The location was amazing and the view was gorgeous! The layout was perfect for our group of 3 friends and the kitchen was well equipped - we cooked/prepared all of our meals at the condo!
Though the place was great, there were multiple hiccups because of the seemingly strained relationship between the Shoshone lodge and guests who “book through a third party.” The bell staff were fantastic and friendly, but when the bellman forgot our room number of his way to deliver our luggage and went to another room, they had no record of us as guests and had no way to contact us. He eventually found us, but it did result in one of our bags being dropped in a different room causing about an hour’s worth of furiously searching for the bag and an inability of Shoshone staff to help because we were third party guests. Everyone was friendly and as helpful as they could be, but it was frustrating for everyone being completely disconnected from their guest records. On the 4th day of our stay, we needed to use our car which had been parked in the lot with the parking pass on the dash since check in. When we got to the parking lot, the car was gone. After some conversations with the bell staff and the front desk staff, we were told it had been towed because it was plow day. The staff asked if we had been notified (we hadn’t) and then said oh, that’s because your booked through a third party. They had no way to contact us because they had no record of us being a guest, so we never received notification of plow day. Our car was eventually found (they had towed it to another location on property), though we were late for our dinner reservation which was a bummer.
It seems like with some simple improvement of the admin to smooth out the experience, the place and experience would be exceptional.

Proximity to slopes. Very roomy & clean. Great view of the slopes.
Coffee maker didn’t work very well. Coffee was barely warm after brewing.

You "check in" to the apartment by just going to the room and using the lock code you get send in an email, which makes it easy as you don't have to wait to check in downstairs etc.
Apartment/ room was really nice and spacious. Having a dishwasher was super handy to be able to put all the dishes in, and there's a super big bridge with more than enough space to fill with food and drinks. King size bed was good. Two showers made it handy to be able to shower at the same time if wanting to, or would be good for if you had 2 couples staying. We had a great time.
The pillows were too soft for me (mind I didn't search to change them). One limitation is that you have to call Vacasa (and then they have to call the owners?) if you want to check up on anything like a late check out. That said, the Vacasa person I spoke to was very nice and helpful. So, it's a minor inconvenience not having someone on site to help talk to.

This is a super comfortable place to stay in Big Sky. Beds were great. Very clean. Comfotable seating, allthough limited to 4 people. Good access to skiing.
There was no cutting board and the coffee maker leaked all over the counter. Our pool access cards didn't work, but that was due to the reader on the pool area door. Not a big problem, staff there let us in.
