A stunning property in a beautiful setting. The listing details are very accurate. The host was incredibly helpful when all our flights were cancelled and very easy to deal with. It is walking distance to a small minimart and a number of different taverna's and the marina including one on the beach at the end of the garden. We did not need a car as its easy to get an Uber to Corfu town and there are grocery shops that deliver to the house. We would love to return,

Charming property only a 15minute drive from Corfu Town and the airport. Spacious and well-equipped. Had a great patio with big outdoor dining table and very comfortable chairs. Highlight was the extended patio area with beautiful view overlooking the bay and was partially shaded so perfect throughout the day. Private path straight down to beach below and outdoor shower to keep any sand away from the house. Would recommend!

The house has an amazing view of the sea, with an expansive outdoor area, with so many different flowers and vegetation. The house is spacious and clean with two bedrooms with on suites and a 3rd smaller bedroom. There is a private access to a small beach and a great little taverna. There was also this very cute neighborhood cat that hung outside the house, which we all enjoyed. Artemis, the owner was very responsive with any questions we had. Don’t hesitate to book this magical home. You won’t be disappointed. We had a great stay!!! We were sorry to have to leave.

Positives: The property was in a great location, right next to a beach with a lovely garden and lots of garden furniture to relax on and beautiful sea views. It was a short drive (15 mins) into Corfu Town and we visited several times. The owner was very prompt in all communications and gave us clear instructions about how to gain access on the first day. It was clean. There was air conditioning in all of the bedrooms but we barely needed it in October as there are insect screens on all the patio doors so we slept with them open. It was lovely to wake up to the sound of the waves. We ate in the neighbouring hotel one night which was a lovely meal. All of our linen was provided, including beach towels. There were a number of supermarkets a short drive away.
Negatives: There wasn't much around the neighbourhood close to the villa apart from the hotel and beach bar next to the hotel. There's a marina a short walk away but not much there. I think it would be somewhere you would definitely need a car. The inside kitchen was very small, only room enough for one person, but we did self cater for a couple of nights. When the hotel next door puts on evening entertainment, it's like you're there, there's no getting away from it! (Fortunately only on two nights). Overall a lovely week away, thank you.

We had a lovely time for 10 days. 6 of us reunited for a wedding in gouvia. Location was perfect for us! The outdoor space is divine, with lovely views and a very short walk to the beach. It’s not the best beach in Corfu but paradise compared to American beaches! The owner was very responsive and everything went smoothly. Will definitely come back if we are a large group!

We had an amazing week in Corfu, the villa was even better than expected, the views were stunning and we lived being able to swim on the beach and then walk back up to the villa to chill. We hired a small car to sight see and enjoyed a boat ride from kbboathire at the kontakali beach resort. We also loved the company of the cat! Would recommend without hesitation!

Artemis’ home is a beautiful place to stay outside of Corfu town. The home itself is well equipped and feels very private. The terrace is beautiful and I could spend hours out there reading and enjoying the breeze and sounds of the cicadas. The beach is just steps away and there are a few oceanfront restaurants to enjoy, although we cooked most of our meals in the well-equipped kitchen. The location is close enough to Corfu town to visit and explore a bit but far enough away that it doesn’t feel too crowded. The beds were all very comfortable and we enjoyed a very relaxing holiday here. We wouldn’t hesitate to return! Thank you for a great stay.

Heaven on Earth! Quiet location surrounded by the sea and pine trees. The view is unique! The modern villa is perfectly integrated into nature. I could stay here forever! Spacious and comfortable rooms with dining room well equipped. Two bedrooms have a spectacular sea view. Literally 30 steps to the beach and taverna. from the house garden. Everything is well maintained and extremely clean. A fabulous experience!

We had a wonderful week at this villa! The view from the house and the far terrace is beautiful. It’s great that there is a little beach club and restaurant next door. We also went to other beach clubs around the island, rented a boat from the hotel next door for the day for a trip to Paxos and visited Corfu old town. The far terrace was our favorite place to sit in the mornings and evenings and the dining table on the terrace outside the house is a great size and shape for accommodating our dinners for 8 in the evenings. Using the apartment provided us with extra space and was a great addition. Would love to come back!

Awesome house. Even more impressive than Photos and description . Right on beach, lovely fish taverna on beach. 5 star hotel 100yds away for boat/ equipment rental and additional restaurants. Local shop 15 mins walk. Car hire advisable to ease shipping however not necessary as Islands main bus route 15 mins walk away and taxi service is very good (20 euros into Corfu town). Our family were aged 16-80.
Just the perfect holiday home and location. We will definitely return.

