This cabin was secluded but still very close to our Ripken Experience. The house was large for our group and the kids had the entire downstairs. We enjoyed staying here. I did bring a pet and the only thing I would say, the grass, (few area for potty) was super tall and brushy. The cabin hangs off a mountain pretty much and it slopes so her potty breaks were a bit far to find something flat, that was mowed down. Other than that, it was a great place and the owners were very accommodating throughout the process.

House could be updated. Bed mattresses are worn out on all 3 king beds. No pillow cases on top pillows just shams. Bunk bed was broken on one bed. Location was easy access close to every thing. Wouldn’t stay again unless inside was updated.

This is an older cabin. It was very clean, and in a easy location. The only issues we had was the small things that could be easily updated to make it so much better. Firstly the bedding.. law, nothing matched, it was all very thin and appeared to be left from the 1980’s. Including the flat pillows. The stove worked, but one eye started smoking because all the burners had things stuck on them and the under dishes had not been cleaned or replaced in a long time. We were scared it may be a fire hazard so we chose not to use it. The living room furniture was very well… old also. I sit down in the chair and felt like I had fell in a hole! Lol. Given a updated decor this cabin could be great, currently it’s okay. I hope the owners will at least consider giving the cabin some updates and then I would consider renting it again.

The cabin was nice and very clean. We had a group of 9 and 2 dogs. There was plenty of space. Rooms were large. The online description was a little misleading. It said 3 master suites which made me think 3 of the bedrooms would have their own bath.

It was a very hot weekend. The two upstairs bedrooms we couldn't use. I contacted Aunt Bug's cabin rentals who told us 3 times someone would come out and fix it. They didn't not and they were supposed to compensate us a night and only sent a 10percent off another stay to us. We purchased a 3 bedroom and bunk room and actually what we had was a 1 bedroom and bunk room it was a miserable weekend with temperatures reaching the ninety's during the day and nights being in the 80s in the home

It was a very hot weekend. The two upstairs bedrooms we couldn't use. I contacted Aunt Bug's cabin rentals who told us 3 times someone would come out and fix it. They didn't not and they were supposed to compensate us a night and only sent a 10percent off another stay to us. The cabin was excellent, but the couch was covered in dog hair. The pool table has a 12' tear in the felt and the skate was broken from one end to the other. Very disappointed about that!! Not enough amenities to start with. Overall we made the best of it and had a blast, just disappointed with the cabin!!

Cabin was great and location was amazing! The only thing was the cabin didn’t have a lot of cooking utensils or silverware, so we did have to go out and buy some paper plates and plastic forks and spoons and some disposable baking pans, but other than that the cabin was very nice! We loved that it was really close to the Goats on the Roof Mountain Coaster, as that’s our favorite and it’s also close to our favorite bakery, Cakes by Baking Bishop (if you haven’t tried her cupcakes then you are missing out)!

We really enjoyed the cabin. I would say however, based on the description and pictures, I was under the impression that each bedroom had its own bathroom. That was not the case. This caused a bit of an issue, that could have been avoided had it been clearly described. Otherwise, it was great.

While the cabin is advertised as being able to accommodate a larger group and pets it was very cramped and there is not really anywhere to walk your pet . There is a paved pass through road at the back where you park and a steep decline from the front. If you’re looking for outdoors enjoyment while at your cabin , this is not the one . Living Room area was very very small , outdated decor on the walls and old bedding on all of the beds . The stove only had two eyes working , very limited pots and pans , no extra linens and what we did find was very dingy . All three bedrooms were very spacious but very old and dark . No good lighting in the house . Good location to town , close to everything . Amidst a recent loss in our family we went away to be together and spend time together so I was pretty disappointed that this property didn’t present as we had hoped it would . The reps with Aunt Bugs were helpful and kind.

The bedding could use updating due to the comforters being very thin and worn. A portion of the deck was blocked off to the fire pit on the lower level for unknown reasons we were prepared for evening fires while staying. There was no shelving in the refrigerator/freezer doors made for limited storage. Would definitely stay at this cabin again just needs cosmetic updates had plenty of room and the lay out of the cabin was nice.

Absolutely horrible customer service. We checked in and contacted the office at 5:45 because the upstairs air conditioning was not working. I spoke with the office twice and was assured that they would have someone come out to repair the ac. We left and went to eat and do some activities and returned to the cabin at 10 pm to find that nothing had been repaired. After calling the answering service and spending an hour trying to get someone to fix the problem I was told they were going to put us in another cabin and then was called back and told that it was not clean and was advised "to raise a window and deal with it". Further more the windows do not have screens. I asked for them to put the two families that were in the upstairs bedrooms in a hotel for the night and they refused. To make matters worse I was lied to and told that a tech did come out and they needed a part for the ac. When I asked why no one called to inform us of that and if they where aware it wasn't working then why could they not have gotten the other cabin clean in 4-5 hours I was told that the tech forgot to report the problem when he first visited the property. Furthermore there were no linens for the pull out sofas and we found sex toys in the master bedroom. Imagine explaining that to a 4 year old. The TV in the master bedroom did not work and the coffee pot didn't look like it had ever seen soap and water. Day 2 Went to the office at 8:35 and waited for them to open at 9. At 9:15 Eric (manager) walks in and says he will have the problem fixed and assured me he would make things right. We leave for the days activities and I call at 2pm to check and see if they had fixed the ac. Eric told me they had the problem corrected. We returned to the cabin at 7pm and the ac was still not working. Called the office and spoke with Stephen and was told someone was on the way. AC repair man showed up at 8:45pm and said unit was overcharged with freon. The next day the ac was the same. Finally got an actual ac company to come out on Sunday night and said that the unit couldn't be fixed without more work. He was able to get it to cool enough that we could sleep. This was the last night of our vacation. When we went to check out I asked to speak with Eric, because he never returned a single phone call, to see if he would at least reimburse me for the hotel room I had to rent but he was not available and no one in the office would do anything to make up for our experience. nice property with many activities in the lower level although very cold during the winter as heating ducts were not very efficient. Otherwise, enjoyed our stay and rental agency was very attentive to our needs.

