Had a marvelous time.. this house was perfect..!

Surrounded by a forest. Nice accommodations and plenty of wildlife. The only disappointing thing was the lack of a third bedroom as posted in the description. The "third bedroom" was a loft with a bunch of beds and no door.

Charming cabin, close to Yellowstone.

Beautiful cabin with plenty of room set back in the woods. Very quiet retreat and less than 40 min from the west entrance to Yellowstone.

Niels nest was cleaner than any place I’ve stayed. We have travel the world in five star hotels. Couldn’t find one speck anywhere. And it wasn’t a sterile type home. Very warm and quirky. Very much enjoyed.

Loved the location and home. It was a large home with plenty of room for the entire family. Thank you so much!

We were on a family vacation to Yellowstone where we had planned on camping, however unfortunately we were looking at a week of severe thunderstorms. Luckily we were able to book this place as a last minute booking and it was exactly what we needed for a dry and peaceful sleep. Everything was clean, beds were fine, and it was about 30 minutes to the park. We really didn’t do a lot of cooking or explore the neighborhood, but it was what we needed.

This house was perfect for the 9 of us that stayed there. About 30 min from the west entrance of Yellowstone and a gas station and grocery store near by. Kids loved the swings in the backyard.

Very clean and great communication with detailed expectations or checkout procedures.

Overall, the place is cute and comfortable. Ideal house for a single family with several small kids. There is some discrepancy in regards to the rooming description. It states 3 bedrooms, but I would call it more of a 2 bedroom house with an open upstairs. There’s only 1 bedroom upstairs with a door, while the rest of the upstairs is fairly open. It looks like there used to be a curtain separating the “third” bedroom, but it’s not there anymore. There is also no AC in the house (owner did state they are planning to put AC in on the future), which is not that bad, but if staying in July or August, expect it to be stuffy upstairs as there’s little circulation. So because the second bedroom door needed to remain open so it wasn’t hot at night, there’s not really any privacy from anyone else sleeping upstairs. Again, it was a very cute house and we enjoyed our stay, however, it would just be more suitable for a single family where the kids could all sleep upstairs, instead of multiple families with an older kid like us. Kitchen came fully stocked, even had several spices and condiments, coffee, etc.

Great place to come back to after a long day at Yellowstone!

This was the perfect place to stay for our family trip to Yellowstone National Park. It was about 15 minutes away and near places to shop if needed. The home had plenty of space for our family of 7 and was secluded in the pines. Great games, and movies to watch for the whole family. I would definitely stay here again for our next trip to Yellowstone. Thank you for allowing our family to share your cabin for our trip.

This was a very nice place. All accurate with the listing. We had everything we needed for our stay. We arrived late and it was tricky in the dark but if you follow the directions it’s a piece of cake.
My only suggestion is to have smart tv’s or satellite for each TV. Very clean and we could tell it was loved. I felt very safe within this community. Thanks for sharing.

This home is beautiful inside. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Lots of room on both the first and second floors. The 2 mattresses on the second floor could be replaced. The bed on the first floor was super comfortable. Also, a hairdryer would have been helpful. The cows were entertaining each morning and evening as we traveled to and from Yellowstone. We enjoyed staying at this lovely home and would recommend staying here.

Neil's cabin was the perfect spot for our family to stay while visiting Yellowstone, the Grand Teton's and other local must sees. We loved how this property was tucked away down a private road without traffic from other renters or ATV's. The cabin was in really good condition surrounded be beautiful trees and frequent visits from wildlife, including a fox, deer, and a pair of squirrels who entertained us by wrestling on the porch. If you're debating whether this is the spot for you, just book it!

Yellowstone seclusion
We visited Yellowstone for several days. The house was clean & check in was easy. The house is in a very secluded camping community. I would have left a 4 star rating but when it came time to leave we had to take our trash off to a dumpsite that was 10 miles in the opposite direction than we were going. When we got to the place, it was closed. So we had 3 bags of trash in our vehicle with 5 adults & all if our luggage with nowhere to deposit it. We finally found a hotel where we "illegally" put it in their dumpsters. Our departure from the area was delayed 45 minutes because of the trash. The description of the cabin did not mention taking the trash off & how far away it was. We weren't sure why it isn't included in the cleaning fee. It would be easier for the cleaning crew to discard trash since they are familiar with the area or have a bear proof trash deposit onsite.