Great stay at Artemis house
Fantastic view on the bay with direct private access to the beach. The house is very practical and confortable. The outside terrasse is wonderful directly above the beach. Nice restaurant and water sport club on the beach. We enjoyed wakeboarding almost everyday. The location of the house is great only a few km from Corfou and since is it quite central you can easily reach the different areas of the island. We strongly recommend !!

Tremendous stay in Gouvia
Artemis house can't be better located with direct access to the sea / beach and to a local restaurant . Terrific views from the garden . The house is well equipped with a good distribution of rooms . The air conditioning was welcome during the heat wave that Corfu faced during our stay. The surroundings are quiet and the nearby hotel is not generating disturbance . Easy to rent boat there. The house is close to Gouvia which offers all facilities and the drive to Corfu town is short. We highly recommend

Ein Traumhaus in einer grünen Oase
Das Haus hat eine einmalige Lage in der Nähe von Korfu Stadt, mitten in einer grünen Oase mit privatem Strandzugang. Das Haus ist groß und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. In dem nahgelegenen Hotel gibt es alle möglichen Wassersportmöglichkeiten und jeden Tag Tanzmusik was wir gerne genutzt haben. Mit dem Motorboot ließen wir uns nach Korfu Stadt bringen. Es gibt viele kleine Restaurants in der Nähe, die fussläufig zu erreichen sind.
Das Haus mit dieser Lage ist ein Juwel und wir können das sehr empfehlen.

The house is very well kept and clean. Lots of nice touches to make you feel welcome.
Whilst the air conditioning in the bedrooms and lounge was appreciated, we love having breakfasts out on the lovely warm terrace.....LOVED the outside coffe machine.
The owner is very quick to reply to any queries. What a beautiful home.

Really comfortable Villa, right on a small sandy beach. Lovely sitting area with very comfortable seats and magical views towards Albania and Corfu Old Town. Great simple but good taverna on the beach and a hotel where you can rent boats, waterski etc. Great family holiday

Fantastic Villa......
My family and I had a fantastic week in Artemis’s beautiful house.
We loved the house and all it’s pictures and different decorations.
It was like a house with a history.....
The outside dinning place and barbecue was close to the kitchen and very easy to use.
The lounge set close to the beach was practically our place for the hole stay.
It was nice to take your own 20 meter walk path down to the beach, take a quick swim and then go back to your own private terrace....... We can highly recommend this beautiful property........

Wunderbar!
Sowohl die Beschreibung und Fotos des Hauses, als auch die sehr guten Bewertungen treffen absolut zu. Für uns war es einer der schönsten Urlaube.
Die Lage und der wunderschöne Garten waren der größte Luxus. Morgens und abends hat man das Meer nach wenigen Metern durch den Garten für sich alleine und auch tagsüber war es nie überfüllt. Im nahegelegenen Hotel kann man alle möglichen Wassersportarten buchen oder sich unkompliziert mit einem Motorboot z. B. nach Vido bringen lassen. Genauso unkompliziert kommt man mit dem Bus nach Korfu-Stadt, weshalb ein Auto nicht erforderlich ist, es sei denn, man möchte die ganze Insel erkunden.
Besonders bedanken möchten wir uns bei der Vermieterin für den aussergewöhnlich freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Kontakt und die ständige Erreichbarkeit.

Traumhafte Lage, wunderschöner Blick in die Bucht
Das Haus liegt traumhaft direkt am Meer mit Blick auf zwei kleine Inseln und weiter entfernt den Hafen von Korfu Stadt. Ein kurzer Weg führt unmittelbar zu einem kleinen Strand mit Liegen und einer netten Bar. Besonders schön war das Baden im Meer, abends, wenn sich der Strand bereits geleert hat. Es gibt eine Terrasse direkt am Meer mit einer Loungesessel-Gruppe und Liegen. Dort haben wir oft gelegen und die beeindruckende Aussicht genossen. Schön ist aber auch die Terrasse am Haus mit einem großen Tisch zum Essen und Spiele spielen. Leider tummelten sich dort abends auch einige Mücken. Das Haus ist nett und wohnlich eingerichtet. Die Küche könnte etwas moderner und die Matratzen könnten etwas weicher sein. Die Bäder sind sehr schön.
Der Garten ist eine Augenweide. Wir haben uns dort direkt sehr wohl gefühlt. Etwas weiter befindet sich das Hotel Kontokali Bay. Schön, um die Wassersportmöglichkeiten (Motorbootverleih, Wasserski usw.) zu nutzen, manchmal störte die späte Musik (Animation) die Idylle des schönen Hauses. Zu einem kleinen Supermarkt und zu kleinen Tavernen läuft man 5 bis 10 Minuten. Insgesamt ein toll gelegenes Haus, das wir sehr gut empfehlen können.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus. Das Grundstück direkt am Meer mit traumhaftem Blick ist einzigartig! Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die schattige Terrasse ist groß und das ganze Anwesen sehr gepflegt. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin ist sehr nett und persönlich. Alle Angaben zum Haus stimmten 100% überein. Direkt am Strand gibt es eine kleine Taverne, die überraschend gutes Essen anbietet.
Wir können dieses Ferienhaus sehr empfehlen!

