Amazing Weekend Getaway with my Hubby!

It was my husband and I first time to Seattle. We live in Portland so I was so excited to choose a hotel in a prime location with good reviews. The state hotel hit a home run! The location was close to everything touristy! The staff were so friendly and welcoming! The rooms were clean, the rooftop was perfect to see the views. We loved our stay!

Only small thing was the brightness of the thermostat, it was a bit bright when sleeping.

It was a wonderful location as right up the street from the Pike Street Market. Also, it was nice that they provided a continental breakfast.

Cost of the night's stay was high but understand it is competitive with the other downtown hotels.

I liked how close it was to Pike's market

The staff was not available most of the trip. No one at the desk or to be found When they were there they were very rude. I was not told of benefits of hotel such as breakfast

Great stay!

I stayed for 3 nights. I was looking for a place super close to Pike Place Market. This place met all my expectations and more! The location was primo! My room was quiet, cozy and very clean. Staff was attentive & helpful. Throughly enjoyed the restaurant/bar area. Food was exceptional! Would definitely return.

close to Pikes Market and other local restaurants. the view from the roof to the sound was awesome.

the had coffee and other breakfast items in the free breakfast. it was ok. I like the security with the room card pass to enter in the evening and also to use the elevator.

no refrigerator in the room. For the price we paid it should have had at least a refrigerator.

Great central location that was convenient to leave the car and walk everywhere.

Location was fantastic! Morning coffee was excellent & refilled quickly. Staff was courteous & helpful. Roof top deck nice as well

No iron in the room & one we got was damaged. Staff happily switched it out for a steamer.

super friendly and helpful staff. clean room. comfortable bed. quiet. decent breakfast and snacks.

Parking is a little tricky but definitely doable. There is a public parking garage in the next block down the street and the hotel sends a link to set it up. Our room had a view of a brick wall but asked for a quiet room and that's what we got. No fridge in the room but ice available at the front desk. No closet or good place to hang things so we just had huge piles.

I did like that it was walking distance to Pike place and the waterfront also multiple restaurants and shops

Ever I did not like that everything closed around 8 or 9 My husband and I recently stopped drinking and that seems like it's the only thing to do around there after 530 Also didn't like the fact that we did not have a microwave or Mini fridge in our room

Friendly staff. Transportation are within walking distance from the hotel.

Location is perfect, next to Pikes Market, Target and other attractions.

Bathroom has a small courter top and it was dusty. Room service is upon request and the room has no drawers to store your clothes and other things.

I had arranged with the staff (3 times over the phone) to have Flowers for our stay (anniversary) and they had been forgotten each time. They mentioned that their flower service is from Pikes place and told me the price. I arranged it a week beforehand - and when i noticed it was forgotten i brought it up with the staff for the following days, and unfortunately it was forgotten again.

I have paid twice as I elected to pay before arriving. booking.com charged my card and yet the hotel say they haven’t received it so I had to pay them again too. I’ve tried with both sides and neither will help me achieve a refund. they hotel say it’s not their problem and booking.com make it so difficult to get hold of them then tell mw they will get back to me and don’t. it’s a disgrace and has ruined the whole thing.

Complimentary bottles of water to take up to room was nice. Liked the rooftop terrace.

The location, didn’t feel very safe. A lot of ‘meth heads’ hanging around the area, really didn’t feel safe to walk about after dark. Even in the daytime it wasn’t ideal. I probably should have looked more into the location before booking. Didn’t have breakfast there. Also didn’t like that the compliment at breakfasts were sitting in reception. Room small and nowhere to hang clothes so not ideal if you stayed there for more than a couple of nights. No cleaning while you stayed there.
