Very homely and comfortable. Everything I needed was available. Proximity to township and walking trails excellent. Loved the nature all around.very clean and ready just to kick back and enjoy. Very comfy bed too!

We stayed in the Blue Wren lodge, it was great. It is a one bedroom house with plenty of space for two, just 5 min walk to the middle of town. Kangaroos and ducks on the front doorstep. The best we have stayed in in Halls Gap.
Not much

I loved the house. Great location. And love the extras that the owner provides in the house.

Really liked the cozy fireplace, spa bath and bright bedroom. I liked the provision of free firewood and how the toilets were separated from other facilities in the cabin. Hosts were helpful and quick to reply.
The kitchen seemed a bit dated, the cooker especially took a long time to warm up however it was fine.

The property is immaculate. It’s SO close to Halls Gap centre but set far back enough you wouldn’t even know! We loved the split levels and the fireplace for sure. Lots of animals around in the morning too
There was no filtered water (maybe it’s a VIC thing?)
The shower door was missing, we weren’t sure if we could use it as there was no plug hole on the bathroom floor, and water would spill everywhere being a corner shower. We opted for the spa bath instead as we only stayed two nights. Not much of an issue as I didn’t contact the owner and ask. It wasn’t too bothersome

Great property. Roomy and interesting. Great location- easy to access food and walks.
Good air conditioning and very nice combustion heater.

BBQ needs an upgrade.

We are very happy with this accommodation. Everything is so perfect. The fireplace, the spa, the comfortable bed, all the appliance, even the paint on the wall and other country-style decorations are more than what we expected. I can see the owners put their heart to do the business. And unlimited firewood supply is a bonus.
All most nothing. Pity we couldn't book across the weekend due to the popular venue unless booking 3 months ahead. :P
If really need to say something can be improved, I think the power capacity can be a bit higher. Because if we turn on the air-con, the heater and the spa at the same time, the power will switch off and come back after a few minutes.

It was all amazing! Prompt communication from the host and she was so friendly. The location was brilliant and the lodge was clean and lovely. Everything was easy to organise and the setting was just stunning.
Nothing - everything was perfect

The accommodation had everything you needed, it was well equipped.
The surroundings was lovely and having the wildlife at your front door.
Overall it was very relaxing and peaceful stay.
Only that we didn't stay longer, 2 days is not long enough, you need at least 4 days.

quietly tucked away but very close to great eating venue. great bird life visiting everyday!
lighting in carport not functioning. hard to negotiate walking up driveway at night. solar powered LED lights would work well

We stayed at the most beautiful, tranquil lodge, surrounded by the magnificent Grampians and we were woken in the calm morning by the local bird life. The Lodge had everythong we needed, plus more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Everything was perfect.

We stayed in the Blue Wren Lodge and it was excellent. The location was great, the Lodge was clean and every we needed was supplied. From firewood/starters to sunscreen, WiFi and lots of tourist info.
Highly recommend and would love to return.
The driveway had massive wear in it but it was being fixed the next day. We did have to spend an hour with Police the next morning as there was a loud domestic disturbance from the Lodge next to us.