Ein echtes Bijou, sehr zu empfehlen!
Das Inserat mit den Fotos verspricht viel, und dieses Bijou von einem Haus bietet noch viel mehr: Eine liebevolle und sehr vollständige Einrichtung, alles bestens gepflegt und unterhalten. So waren z.B. die Badezimmer praktisch neu. Und das Ganze inmitten eines mediterranen Gartens mit viel Schatten mit direktem Zugang zum Meer. Für uns war es das perfekte Haus für unvergessliche Ferien.
Der Standort in der Mitte der Insel und sehr nahe bei Korfu Stadt ist ideal, mit dem Auto ist praktisch jeder Ort auf der Insel sehr gut erreichbar.
Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin Artemis ist sehr freundlich und schnell. Ihre Tipps zu Tavernen und Wassersport waren sehr hilfreich.
Wir geben die 5 Sterne mit gutem Gewissen und empfehlen das Haus sehr gerne.

Perfect location, magical setting, easy owner!
By far the best experience we've had with holiday rentals in Greece! Magical garden setting with lovely views across Corfu town. Direct access to the beach, yet very peaceful and secluded; sitting out in the evenings watching the view and listening to the sound of the waves (especially during full moon), was the highlight of our stay.
Location is perfect, close to Corfu town and with easy access to all other roads/destinations around the island. Unlike most holiday rentals, the house has a warm homey feeling and is equipped with everything you may need and beyond (like a real home!).
Interaction with the owner and housekeepers was super friendly and easy. So, if you are looking for a truly stress free, relaxing holiday in Corfu, this place combines all of the right ingredients!

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus
Die Lages des Hauses ist super. Vom Flughafen ist es nicht sehr weit und auch die grösste Stadt der Insel ist mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar. Das Haus ist grosszügig gebaut, gepflegt und ruhig gelegen. Der Garten ist wunderschön mediterran und mit einem unvergleichlichen Lounge unter freien Himmel. Die Aussicht von dort ist einmalig. Sehr empfehlenswehrt.

Wunderschönes Feriendomizil an herrlicher Lage. Die Aussicht auf das Meer ist atemberaubend, in dem schmucken und schön eingerichteten Haus fühlt man sich sehr wohl. Es herrscht eine total ruhige und friedliche Atmosphäre.
Ob man sich auf der Sonnenterrasse oder am Privatstrand entspannen will oder das nahgelegene Stadtzentrum erkunden möchte - dieses Ferienhaus ist absolut empfehlenswert!

Magischer ort
Ich war mit ein paar Freundinnen auf dem paradiesischen Grundstück.
Das Haus ist super gelegen, da man trotz der Nähe zur Stadt sehr viel Privatsphäre hat mit einer super Sicht auf Meer. Die Fotos fangen das mahische Flair leider nicht ein. Wir hatten eine super Zeit da und werden sicher wieder kommen. Auch der Kontakt mit der Besitzerin war freundlich und schnell. Kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Dream location and well appointed home
We, a family of four, spent a wonderful time in this tastefully appointed home. Coming up the driveway we were greeted by a lovely garden. Entering the house we got a view on the spacious living room with fireplace and open kitchen. Through the sliding doors we stepped onto a coverd outdoor dining area. A garden extended up to an open stone flagged terrasse where old pine trees give natural shade. We enjoyed the beautiful view of Corfu and the green island in the distance. The calm and beauty of the location were the perfect setting to relax in the comfortable lounge chairs with a good book. Whenever we felt like going for a swim, a natural path took us right down to the beach. We loved our early morning swims before having breakfast and venturing out to our daily activities like boating, swimming, sightseeing or a stroll through the old town of Corfu which offers good shopping.
The house is clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful and easy to deal with. We can highly recommend this vacation home.
