Great location but be aware you are directly above a popular bar with loud music till the early hours. Ski in and out.
Most lights were not working as the switch was broken. A sharp screw was sticking out of a bunk bed causing a cut hand and most importantly the shower flooded the whole apartment. It took an hour of mopping up and anything on the floor was totally soaked including suitcases. After no attendance from maintainence we cleared the shower drain ourselves which was blocked solid !! Yuk ! The light switch was replaced on our last day. The sharp screw was hit with a hammer making it stick out the other side. My solution of a wine cork at each side was probably safer.
Internet was very intermittent. No reply about asking owner about promised free tickets to the swimming pool.
However, we had a marvellous holiday. Great central location. Bakery below for fresh bread. Really well equipped kitchen allowed you to cook if you wanted. Great for our party of 2. A family of 4 could manage. I think 6 people would be really overcrowded.
In summary, a great place, beautifully decorated but let down by poor maintenance. It’s possible the owner doesn’t know that these faults have occurred. We were given a telephone number to call which we did. They could not accept instructions from us and told us to contact the owner. This seemed to take several days.
We would return but ask for an assurance that the shower was functioning and no more mopping would be required !!

Appartement au centre de la station très bien placé si on veut de l'animation. Les propriétaires ont fait un réel effort pour que l'appartement soit beau et agréable. Comme un petit chalet. Et l'accueil est parfait.

We loved our view! And our accommodations! Everything in this well appointed chalet was top notch, and as our two girls commented, so modern. We had two ski lockers on the first floor, and we were on the second floor. Directly across from our condo building was the tourist center, the place to buy lift tickets, and lots of restaurants and bars.
Now, what I will add here does not lower their 5 star rating by any means, but I want the owners to be aware of these noted items. Oftentimes there was no signal for any of our tv's which is good. We had to play card games! Maybe besides the Wii games board games can be provided. You need an iPod if you want to use their surround sound. I would make only a couple of suggestions to the owners: since we cooked our lunches, it would have been lovely to have seasonings to use; having real coffee and many more bags of tea available would have also been great; and finally, we would have appreciated having more than one and a half rolls of toilet paper.
But truly, this is the perfect place for a family vacation! We will be back, and we would love to return to this very same chalet. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and beautiful place.

Our stay in this apartment was great. The place was clean and very nicely decorated and we, as a family of 5, were very comfortable. Great location in the center of the main street close to all amenities and the lifts. Nice touch with our hostess Benedikte's warm attentions.

Le nid douillet et chaleureux de nos rêves
Location parfaite. Accueil parfait et super chaleureux, on ne pas rêver mieux.
Véritable petit nid douillet avec l'odeur des croissant... un régal.
Les petits déjeuner sont épatants, super pour partir skier.
Idéalement situé dans la station, au coeur d'Avoriaz. Séjour 100% dépaysant.
Vraiment l'idéal pour des vacances en famille.
Propreté impeccable, vraiment tout y est bien aménagé.
Et les propriétaires sont tellement sympas.

Très bien conçu pour une famille de 4, parfait de part sa situation en plein centre de la station.
Petit-déjeuner extra!! Mais pas que, l'après ski était au rdv !!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans cet appartement fait avec gout et très douillet !!!! il ne manquait rien ! proche du village d'enfants 5 minutes à pied ,appartement très bien situé !!! situation idéale !!!! il nous manque déjà le bruit des calèches !!!! et l'odeur des croissants le matin !!!!

We were 6 adults aged 20-30.
From the minute we arrived in the boulangerie, we were shown to our apartment and opened the door to a superbly finished room and champagne on the table.
Everything was thought out to maximise guests comfort. The Televisions in the bunks, docking station in the main room, shower and toilet was a very clever touch and even a Nintendo wii.
Staff down in the boulangerie were helpful and friendly, we ventured down every morning to get a basket full of fresh pain au chocolats and croissants/breads.
Everything was so close the location really was ideal, ski in ski out everyday.
There was not a thing I could have faulted throughout the duration of our stay.
I would recommend this apartment to anybody travelling to Avoriaz and I will definitely return.

Vraiment l'idéale de part ça situation en plein centre de la station mais également très pratique tout est parfait dans cet appartement (rangements,fonctionnel).Sans parler du petit-déjeuner du matin hoummmmm!!!!! mais également de la gentillesse des propriétaires. Vraiment un séjour inoubliable pour nous comme pour les enfants.

From the minute we arrived in the boulangerie, we were shown to our apartment and opened the door to a superbly finished room and champagne on the table.
Everything was thought out to maximise guests comfort. The Televisions in the bunks, docking station in the main room, shower and toilet was a very clever touch and even a Nintendo wii.
Staff down in the boulangerie were helpful and friendly, we ventured down every morning to get a basket full of fresh pain au chocolats and croissants/breads.

The breakfast was great and consisted of croissants, pain au chocolate, bread and home made jam from the bakery they owned downstairs. The room was in the centre of Avoriaz, which made it easy to get to the slopes during the day and the bars in the night.
The only negative was that the wifi did not work after the first night and they were unable to fix it. I would definitely recommend staying at this apartment.

Nous avons passé la semaine de Noel dans ce magnifique cocon douillet et chaud.. Appartement extrêment bien situé, très calme malgré sa position centrale...et parfait avec des enfants et ados.
une grande cuisine s'avère très agréable... et le panier petit déjeuner est vraiement décicieux..
Nous recommandons cet appartement mais pas trop car nous aimerions pouvoir avoir encore de la place pour y séjourner ;-)
Les propritétaires sont super accueillants et vraiment disponibles.

My party consisted of my friend and his two sons and myself and two daughters. The kids age ranged from 9-12.
The apartment is essentially one room (with a separate shower room and a WC), sleeping arrangements consisted of two double bunk beds and two single bunk beds.
The kids shared the doubles and my friend and I had the singles. The kids really liked the fact that each double bunk had it's own tv and they had a curtain for privacy.
There are large drawers under each bunk to store clothes and a cupboard with hanging rails. There is a space for storing your boots with a drip tray. Storage for your luggage is limited but the owner offered to put them in a store room for us.

My party consisted of my friend and his two sons and myself and two daughters. The kids age ranged from 9-12.The apartment is essentially one room (with a separate shower room and a WC), sleeping arrangements consisted of two double bunk beds and two single bunk beds. The kids shared the doubles and my friend and I had the singles. The kids really liked the fact that each double bunk had its own tv and they had a curtain for privacy.There are large drawers under each bunk to store clothes and a cupboard with hanging rails. There is a space for storing your boots with a drip tray. Storage for your luggage is limited but the owner offered to put them in a store room for us.Skis are stored in a special room on the ground floor and the owner has access to two lockers which was enough for 3 sets of skis and poles and 3 snowboards.The apartment itself is lovely and very nicely decorated, the kitchen is well equipped and all the appliances seemed very new and worked well. The apartment is extremely warm and our clothes dried very quickly on the wet days - it was a really nice place to return to after a cold day.The owner, Benedicte, was lovely. She was very attentive to our needs and great with the kids. She owns the bakery below the flat, which is by far the best in Avoriaz, and is also where you will get your breakfast from each day. The kids really liked going down each morning to collect our basket of freshly baked bread and croissants!I thoroughly recommend this apartment and like the personal touch of dealing direct with the owner - I hope to return there next year!

Petit appartement dans lequel on se sent comme dans un cocon. La décoration et la fonctionnalité sont très bien étudiées. Il ne manque rien. La situation est idéale et les propriétaires sont aux petits soins. Nous reviendrons!
