 year old son. Having two master bedrooms with attached bathrooms was very helpful. Our son slept on the pull out couch bed & said it was comfortable. There were plenty of extra sheets/bedding & towels. The kitchen was fully stocked & the dining room table with breakfast bar provided plenty of space for meals. The condo was immaculate! The 4 porch options were perfect for watching the sun rise/set! We rented a boat for the week so the location of the condo was perfect, only being a few steps away from the boat slip. The property was beautiful. The pool seemed a bit small for population of the community. It was always busy & we were never able to find an open lounge chair. The water was also warm so it wasn’t very refreshing on a hot day. We would highly recommend renting a boat for the week! We only attempted the pool once & decided to spend our days on the ocean. We fished, visited all the snorkeling spots & spent hours just driving watching for wildlife & looking at the beautiful waterfront houses.

This place was wonderful! Everything needed was found. Beautiful views from back upper and lower deck. Heated pool felt great and met several delightful people who have stayed in Anglers Reef every year. Definitely would return. Our stay was cut short due to a medical emercency but all is well now.

We had a great time! Wonderful property. Kids had a blast at the beautiful pool, fishing & kayaking & paddleboarding, etc. The pool overlooking the ocean was just what I needed. So relaxing. We are a big beach family, so if you are looking for a big sandy beach to play on and spend time swimming in the ocean, this location might not be a good fit (says my 15 year old who compared it to Destin & Hollywood & Clearwater beaches). Otherwise everything was as advertise and a wonderful stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again. 👍👍

Very clean and relaxing, everything was convenient. This is our second time staying in anglers reef. Best place to stay. Scott the owner was able to help us with all of our questions and did it very quickly. That’s a huge bonus with a rental. Thanks Scott! :)

We had a great stay with Scott! We had a slight hiccup in the beginning when our XL truck would not fit in the driveway but he was very responsive and helped provide an alternative solution ASAP. Could not have asked for a better host!

This was our first time in the keys and Islamorada. The house had everything we needed! By far the best location! Close to tons of things to do, great restaurants and having the kayaks and paddle boards available was a huge plus! We saw so much wildlife, sharks included! The pool and beach were so clean! Would absolutely recommend and stay here again!

Amazing House and Resort
Our family had an amazing stay at 121 Anglers Reef during our spring break. The house was exactly what we were looking for and was comfortable, clean, had plenty of space for our family of four as well as great amenities. As soon as we booked our stay the owner was super-attentive in providing us with all the necessary information and details to make our check-in process and stay worry-free and enjoyable. Anglers Reef over-delivered on our expectations and we enjoyed the pool, boating, fishing and the local restaurants of Islamorada. The resort is beautiful and its location is so convenient for all activities our family participated in. We would highly recommend this house and Anglers Reef to anyone looking for a memorable vacation in the Keys and look forward to going back soon!

Great spring break stay
My family enjoyed our stay and thought the ease of boating in an out of Angler's reef exceeded many other places we have stayed on Islamorada. The beaches and kayaks were a nice addition that we enjoyed every day as well. House was well stocked and Scott was very responsive.
