About this house rental

Corte del Norte is a compound of three houses. Para Llevar is our onsite restaurant, bodega and wine shop with outdoor dining in our cactus garden that has a shared fence with Corte del Norte.

Corte del Norte is in the heart of Marfa - walk everywhere!

The shared courtyard has a stock tank "pool", adobe and glass dining shed, billiards room and fire pits which make it perfect for groups.

The love house has two bedrooms and one bath along with media room, dining lounge and a kitchen. This home sleeps 5 with a daybed and queen bed in one bedroom and queen bed in the second bedroom. If you need more see The Rock City House at Corte del Norte.

Corte del Norte has been designed by Jamey Garza and Constance Holt Garza of Garza Marfa.

We have a custom Garza Marfa outdoor sectional sofa around a fire pit; a wisteria covered pergola and outdoor 8 ft dining table; an adobe and glass dining shed with a 9 ft. dining table and tulip chairs, fireplace and bar; AND you'll love cooling off in our stock tank pool.

It's a great place for parties and events and we can provide our event policies in advance. Event fees and an additional deposit apply for parties of 10 or more. Please contact us and we'll help you plan a special birthday party, anniversary or wedding.

Since Marfa is at 5,000 ft elevation it has an average highs in the upper 80's and lows in the upper 50's in AUGUST with no have plenty of blankets for cold summer nights!

Located on HWY 90 at the corner of Dean and San Antonio, Corte del Norte was home to the 'mother of West Texas Tex-Mex' according to Robb Walsh in his book, The Tex-Mex Cookbook. From 1887 until 1987, the Old Borunda Cafe served both locals and movie stars alike, including James Dean and Elizabeth Taylor during the filming of Giant. Now home to the corner stores including Se Vende - Marfa's own art and fun filled vending machine.

I went with 3 friends and stayed in the Live House in Corte del Norte. Very cute spot, well designed and lots of space. It was bigger than it looked. The managers were very responsive. Very walkable to lots of restaurants and bars. Huge outdoor space too.
