Excellent hotel choice not only for city break but also for a holiday!

Everything was ok: room was spacious enough and very clean, quite varied breakfast with very good coffee, very good Wi-Fi, daily cleaning of rooms. Short walk to reach train station or tram with connection to Genève. The town is nice, quiet and you can find everything there: good restaurants, good shopping places and also can make trips to France or Switzerland by train as Annemasse is a quite a big train station. As our flight was early morning we arrived at the hotel at 10:00 and we could check-in immediately because we agreed in advance with the hotel receptionist to prepare for us the rooms against a fee that we considered fair.

The only problem was the lack of a second towel as well as a support (hanger) outside the bathroom to dry the towels. But finally we could manage because they were changed daily.

Établissement propre et personnel très accueillant et agréable. Un petit déjeuner au top. Une chambre propre et bien pensée avec tout juste ce qu’il faut.

Uniquement sa situation géographique… Expérience personnelle négative sur Annemasse pour notre part.

En bonne voie niveau déco mais des progrès à faire sur l'accueil et l'isolation

La modernité de l'hôtel et sa localisation proche de la gare. La taille de la chambre m'a également surpris en bien sachant qu'un petit bureau attenant est profitable lors d'un séjour professionnel.

Quartier pas très bien fréquenté et réception plutôt absente ! Le prix est un peu élevé également (70e)

Bessere innere Werte als äußere.

Nachdem der äußerliche Eindruck überwunden wurde, ist es von innen echt klasse: modern, sauber, ruhig - Dank guter schallisolierender Fenster -. Der Herr an der Rezeption (war es Oskar?) war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und korrekt. Der Preis war insgesamt günstig und angemessen.

Wer ein gutes Hotel mitten in einer etwas heruntergekommenen Stadt sucht, liegt hier richtig. Der Stellplatz für das Auto kostete 11 Euro extra, dafür hat man aber ein etwas besseres Gefühl, morgens noch alle 4 Reifen dran zu haben. Das Badezimmer hätte gerne etwas größer sein dürfen. Es gab kein Frühstück, dafür haben wir im angrenzenden Supermarkt gut frühstücken können. Man muss halt etwas improvisieren. Geht aber...

Das Bett war gut, der Parkplatz um 11,5EUR war sehr gut weil direkt vor dem Hotel, Frühstück war in Ordnung, fehlendes Baguette wurde nach 2 Minuten nachgeliefert

Die Dusche hat das winzige Badezimmer überflutet. Man musste die Strahlstärke nur sehr schwach einstellen so dass das Wasser abfließen konnte.

Close to switzerland and cute clean room, also spacious balcony. There was a good coffe shop Columbus close to the hotel, its very very good.

The receptionist asked us to pay the tax again, even though it was already paid. There was no parking, you can find it in the city and in front of the hotel if you have the luck.

Great staff conveniently located near train

Best staff anywhere the rooms are okay it’s good value for money to go to Geneva ! Especially Sonia and Johan and Lorain are extremely helpful and friendly! The hotel in annamesse is very convenient to travel between France and Switzerland!

Just average, nothing special

The floor for the shower room is made of marble, very slippery floor. Very dangerous for senior citizens. Room is very small. Hotel is very far from the Annemasse train station. Gave to drag our heavy luggage over a long distance.

Everything was nice but the bed was not very confortable and the pillows were really small and really uncomfortable, would have liked to have bigger ones and more confortable or extra ones.

Very good

I stay regularly at the Oscar hotel when traveling to Geneva for work. It is good value for money, clean, tastefully furnished and well located. The wifi works and the staff is helpful. I was always happy staying at the Oscar hotel, except the last two times which is the reason for my rating.

The last two times I stayed at the hotel, there was a lot of noise in the hallway and staircase until quite late. The rooms that I stayed in were at both occasions next to the staircase, so maybe that was a reason. Clearly the rooms are not soundproof.

We had problems due to our air conditioning was broken, the receptionist girl (blonde, i couldn't remember her name but i guess it was christian, not sure), helped us a lot by giving extra blanket and changed our room one day after. the cleaning of room and hotel was quite well and enough. Even the whitewash had just been done. Thanks for everything, we will visit again if we travel to Geneve again.

Exceptional

The staff was very nice and friendly. Especially Juan and Sonia. Most recommended to all traveling alone. It's five min walk to the train station and from there you can easily take the connecting trains to and from the Airport.
