El trato de la dueña y el personal.
Todo estaba perfecto.

The location of this was ideal as right by the beach , the actual property & concept of it was excellent…breakfast was superb & entire ambience was lovely & relaxing.
Sadly felt the staff were not overly accommodating with info, there was no mention of the activities like yoga etc that took place there & when & we got told by a local about the happy hr & DJ on our last night there…this mainly applies to front of house staff not being particularly friendly as kitchen staff each morn were lovely.

Beautiful setting merging with jungle. Chilled vibe. Great staff. Unique architecture and would stay again happily. Would recommend
Fridge in room would be good. Mirror in bedroom

The location is amazing, with a short walk through a jungley route to the absolutely gorgeous beach. The sound of the jungle as you fall asleep is incredible, and waking up to the jungle was also amazing. The room is wonderful and rustic, with wooden french doors that open up on 3 sides to allow the sights of the jungle in in the morning. Breakfast looking out on to the lush jungle scenery was a highlight of our trip! Muchas Gracias!
The doors do not lock from the outside, which made us feel uncomfortable about our luggage and safety. We felt a little unsafe at night as the doors only lock with wooden latches. The room is slightly open to the elements (read Mosquitos) so bring lots of repellent (the stronger and more toxic the better): despite the mosquito net we were still eaten alive!

Absolute harmony with nature, great food, great people, beautiful beach nearby!
location a bit hard to find, don’t arrive late at night! lacks a bit of privacy if you’re in a romantic travel since everything can be heard from the room and no option to lock

This place is actually magical. It has stunning views. There were fireflies just after sunset which were like glitter and insect and frog sounds all night. The beach is also nice and really close. The bedrooms were all made from bamboo and wood and there was a high attention to detail. The dinner was really nice and obviously in a beautiful setting.
I didn’t really dislike these things but if you don’t like bugs it’s not the place for you because everything is quite open. There weren’t many bugs but it’s always a possibility. You can’t lock the rooms. The bathroom is basically in the same room so don’t share if you are not comfortable with the person you are sharing with. The beds are a little short because of the mosquito nets. These are just things that come with a beautiful natural setting like this. Also when we were there the little dipping pool was empty.

We loved the place and we felt so connected with the nature. At night the sounds of the forest and the waves made our experience surreal.
The room was super, clean and comfortable. The people there were nice, especially Kari ( the receptionist) and Papito (the security guy). We will be back for sure!
It was a bit hard to communicate because the most of the people don’t speak English.
The dinner was nice but overpriced.

Unique facility where one can disconnect. close to the beach.
WiFi doesn’t work in the rooms. Road leading to the lodge is in very poor condition.

such a peaceful yet fun vacation, went there with my mom her boyfriend and my daughter, we had a blast ;)

I liked the cabins and the distribution.

We stayed for two nights and really loved El Valle Lodge. The beds were comfy, amazing shower, fluffy towels and robes and nice decking area. Food in the restaurant is also good and the waterfall excursion is definitely worth doing.
it is a bit restrictive not having any lunch options or snacks during the day, as there isn’t really anywhere nearby. Would recommend going to the local pizza place if you can (only open on weekends).

The property is ample and very authentic in vegetation, stone walkways, and Campo style dwellings. The beach was secluded and had mountains on both sides. The staff were all nice.
Breakfast started out really good and deteriorated over our 6 day stay. They had less and less protein, runny eggs on 2 days, and never any meats. There's no air conditioning or screens, so it's hot as hell and very muggy. Bugs off all kinds come in and you sleep under a mosquito net! It's hard to rest when you're hot, sweaty and sticky. This area is a rainforest, so it pours every day. The lighting was poor and the shower has no curtain, so a big area gets wet. The loud noise from bugs and frogs goes on all night long. The internet is hit and miss. They want you to hang up the towels but there's very few places to hang anything and nothing dries in the 85% humidity. There are no closets or drawers. They owners save a lot on electricity, at the expense of the guests' comfort and convenience. The beach is a 1/3 mile walk!

Good location in the jungle, good breakfast
The room smelled bad, the fan was old, dusty and very loud.
