Skiing: One of the best ski resorts on the East Coast, Snowshoe Mountain Resort trail map includes 257 acres of skiable terrain, 60 trails and 14 lifts, and there are 3 high-speed quads (Soaring Eagle, Ballhooter and Western Express). Loggers is closest to the Soaring Eagle lift. The total lift capacity on the mountain is 23,400 skiers per hour. Set in the Allegheny Mountains, which are a part of the vast Appalachian Mountain Range. Thanks to a combination of lake effect storms, high elevation and other weather patterns, annual snowfall at Snowshoe averages more than 150 inches. Mother nature treats us well and creates a winter wonderland from the beginning of the ski season (e.g. Thanksgiving) to the end of the ski season (e.g. end of March). Sitting in our hot tub overlooking the slopes while the snow falls is one of the best ways to finish a day of skiing.
Mountain biking: As a Certified IMBA ride center, with one of the largest trail systems in the East and host to noteworthy events like the 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023 UCI Mountain Bike World Series, Snowshoe Bike Park is recognized as one of the best in the U.S. Whether you want the thrill of white-knuckling it downhill or pedaling cross country is more your style, we have it all. The lifts are modified to carry bikes, taking you back up to the top! (https://www.snowshoemtn.com/discover-snowshoe/biking)
Shaver's Lake: Visiting Shaver's Lake, you'll enjoy a sandy beachfront area with chairs and umbrellas, a 200' dock that provides access to an expanded swimming area with shallow and deep sections, canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, water inflatables, beach accessories and discs for use on Fairy Diddle Disc Golf Course. The lake area also has a mega playground, slacklines, horseshoes, shuffleboard, and STACYC bike course (for kids ages 3-8), hiking trails that take you around the lake and ridge of the Basin, The Boathouse restaurant, picnic tables and hammocks. (https://www.snowshoemtn.com/things-to-do/activities/lake-activities)
Golfing: The Raven Golf Course is one of the most unique golf courses in West Virginia. Nestled within the Appalachian Mountains, this signature Gary Player-designed course is as scenic as it is challenging. We guarantee you'll want to play it over and over again. A guest favorite, The Raven Grille is where you can grab a sandwich and drink at the turn or get your friends together for a nice lunch on the deck. It offers delicious breakfast, grab n' go lunch, made to order lunch, and great drinks. (https://www.snowshoemtn.com/things-to-do/activities/raven-golf-club)
Dining and Shopping: Snowshoe Village is at the top of the mountain with beautiful vistas overlooking the valley. A charming village resembling European architecture, the town offers many shops and restaurants.
Swimming: Split Rock Pool is located in Snowshoe Village and is just as fun for adults as it is for kids. They'll splash around the indoor/outdoor heated swimming area zipping down the slide and making new friends, while you relax in the sauna and hot tub and take in the gorgeous views. It's a win-win, the perfect place to play and unwind all at the same time.

Beautiful cabin and setup will definitely be back and recommend.

This is true ski in and out! The house was clean and fit description to a T! One thing I would suggest is to load up on groceries BEFORE you arrive at Snowshoe, there is a local store to shop but there’s not a big selection.

Very, very nice. No noise. Easy in and out parking. Great heating and hot water. Hot tube jets were AMAZING, really really great hot tub after long day of snowboarding. Owners are super helpful all the way and responsive with communication. Highly recommended!!!
10.0 / 10.0
The home was fantastic for our family and accommodated all of us well. There were four adults and seven children and there was plenty of space to get ready for skiing/snowboarding and hanging out after the slopes closed. The home had convenient access to both the shuttle and the slopes. Would definitely recommend this location.
10.0 / 10.0
This was a great place for a large group, 3 Adults and 7 Kids. The owners were responsive and helpful and replied quickly to any questions we had about the rental.
The garage was amazing for all the ski gear and the setup/location was perfect. Just a quick bus ride to the Village and not too far to walk (weather permitting).
We will definitely rent again!
8.0 / 10.0
Excellent location and good size for larger groups. In exchange for being right on the slopes, you do get some snowmobile exhaust at night, which if you are in the hot tub can be annoying but ski in ski out of worth that inconvenience. Good selection of kitchen utensils and pots/pans etc. Our one complaint was the cleanliness of the property particularly given price point. There were dirty towels in the washer and we had to unload the dishwasher on arrival. Dirty cups and other items were found under beds. Carpet did not appear vacuumed in areas. Not sure if weather was a factor but we also had to spend a good 30 minutes chipping ice from the back of the hot tub just to open it. Once open it was nice and hot though. Overall a good stay but would recommend a discussion with your housekeeper.

