J & J's Getaway is strategically located near Sugar Hollow Marina and the world famous "Jumping Bridge". You are close to everything you need for family adventure.
Drive up to see this darling new home with plenty of parking and an easy slope to your private 'double decker' dock with slide. Bring your own boat and park it on the 6,600 pound lift. The community, free boat ramp is only 1/4 mile from your house. No boat? No worries! Simply rent from the numerous, convenient watercraft rentals: NorrisOasisWatersports (ask for delivery options), NorrisLakeWaterSports (they deliver and ask for Norris Lake Villas 10% discount), Springs Dock (closest marina by car), or Sugar Hollow Marina (closest marina by boat).
With two covered decks, relax on your swing while reading your favorite book or simply watching the lake activities. Cook on the propane grill and have family meals with spectacular scenery.
Enter to see the modern, high end home with wide open floor plan. A fully stocked kitchen provides the 'camp chef' with wide open views of the lake along with the dining room and living room.

The view from this house is spectacular whether enjoying a peaceful morning with a hot cup of coffee or watching families having fun on the lake! It's location is close to many thriving marinas. The decks are spacious, well appointed, and provide the perfect place for fun, laughter, and relaxation. The slide on the two tiered dock provided hours of fun. The kitchen had all necessary and needed items. Having the ice maker saved time and money when loading drinks and food for a day on the lake! There is room for everyone and everyone can a room!! This property is highly recommended. We would stay again!!

The house is great. The dock is great. The only trouble is it’s in a high traffic area. Other boats aren’t considerate with the week and it shook her boat pretty hard. everything else was great. The only other issue would be the wind the roads to get there. However, that’s anywhere at Lake Norris would definitely recommend this for big groups. I’ve stayed at three other houses down there. This one by far was the nicest.

This house quickly became our home for our family vacation! Our family loved the cozy, yet spacious layout and decor of this house. Everything was as listed and it was very clean. It was very easy to check in and out. We definitely will be back next year!

Perfect Getaway!
We had a wonderful week with the kids/grandkids/extended family; and hope to stay again in the future. The kitchen was very well stocked, had everything you could need. We spent most of our time at the dock, going down the slide, or in the boat rented from Oasis Watersports, just 2 minutes from the house at Sugar Hollow Marina. Having a private boat ramp around the corner to launch our jet skis was very convenient. We used the upper deck when we weren’t on the water; it has lots of comfortable seating, a table, and gas grill. The large professional ice maker was very useful, it saved us many trips to the marina for ice. The owner responded promptly to all questions. We used our golf cart to help tote toys and Grandma to the dock and back. Our family of 13, all agreed, this was the nicest house (out of 7) that we have stayed in. WE WILL BE BACK!

We followed their suggestion on not trying to cool all drinks at once, took advantage of the fridge downstairs and had no issues with fridge. The dock was so nice with the same awesome furniture. We had appetizers on the top deck under the umbrella one evening and it was so great. The slide was endless fun for all ages! Our only complaint was the amount of boat traffic as it is located on a main thoroughfare, super close to Sugar Hollow Marina and the famous jumping bridge. The holiday/opening lake weekend was a big factor in the traffic. It would not stop us from coming back. Great job, owners and property manager!

This is a beautiful property to rent especially for families. Had a lot of amenities also. Gorgeous views and right on the lake. Boat dock with Sundeck was great. I would most definitely stay there again. This property would be hard to beat.

This property was perfect! The view is absolutely amazing and the location could not have been better. The covered dock was an added bonus. The house was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. Very convenient boat ramp near by and the ice maker in the basement came in handy. Cannot wait to visit here again!

I have stayed in many properties and this property is top notch! I couldn't have asked for better accommodations. The property is extremely well kept and you can smell the cleanness the second you walk in. The WIFI is not great but you are in the middle of the mountains so that is to be expected. With that said, it is the best internet service we have ever experienced in the mountains. Oh and the view of the lake is breathtaking, its like living in a postcard. I would definitely recommend it!

I have stayed in many properties and this property is top notch! I couldn't have asked for better accommodations. The property is extremely well kept and you can smell the cleanness the second you walk in. The WIFI is not great but you are in the middle of the mountains so that is to be expected. With that said, it is the best internet service we have ever experienced in the mountains. Oh and the view of the lake is breathtaking, its like living in a postcard. I would definitely recommend it!

The porches are amazing for just hanging out. The only downsides were that we ran out of milk and the marina was not open and the drive back to town takes about 30 minutes. We may have gotten lost and GPS was difficult to stay connected. There was also a gnat problem. The property had some fly strips hangingbut we’re not effective. We will definitely visit again.

My brothers and our families like to gather for a fall weekend getaway once a year, this time we choose Lake Norris. This property was at a wonderful location and was able to easily accommodate all of us. The home was steps away from the lake and in a gated community where we felt safe. Roads getting there were a little curvy, some of us came for the first time after dark, so that was a little difficult, but directions from the homeowner were good. Our only complaint is a minor one, we found a few coffee pots, but none of them were a Keurig as mentioned and we only brought K cups with us. We had a wonderful time and only left the house to go to the grocery store on our first night. Highly recommend staying here.

Amazing Secluded Property!
This was my families first visit to Norris Lake and with 11 people in the house there was plenty of space. The quality of construction in this house is fantastic. We loved every minute of our stay, in fact 8 of the 11 never left the house or the lake.
This home is a gem and the lake should be experienced by all. We took our 27 foot boat with us and it fit perfectly on the lift, and the jet ski was so much fun for the kids and to be able to keep it at the dock was great as well. There is a free boat launch in the neighborhood a few homes down from the house. It is a tad steep but with a 4x4 there is nothing to worry about. Having rented many properties I was pleased to see two additional propane tanks ready to go on the deck and the grill is very good. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need and the two fridges are ideal for big groups. The commercial grade ice maker was key! We had hot temps every day and the marinas charge almost $4 a bag. Please note that the two washer and dryers are also a bonus in this house. The garbage can situation is very good, plenty of large bins out front. When I revisit Norris Lake J & J's Getaway will be my first choice.
