About this cottage rental
Stone cottage in central Salcombe, sleeping six in three bedrooms.
Bumblebee Cottage is situated in a relatively quiet, mainly residential area of Salcombe yet within a very short distance of the towns' boutiques, restaurants and famous waterfront. Batson Creek is just a few minutes walk away for quick access to the slipway and car park. There are three bedrooms, two with double size beds and one twin room with two single beds. There is a well equipped kitchen, dining area and comfortable lounge. Outside there is a good sized paved terrace to the rear of the cottage with table, chairs and barbeque. Bumblebee is ideal for a couple, two couples or a family looking to be close to the coastline and sandy beaches.
Amenities: Full gas central heating and hot water.
4-ring gas hob, electric oven, under counter fridge, washer/dryer and microwave, kettle, toaster and small countertop freezer.
Bed linen supplied.
TV and DVD.
Wifi available.
Good sized paved terrace to the rear of the cottage with table, chairs and barbecue.

Town: Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.