Wonderful family cabin close to Yellowstone
We enjoyed our stay here. Very clean and perfectly located by Yellowstone. Had everything we needed. This property does offer Wi-Fi and direct TV access, which the listing does not indicate. May want to update listing to reflect this, as we almost selected another property that indicated Wi-Fi access. Kitchen also has a Keurig. Lots of wildlife in the neighborhood to enjoy as well. Lots of bed choices upstairs for the kids.

Vacation
Property was neat and clean. We saw a moose and her baby in the neighborhood, which was amazing. It was quite, peaceful and relaxing. We didn’t get to go to Yellowstone due to the floods, but we went to the town of West Yellowstone, the bear, wolf discovery center. We also visited the Mesa Falls, which were beautiful. Then on our way back home we stopped at Bear world. A wonderful trip! Had great communication with the management company. The only very small negative was the beds either need new mattresses or mattress toppers.

Lovely cabin near West Yellowstone
Even though Yellowstone closed the week we visited, our stay was enjoyable largely because our kids (13, 11, 8, and 3) loved being in the cabin. Roomy and clean with updated appliances, we loved sitting inside and out.

Cute cabin in the woods
We enjoyed our stay at Neil's place. It was nice having the owner call and check on us. We didn't have any issues but I feel like if we did that she would have been quick to respond and try to fix any issues. If we are ever back in the area we would definitely stay here again if it's available. Thank you so much for allowing us to use your cabin.

Remote location near Henry’s Lake and 29 mi utes from West Yellowstone.
Lack of WiFi and adequate cell coverage made daily planning difficult. Otherwise, really nice place to stay.

Neils getaway
My family and I had a great experience at the cabin. I was clean, more than enough room for the family. It was a quiet relaxing get away. It had convenient access to the Island Park lake, Yellowstone, Mesa Falls and other areas of interest. We enjoyed it very much.

Great spot for family and entrance to West Yellowstone
In addition to a quiet location, we saw pronghorn and mama moose and two mooselets nearby. Beautiful area and easy 20 minute ride to the park.

Family Vacation
We stayed here for 9 days & the house is really we'll equipped with most everything you could need! Great base for visiting Yellowstone. Clean. Cathy was easy to get ahold of and very friendly for any questions!
Cons: Taking trash to dump every few days. Maybe a metal dumpster, like most neighbors have could be provided for future renters? The bed in downstairs room is very loud and wobbly, almost like a water bed when one person is getting in/out. The water runs very loud all night in the hallway right by the downstairs bedroom. The upstairs shower has no hot water. The upstairs could use a small fan that plugs in to help circulate fresh air a little better..... I do want to say these we're NOT deal breakers, mainly suggestions. We did find it a little odd to get a surprise visit from the owner on a Sunday, without notice though. Over all, We loved our stay & are recommending it to family and friends!!!

Beautiful Cabin, Beautiful Location
This is an excellent vacation rental. Easy access to Yellowstone. Very comfortable. We had a wonderful time!!

This was a wonderful place. It was back off the main highway, but directions were clear. Very clean.
Didn’t spend much time in the canon. It seemed to have everything we needed. Two challenges did occur. There was no hot water in the upstairs shower, and we were supposed to take trash to the land fill 15 miles south. We were going north. Seems like the cleaning fee could accommodate this.

Great Location!
We had a wonderful stay here! The cabin is beautiful, clean, and plenty of space for the four of us. The location is perfect for trips to Yellowstone, only about a 20 minute drive away. My boys especially loved the tree swing-even the 16 year old. If we were to make another trip up, we would definitely stay here again.

Great place. If heading to Yellowstone through West Yellowstone, go early( pre 9am).
The cabin is better than explained. Everyone had a nice bed to sleep in. We had a fox that visited every evening. The only setback was that there were neighbors that didn't show up on google maps. they are actually quite close, but not too close. Info on being able to fish the trout stream in the development would have been nice up front. Hauling your trash to the dump was not a good thing, but not a deal breaker either.
Overall, woth the stay and beats a hotel any day of the week.

This is a awesome cabin with all the comforts of home. We found it very clean and well stocked for our visit. It is very convenient to West Yellowstone. We had a party of 4 and visited park everyday.

Great location for families and friends.
We had a fantastic time. Access to the water at the property would have been the icing on the cake and the only reason we may look for alternate locations next time. But if you don’t want this access I would highly recommend. The property has everything you need. Just bring your food, friends and family.
