Lovely, roomy accommodations. I was somewhat concerned that there might be a lot of steps since it is on the third floor but it is only one flight up from the parking lot. Loved the balcony!

Technically NOT ski/out…but <1 min walk to lifts (Powder Monkey and Western). Caution: at end of day, must be at the Powder Monkey lift (at the bottom of the mountain) by 4:30pm…or you’ll have to walk back (10-15 min).

End of season blizzard
We had a great stay at Whistle punk 30. Perfect for two families with kids. Great location, steps from Western territory and powder monkey green trail. We were very happy. Real fire place involves some works, but it's worth it.

Nice homey feeling…
Nice location with plenty of room to spread out. The decor is a bit dated with the sleeper couch & recliner chair having mechanical issues. The carpeting condition detracts from the charm of the condo.

A cozy cabin with a great location!
We enjoyed our stay for a family ski trip--lovely cabin with a convenient location and pretty views!

Cozy and convenient. Efficient not elegant.
We have stayed at whistlepunk twice now. It’s nice because it’s ski in ski out and relatively close to the village. The back of the condo building has a nice hill great for playing and sledding after the ski day. The unit was nice enough. Pretty average ski rental unit. It needs some TLC, new couches and carpet (worn out) would be a good start. But overall, it suited our group just fine and we appreciated the well thought out mud room, which made transitioning to and from the slopes way easy - with lots of cubbies to store gear and heaters for drying. Kitchen is dated but well equipped. Upstairs shower is extremely small so beware of your room assignments for guests needing more space. Fireplace is wood burning which is great! Bring your own fire starter as the wood is not seasoned and takes a lot of effort to get going.
Only real complaint was the check in process. For some reason, this unit required us to physically check in at the bottom of the mountain. Last year, our unit was contactless and keys were in a lockbox. Which was amazing, since you can’t get in until after 4 when it’s typically extremely cold and windy on top of the mountain. This time, we went to get keys (albeit we were 45 mins early) and unit was not ready. Had to come back. Came back, still not ready. No concessions made for this issue… Gave keys and said to check with the cleaning crew. It was 530 before unit was ready. And having to schlep around the mountain with all our stuff in tow was pretty inconvenient and threw off our schedule. The unit was setup for keyless entry so no idea why that wasn’t an option. Anyways, pack some patience and be prepared as Snowshoe hospitality is a little different than what you may be used to. All in all, would recommend and would come back.

Convenient and cozy
We had a great time at this place on Snowshoe. Very convenient location and steps from the slopes. The unit was very warm- maybe a little too toasty. I would suggest a humidifier because the air was very dry. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked, although perhaps a carafe to keep the coffee warm would have been nice. Some drink decaf and there was only one coffee maker. All the appliances worked well and the fireplace had plenty of dry firewood. The bus stop is only a few yards from the unit so we were able to hop on easily and ride to the snowtubing hill. I would suggest bringing plenty of your own food since, during Covid there were a lot of restaurants operating with limited staff. There’s only one restaurant who will take reservations, so if you have a large family and you weren’t planning to cook, you will have a challenge on your hands.
The closet was stocked with some great games and we tried the one called “Blurt” That was a BLAST!!
I was looking for the Whirlpool tub that was advertised in the ad and it is not there. Probably doesn’t matter to most people, but I had promoted this rental to my husband by telling him about that! One thingI should have realized is that there was NO CELL PHONE SERVICE AT SNOWSHOE!!! Thank goodness my kids are savvy enough to show me how to use the Wi-Fi at the unit to call people that way. Not sure how a person gets emergency help on the mountain though if they are not tapped into the Wi-Fi.
Definitely agree with others who have said that the couch needs to be replaced in the living room. It’s on its last leg.
Loved the quality of the towels and the bedroom furniture, although the top bunk in the upstairs bedroom was broken when we got there.
Could have had new carpet in the living room and hallways. Kinda grungy.

Great spot to enjoy the slopes.
There was more than enough room and things to do. The cabin was clean and in good working order. We would definitely stay again.

We had a great time even though not all the trails were open. Good slope slide location!
We had a wonderful experience with great communication between the rental staff when we realized the weather was not in our favor this trip. We went anyway and it was still a great trip! The location is great especially if there is a lot of snow. Unfortunately there was not snow to be able to ski to the slopes so we had a short walk. We had 3 families with us, 2 with kids and it was perfect!!

Great Long Ski Weekend
Whistlepunk condos are the best place to stay on the mountain, and this unit didn't disappoint! It is on the upper floor, but despite the stairs, the unit felt very airy with the lofted ceilings. Everything worked, plenty of wood for fires, kitchen stocked with everything we needed to cook, amount of cleaning supplies and trash bags perfect for a 4 night stay. Took us awhile to find the WiFi code, but we did and it worked flawlessly with 7 people on devices at on point. Smart TV allowed us to access Netflix/Prime to watch ski moves during apres ski! Only downer was that the cushions on the largest couch sank way down. We added the throw pillows under the cushions to help them stay level. BONUS....being the end unit, we could easily access the ski slope. Instead of going down the main path, we cut through the woods, to a snowy street to a newly built wood trial. Downhill the whole way with gravity. made starting the morning so much fun.

End of Season :-(
30 Whistlepunk is comfortably outfitted to accommodate several people. We enjoyed cooking/eating in for Breakfast and Lunch and then a 10 minute walk into the village (if too cold, its a short walk to the Pizza place or Tuques for food out. Kitchen is well stocked and the unit had plenty of paper products and cleaning supplies. Complimentary coffee and popcorn was a nice touch. My family is thinking of making this unit our Snowshoe home going forward.

Great place in a great location
Our first time at Whistlepunk 30, but not our last. Ski in and ski out, a short walk to the bus stop and Appalachia Kitchen. What more could you want? Did I mention Western Territory is just across the street?
This place checks all the boxes, highly recommended.
