el personal muy amable. Las camas fueron muy cómodas.

la cabaña 01 en la cual estuvimos tuvo problemas con la ducha, ya que se apaga repentinamente el calefont y se enfría de un momento a otro el agua.

Perfekt gelegen, fußläufig zu Fähre und Stadt. Trotzdem ruhig. Ein Platz für Feinschmecker.

Doria ist sehr um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht. Sie ist eine begnadete Köchin und Frühstück und Abendessen sind außergewöhnlich gut. Es ist alles sehr sauber und ruhig.

Es besteht Renovierungsbedarf.

El mejor desayuno de la Patagonia.

Estuvimos una noche, luego del paso en la barcaza desde Hornopirén a Caleta Gonzalo y estuvo genial. La dueña nos esperó hasta que llegamos (00:30 de la noche), dormimos en camas comodas y calentitas. Al otro día lo mejor, el desayuno es de campeonato mundial, se los recomiendo 100%. Demas esta decir que la disposición de la dueña y el personal es el mejor, muy amables y gentiles, a mis hijos les hicieron panqueques al desayuno.

No puedo decir nada, porque en realidad fue maravillosa la experiencia.

Lovely, relaxing, and inviting after a long drive.

Lovely place and wonderful people. They went out of their way to help me and make certain that I was comfortable. I was offered a delicious meal at their warm cozy restaurant and then was escorted safely to my room as it was then dark and impossible to see. The room was elegant and quiet. I was taking the ferry the next day and it was only a few minutes on their quiet road. I would highly recommend a stay here; it is close to the center and ferry but far enough away to be quiet. Parking is not visible from the road and felt very secure. The tiny restaurant was intimate, warm and inviting after a long day of travel. The host was delightful and with my limited Spanish helped with English and made everything much easier for me.

I have nothing negative to add.

Lindo lugar en Chaitén

Casa antigua pero muy bonita y relativamente bien cuidada con mucha decoración agradable a la vista, el exterior es muy bonito también, el desayuno muy exquisito y surtido, la dueña es un encanto, muy atenta y linda trata muy bien a los huéspedes.

El baño compartido pero es aceptable considerando que es una casa antigua.

The cabin was poorly maintained and basic in its level of comfort. Some window panes were cracked. carpeting was old and worn. The only space heating was a wood burning stove. Heat from the stove did not significantly heat the bathroom, as the bathroom window was set slightly open. It was difficult for us to stay comfortably warm during our March visit, especially when using the bathroom. There was a basic kitchen area; no microwave oven. There was gas water heating. The proprietor did not offer IVA (19% tax) exemption for credit card payment by foreign visitors.

I could not find plugs in the room to charge my ipad and phone. I needed to take them down to the main eating area and charge them. Host was pretty abrupt and when I was checking out, she asked me if I wanted to leave a tip for the girls, explaining to me that they were like family to her. But I didn’t have that sense. I also don’t think the property was a good value for the money @ over $60 US for the night. In the morning there were large groups of people eating downstairs right below my room and they sounded like they were in my room. Old charming house but no insulation. I didn’t feel welcome there, which is generally not my experience.

I would stay here again a million times over, especially in the main house with the amazing Doris!

I loved the owner, Doris, because she was attentive and made sure I had a comfortable stay. It felt like I was visiting a relative who really cared. I enjoyed staying in the main house with a cozy fireplace and hot water, and I had my own room. Doris makes amazing jam and bread for breakfast. Also there is a friendly outdoor cat who stops by sometimes and is insanely cute.

Riding on the famous Carretera austral this location is a must-stop. do not expect a super comfy place. If you tall make sure you get a room on the first floor.

the height of the room was not optimal. I had to bend over to get in and out. I'm just 6'4 tall!

Room is exactly as presented on Booking.com site. It is cosy and homely and the wood fire adds an extra ambience. Breakfast was excellent. Our host's freshly baked pateries were delicious.

This place was fantastic ! Daria was an exceptional host. Plenty of hot water and great Wi-Fi . The homemade breakfast was delicious. The town of Chaiten and their history with the volcano eruption was extremely interesting to explore. Don’t miss Chaiten and staying at this property !

Lovely place, highly recommended.

The owner is a lovely lady, english speaking, which made any effort to make our stay pleasant. Room was heated and warm which was great. Breakfest was superb, the best we had in Chile. I would recommend it to everyone visiting Chaiten.

If I ever get back to Chaitén, I will stay here.

The host Catarina was very helpful, accomodating, and friendly. She allowed me to leave my bag at the hotel while I explored the village, and even gave me a coffee for the walk! Also, the meals that I ate there were very well prepared and presented

Great setting close to town but in quiet area. There is a cafe / bar with great selection of beers and wines. Manager speaks good English which is hard to find in Patagonia. Fantastic breakfast!

Only shared bathroom (this isn't a hostel). A triple room has 4 or 5 beds. Room would be too small for 5 people with light luggage (no wardrobes).

Superb

Very good location. The owner is really sweet and welcomes you more like a friend than a guest. Her hostal feels like home. The place is very cozy. We loved the wood stoves in the dining room and IN our bedroom! Very good breakfast. Very good ratio quality/price. We were very happy with this place.

the bathroom could get a little refreshing but it is really not a problem like that.