Cannot say enough about this great place! We have stayed at many rentals and it was truly one of the best we have seen. The owners were very communicative and helpful answering all of my many questions promptly and went above and beyond. Check in and check out were simple. Just screen shot the code they send and you are set for the whole time. As others have mentioned, it is a great ski in/ski out location. I researched all of the areas and was hoping this was a great location and it was. Easy access for all levels of skiing and also very close to the Flume bar on Upper Flume so that non-skiers could walk to meet us. You can also easily walk through the trees to Hoots and Top of the World. The shuttle is also very easy to access and get around. We cooked a lot and found that everything we needed was there and then some. Also we had 11 people, including 7 college aged young men and there was plenty of space for all of us to watch football together comfortably and lounge around when not skiing. Plenty of towels for our group as well, and also extra blankets. There is also a good selection of DVDs and games. Finally, the garage space was wonderful to keep all of the wet boots etc - what a treat to not have ski gear all over the main living area, and the dryer is also on that level so that helped as well. Cannot say enough - we will be back!

We had a great experience with this property and the owners. The home was exactly as advertised. The location of the home and convenience of the ski in/out access were perfect for our family. The communication and helpfulness of the owners was great. We had a great time and plan to stay at this property again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a good value, it was maintained well, had plenty of space and a fireplace. It was hard to get the check-in directions because there's no cell service on the mountain. Was finally able to get on wifi up the hill. There were a few issues; unit was not as clean as we would have liked it to be. Downstairs shower had not been cleaned. The location was great, a short walk to ski out. Full kitchen for cooking meals, hot tub was awesome. The master suite bed was not comfortable, it was very hard, need to put a mattress topper on it or a new mattress. We did not need all the bedrooms, and the steps gave us a workout.

Plenty of space for a group of 8! Great location, just a short little walk behind the house to the slopes. Hot tub was a very nice feature that we enjoyed using.

It was our first time to visit Snowshoe and we were impressed. This home had everything and was perfect in every way. It has the best set up of a ski in/out accommodation I have ever seen.
10.0 / 10.0
This was a great unit. The location is awesome, truly a ski in ski out. The garage is set up as a dressing/gearing up area and is wonderfully convenient!
Owners were helpful and communicative, and even texted us that we could check in early because no one was there before us.
Highly recommend!

This was our favorite stay at Snowshoe! The owners were responsive and extremely helpful. The unit had everything our group of 3 families needed for a comfortable, fun stay. Even in warmer weather, we could ski in/ski out (great for taking work calls, snack breaks, and Flume is easy even for the kids to ski home from ski school). The unit is an end unit, so you can easily get onto the slopes. The converted garage with plenty of space for lots of skiers/snowboarders to get ready and store gear was such an unexpected and wonderful surprise. The prep area made it so much easier to tune gear, and had plenty of space to finagle kids into their outer wear and boots.
We will definitely be back! Many thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us!

Our family of nine adults and one teenager had a great time. We all fit comfortably and never felt crowded. The house was clean and well equipped. Being slopeside is a huge bonus as was the hot tub. The hosts were super easy to communication with and incredibly friendly. We will def look at staying here again!

Great townhouse. We had a couple of issues but nothing the owners could do or prevent, hot water line in kitchen frozen but at minus 20 windchill you have to expect that. Easy to get in and out of unit, kids loved being able to ski in and out. Thanks for the use of your townhome.

We love four stay here! Great place to hang ski equipment and great location on the slopes. Beds were comfortable.
8.0 / 10.0
We really enjoyed the property, especially the location. Unfortunately, the weather was horrible, rainy, wet and cold so we were huddled inside a lot and not able to enjoy the fun of the resort. The property is not very big and having everyone inside made it cramped, but I am sure if weather conditions were better, the size would not have been an issue at all.
Pull out in the kitchen area is literally in the kitchen area so can not be considered an actual bed as posted in the online listing, We had to get another condo in order to move two people out of the house.

First time to Snowshoe and it was fabulous.
The property was excellent. The condo was very homey and well equipped. Love being able to use the garage as another space for all the boots , snow clothes, coolers etc. .Real close to the condo you can walk to a new bar called The Flume. Great place to meet up with with friends or family members skiing because they can ski right up to it. BONUS: we got 12 ihces of fresh snow!!

Winter getaway
Our all -adult group of 8 really enjoyed our 4 day stay. Slope side location was perfect for the skiers and accommodations & hot tub made sure we all were comfortable! Got almost 8 inches of snow over a couple days on Super Bowl weekend, so weather was perfect. We planned our meals and mostly ate “in” which worked out well with the well equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay here again!