We would stay here again!
This cabin is nice for a number of couples or families with children. Liked the 3 king beds and 3 full baths plus a half bath, although the beds are quite hard. All of the rooms are a bit dimly lit and 1 lamp had no light bulb.
The kitchen is small and could use some extra supplies of silverware, bowls and dishes. Two burners on the stove did not work at all and the oven seemed to not ever get up to the temperature it was set on. The toaster has a broken element in it that is protruding. If we stayed here again we would have to bring extra paper plates and plastic ware.
The hot tub is nice but since it has no steps to get up into it, short people have a Really hard time getting in.
There are only 5 chairs for the kitchen table and only seating for 4 in the living room, so a big group would have trouble finding a space to sit and talk except in the TV room downstairs!
We enjoyed the fireplace! The Foosball table was fun too!

We had a fabulous time would like pool we play different games my grandchildren really enjoyed it and loved it and we loved sitting on the porch rocking and just talking and enjoying the view of the mountains and just relaxing and it was such a wonderful trip it was actually too short of a trip we will come back and spend at least a week or longer because we all want to come back so bad we really truly enjoyed it especially my husband and I just spent time with her grandchildren like we do in our grandchildren wants to come back to The only problem I had was the floors really needed to be in Mopped they look clean But when you got out of the bathtub they showed on the bottoms of your feet hit the floor was not clean that was the only problem we had with the cabin but other than that we really and truly had a great time and I would recommend them to anyone

Cabin overall was exactly what we needed for our families. With little kids it was nice to have 3 separate floors for privacy and allow the kids to have their own space. Needs a little attention to the pool table sticks and air hockey game but still worked fine enough for the kids to enjoy. Only down side I guess would be there is no where for the kids to play outside but I would stay here again.

This rental was for a birthday party with 6 women in attendance. This cabin is not cleaned properly, the hit tub was very cloudy and bubbled foam, so we avoided it, the bathroom in the main floor has filthy built in the corner by the tub, sink hadn't been cleaned, and hairs on the shower wall. The wood floors have a lot of dust balls everywhere and when you walk up the stairs there is duty and dust on every tread. Carpets are insanely dirty. The fireplace(No gas), grill(nasty built up food and no gas)and surround sound were unable to be used. It has all of the games you could want for any age, beds were comfortable other than questionable cleanliness of linens. Bummer weekend especially for the price.

Auntbugs was flawless as per usual. We have stay with them many times throughout the years, the staff is great and always helpful. Just a few things that need addressing. The shower in the master bedroom does not work we had to use the one upstairs which was inconvenient. Also the exhaust fan in the master bath does not work, if you flip the switch it will hum but not come on. This could be a potential fire if someone forgets to turn if off. One of the tvs one the upper floor doesn't work. The fireplace did not work, it may have been empty but either way it was not useable. One of the heat pumps was running on emergency heat which ran most of the time. It did not seem as if it could heat good enough to kick off. All of the toilets have leaks from the tank to the bowls which made them run once the water level reached the trigger point ithey would start filling. All through the day and night. The cabin needed a good cleaning. None of this ruined our trip but had these things been working correctly it would have been better.

I would like to say, first off, the cabin was nice and in a quiet spot which was great for relaxed family time. However, when we booked the cabin we were informed there were 3 walk in showers to accommodate older/handicapped adults. This was not the case. There were 3 tubs with showers. This led to a difficult showering experience to say the least. We had to buy assistive devices which wasted a few hours of our vacation time to find and purchase. There were no cables to attach the DVD player to the movie room projector so ...no movie night. The throw pillows were well used and did not appear clean. Bunk bed mattresses did not have covers on them but they appeared clean. Bring your own pillows! This site did not provide wash clothes or hand towels. No kitchen towels. Bring your own. Kitchen was fairly well equipped. You may want to bring small containers for left overs and don't forget the tin foil. Most of the refrigerator door shelves were missing the bin/guard part that keeps items on the shelves. So this will limit space in the fridge. The hot tub was nice and relaxing but could use a step to get in and out of it easier. Not conducive to older adults with limit mobility. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the 4 rocking chairs. View of the trees, not much view of mountains. Washer and dryer were regular size which was a wonderful surprise. Dryer did not dry well so took longer to dry a load. There was also not enough seating in the living room for the 5 adults. We used kitchen chairs to watch t.v. so not a major issue. So, the cabin is in a good location, near a lot of antique shops and grocery store. It is in a quiet area where we enjoyed taking walks on the road and sitting on the porch. Nice game room. Over all okay place, just not what we were told. Probably better for those with teenagers that need their own space than groups with older adults or those with limit mobility. Lots of stairs and no walk in showers.

We enjoyed our stay this past week. This cabin is not totally secluded as it sits above a private residence w/a rather rude person living below. This was our only concern we would share-especially if you have young children w/you on your visit. To be sitting on the back deck at 8 a.m., enjoying a cup of coffee and the view and have someone below scream out "It's 8 o'clock in the G+* D#^*n morning" was definitely a black mark. Apparently an excited lil 3yr old coming out to say good morning is more than they could handle. The property below the trash bin does have a fair amount of litter, that i attribute to critters getting into the cans which had no lids.
