It’s very quiet and quaint and the rooms are large. The breakfasts are plentiful and homemade. Great location!
It is 60 stairs to the top floor.

Great breakfast in the mornings. Perfect location to explore on foot the old quebec city. Madame Jolante, our host, was so friendly and accommodating. The A/C worked phenomenally when we returned from our outside journeys. Bed is comfy. Room was large. Lots of hot water for showering. Loved the art ambience in the decor.
It was hard climbing the 3 sets of steep stairs to get to our room.

This B&B was located perfectly and centered around all activities. Natalie our host was very sweet and accommodating.
Nothing. It was wonderful

The room was very large and so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with homemade cake every morning. The location is within walking distance to everything.

Jolanta was the perfect hostess! She answered all my questions, was extremely friendly and hospitable and went out of her way to make our stay a memorable one.
My family enjoyed the delicious breakfasts every morning , unlimited cold water and robust coffee!
The location was centrally located so we could walk to all the attractions in Quebec City. The funiculaire was a unique experience, a walk through an underground ruin was very interesting and a 1.5 hour guided cruise on the St.Lawrence River to see the Montmorey Falls is a must! My family and I walked a lot, ate delicious foods, and enjoyed every moment in Old Quebec City.
Some bacon, sausage or meat for breakfast

The beds were great, the room was beautiful, the location was perfect, and the owner was lovely.
There was nothing we didn’t like.

I like the Old World charm of the house.
The property was excellent, but the food at breakfast could have been better.

I enjoyed the breakfast - eggs, cheese, toast, OJ. Every day there was homemade cake! One morning, I asked Jolanta for the recipe and she printed it out for me!

Freshly baked cake each day.. we had carrot cake, banana nut bread, prune cake, and apple cake. Breakfast was lovely place to chat with travelers from Australia, Europe, United States and Canada.
Maybe some local TV options. Or weather or news.

The location is ideal for walking to all of the popular tourist areas of Quebec City. We were very close to excellent restaurants, shops, and sites. There was no noise that affected our sleep, and the room was spacious. The architecture, furnishings, layout, and ambiance of the building seemed perfect to us. It felt like we were a part of the city versus guests only staying for one week.
The bathroom was somewhat small, but the room itself was much larger than we expected. We also had a private covered terrace and a space with a writing desk which was helpful in planning our days.

wonderful , enthusiastic hostess, nice room , good ventilation , air or heat, breakfast included
no elevator luckily we were just on the second floor for luggage

We appreciated the friendly, quaint atmosphere and lovely, squeaky clean rooms. The location was perfect, inside the city walls but on a quiet street (with two small grocery shops nearby). We had a cold snap while there, and our hostess was right there to help get the heat going in our suite.
Unloading and parking are a chore in the crowded city, but that is probably universal.

great location in the old city. clean and well organized.
the legs on the bed were easy to bang into.

Location was great with a nice breakfast selection.
Our room was on the 3rd floor. The stairs were very steep and curved and lots of them. It was difficult getting our luggage up and down.

Jolanta went out of her way to help us settle & provide us what th answers to any questions we may have.
My luggage was heavy & tackling to stairs coming in was difficult. If doors could be propped open somehow they both hands could be used to handle luggage.

A lovely stay with a lovely owner who makes you feel at home and goes out of her way to do so. Location is excellent, AM meals were tasty w/decent offerings. Felt welcomed and appreciated here.
Nothing negative to say. The lovely web images do portray rooms accessible via a steep staircase only. If you cannot do stairs, ask for the bottom level room. Thankful it was free for us!

Complementary breakfast was simple, but very nice. Really useful as breakfast opportunities in town are limited. Despite being a very old building and the bedroom was on the ground floor, it was exceptionally quiet. Plenty of space & the room full of old Quebec charm
The room is a bit dark. If you were on a higher floor, then the staircase could become an issue for luggage.

The hostess was helpful and the location great. We loved the breakfasts each morning which always included a freshly baked pastry. We stayed in the Richelieu room which was very large.......it had 2 beds and is up one flight of stairs.

The room was very spacious with 2 queen size beds and a sitting area with 3 nice chairs and a coffee table plus a desk and chair. The location is excellent in the heart of the old town. Good breakfast and friendly staff.
Pillows and towels were not very good.

Host was really lovely and accommodating. The rooms pair antique charm with modern conveniences. They maximized space very well to make a very comfortable living area.
Terrace outdoor areas were an unexpected bonus.
The old city of Quebec is teeming with tourists, but our little hotel was on a quiet street. I allowed you to escape from the hubbub.

The location was walkable to all the attractions to see in quebec city. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The terrace was a nice touch with a beatific view of the city.
Breakfast was pretty minimalistic.
Towels were outdated but did their job. Very much B&B style.

We very much enjoyed having a large room decorated with fabulous paintings, and we especially loved having a deck outside to enjoy a glass of wine.
More fruit at breakfast.

The accommodations, the location and especially the hostess was absolutely fantastic. Next trip to Quebec City, that's where we will stay!
There wasn't anything that we didn't like

Location was excellent in terms of proximity to sights etc, but a lot of uphill walking to get to it, especially from the station. Charming house, very comfortable and spacious room, access to terrace and lovely view. Nice continental breakfast although considering it was Quebec, I expected and was very disappointed not to have any croissants offered. Lots of lovely teas on offer. Drip coffee very disappointing - would much prefer a pod option. Lovely dining areas. Very clean and comfortable and charming.
The stairs (lol) but that goes hand-in-hand with choosing an historic building. We had to climb up three narrow flights of stairs every time we wanted to get to our room, which is difficult with a heavy suitcase and also after climbing up steep hills to get there. Other than that, there was nothing to dislike, but as I said, that just comes with the historic territory!
Would have been useful to have a list of nearby grocery stores and liquor outlets handy, along with opening hours.

The breakfast was really nice!

The location was great, our host was wonderful and served up a great breakfast with a different cake each morning. I enjoying have tea available any time of the day.
I would definitely ask for a room at the back. Quebec has lots of night life and it was noisy if you enjoy an open window for fresh air. Also be aware there is no elevator.
