Make this special Plumas Pines villa your home base while you enjoy the spectacular scenery and activities in the Sierras, Plumas County! Located 1 hour from Reno or Tahoe, 2 1/2 hours from Sacramento and 4 hours from the San Francisco Bay Area, Graeagle is perfectly located to minimize your travel and maximize your vacation time.
WEDDING in the trip plans? We're 5 miles from the wonderful wedding venue in Cromburg, 20 Mile House. There are many other venues available. The Barn in Graeagle, various golf courses accommodate weddings, all are itemized here https://plumascounty.org/Weddings-and-reception-venues
This Townhome will accommodate 8 people. The nightly rate, $315, Is for 4 guests. Each additional guest adds $30 per night.
This large (2100 sq ft) home features four bedrooms and three bathrooms, well stocked kitchen, free high speed wifi and plenty of high tech entertainment options. The living room is equipped with a wood burning fireplace as well as a 55" curved 4K UHD TV with DISH satellite TV service which includes the Golf and Tennis channels and a DVR. There are also board games, books and a DVD library.
There are two master suites with king-sized beds and ensuite bathrooms. Both suites have TVs with all channels and DVR. The upstairs suite has a private deck overlooking the pond. Two more bedrooms - one with twin beds and TV with DVD only and one with queen bed ensure that up to eight individuals will be very comfortable staying here.
You will enjoy beautiful sunset views from the deck overlooking the pond, outfitted with gas grill and seating for eight. Cooks will appreciate the spacious, fully stocked kitchen with quality cookware and extra gadgets like the Ninja blender and Cuisinart ice cream maker and bread maker. The dining room also seats eight. There is an attic whole house fan which helps rapidly cool the house down in the evening, very welcome on hot summer days. Very few properties in this area have air conditioning, and although the nights are always cool, the days can be hot and it can take a few hours for a house to cool down. Closing the house in am when it is cool will minimize heat in afternoon. I just had an evaporative cooler installed in the living room so you won't have any trouble keeping the house cool now.
THE AREA AND OTHER ACTIVITIES
There is something for everyone in Plumas County. If you enjoy golf, this home is surrounded by the beautiful Plumas Pines Golf Resort and five other championship golf courses are within easy driving distance. Walk down to the Feather River to fish or swim, or head out to the nearby Gold Lakes basin for spectacular hiking, fishing, swimming and boating.
Graeagle is a quaint little historic logging town of small red and white buildings where you can enjoy shopping for jewelry, art, antiques, fine chocolates and more. Indulge in a yoga class or enjoy a glass of wine at the local wine bar, which also features live music, bonfires and s-mores for the kids (and adults) on weekend nights. Be sure to visit The Brewing Lair just outside of Blairsden, a micro-brewery with facilities for grilling, relaxing and socializing.
There are also many fine restaurants in the area offering cuisine in a variety of different settings. You will find everything from burgers and fries outdoors to casual country to fine dining equivalent to what you would expect in a major city.
There are ample additional activities for the whole family to enjoy. Graeagle features mini-golf, trail rides, paddle boating in the Mill pond and tennis courts. Just a few miles away is the small Johnsville museum with nature walks, displays and activities highlighting local nature and Gold Rush history.
Explanation of "No Pets" rule which is based on a pet allergy. If you bring a pet I must have carpets cleaned which requires an extra day between rentals---sadly, a cost of $500 passed on to you. There are other rentals that are able to welcome pets.

It was certainly a well located property.
It needs updating, with todays climate AC would be a nice addition.
A little more attention to the outside deck cleanliness the cobwebs in the higher windows need cleaning.
The property is well equipped especially in the kitchen and the owner is very nice.

Second time here, and happy again with this very well-stocked and maintained unit. The owner Linda is very responsive. She has installed an evaporative cooler in living room that cools the downstairs very well. Summers are hotter now, and it is almost a must now for our rentals to have some cooling. The patio on the pond is lovely for bbq and visiting.

Excellent for the 4 of us senior golfers.
Pretty warm at night with no a/c. There’s a new swamp cooler but unsure of its usage.
Listing shows there is 1 bathroom, actually 3, which is perfect!

Our family went up to spend the weekend with family for my nephews 3-day wedding celebration. Most of the guests were camping, but we stayed at this beautiful home, just minutes away. I cannot begin to say how COMPLETELY impressed we were from the moment we arrived until we left. First night I had 14 for dinner and this house was so well stocked, I did not have to use the paper plates and cups I had brought just in case. They even had a printer (with extra ink cartridges) which came in handy when my son had to revise his speech for the newlyweds. The rooms were perfectly appointed, (Essentially two master suites, one upstairs and one downstairs, plus two other bedrooms for the kids) furniture comfy and cozy, and we had room for everyone to just relax and have a good time! Everything about this house was perfect perfect perfect! The owner was so friendly and helpful, check-in and check-out was a breeze. It made for a wonderful family wedding weekend! Highly recommend!!

Beautiful spot on the lake surrounded by ducks, geese and raccoons. The deck is shaded until late in the afternoon so colder than other spots I’ve stayed at there. The house was a mixture of beautiful updates and junkie uncomfortable furniture. The beds. are so high that you need a step to get up in them. Overall nice but couldn’t wait to get back to my comfortable home.

Everything was perfect. It was a little confusing on Friday because they were doing street work at 7:00 AM and we had to move the cars out on to Lunday Lane.

Great location to meet with friends. The guys golfed, the ladies hung out at house/deck and caught up. Very chill. Everything we needed was there, and more. One couple had upstairs and one downstairs. Gave us all privacy. Linda was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a stay.

This home was well laid out with two en-suite bedrooms and a large hall bath for the other two bedrooms. It was very comfortable and well stocked with all the supplies you might need. The neighborhood was lovely with views of the mountains, golf course and majestic pines. Very easy to take walks and a short drive to Graeagle for dining and shopping. Lots of hiking opportunities in the area as well. We’d love to come bank!

This was the best property I've stayed at in the Plumas resort area. There wasn't anything you could possibly require that was not included. The best equiped Condo in the area.

A group of us traveled to Graeagle on a golfing outing. This unit was a great place for us located right in the Plumas Pones resort and handy to the clubhouse. The rooms were very well furnished and comfortable. One of the bedrooms was a little hot but the mobile fans supplied as a standard helped a lot in that regard (this is not unique to this property,,, friends who had stayed in similar floorplans confirmed they were also hot). The kitchen was well stocked with both utensils and a great assortment of sauces etc. Coffeemaker and Keurig supplemented by filters and an assortment of K-cups. Dealing with the "landlord" was a breeze. Questions were typically answered within hours - always co-operative and courteous. Would highly recommend this for a family of 4 or 5, or a group of golfing and/or fishing buddies.

Great stay at a wonderful location with pretty much everything you could possibly need!
I and 3 girlfriends came up to enjoy some hiking and beautiful weather and the house was just so perfect for us. We each had our own bedroom and the kitchen was appointed so well! We appreciated it having access to all kinds of things one would find in a home such as scissors and some ziploc bags for the sandwiches we took hiking and so on. The place was very clean and and we would totally come and stay again.

Father’s Day at Plumas Pines
This is one of the finest properties we have ever rented. Absolutely no issues from the time we arrived to the day we left. The home was very clean, exceptionally well stocked with dishes, cookware, towels and even baggies and aluminum foil. Linda really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.
We would definitely return.
